Grande personale e molto attento a alcune questioni che abbiamo avuto con la stanza all'inizio e tutto è andato bene ....fino ..... A mezzanotte ci svegliamo con urli di una donna (bevuto? **************? Echoing in the car yard , banging on our and other doors and cars using F words ... running around like a mad.. Poi ho sentito uno degli ospiti urlando chiudere il...successivamente ha chiamato la sicurezza del pub e hanno cercato di calmare la donna che non avrebbe fermato e l'uomo vicino alla porta era molto arrabbiato urlando per chiudere... dopo 15-20 min sicurezza e uno dei membri del personale notturno ha scortato la donna che Stava accanto a noi, si è buttata fuori mentre urlava e costantemente si è spinta in macchina
Dopo che mi è andata, ho aperto la porta molto agitata e ho parlato con il personale, e le ho consigliato quanto sia stressante e spaventata la situazione che mi ha fatto sentire con questo rumore. Poi ho controllato la nostra macchina per vedere se era danneggiata o no, fortunatamente non era. Ha detto che avrebbe chiamato il suo manager per ripagarmi o lavorare qualcosa (una stanza gratuita la prossima volta, ecc.) ha detto la stessa cosa all'uomo che era vicino e sconvolto dalla situazione.
Assoluto Nightmare assolutamente!!!! Il personale è davvero carino, hanno provato il loro meglio.

Recentemente sono rimasto per una grande competizione sportiva che ho partecipato in passato e che sono solitamente rimasto a Penrith o Rooty Hill. Che gemme Holiday Inn St Marys è! Un hotel nuovo con grandi camere e accoglienza amichevole. Le camere erano di dimensioni più grandi, con un vasto bagno e senza spazi. Io di solito viaggia con un pannello di potenza per poter caricare tutti i miei dispositivi, ma non ne avevo bisogno, perché le camere hanno un abbondante potere/USB di carica. Grande letto e una scelta di piastrelle. Situato vicino alla porta del St Marys Leagues Club con molte opzioni di cena disponibili, come dice il titolo ”Un grande luogo per soggiornare a Sydney occidentale”.

State a 7 minuti di distanza e lungo la strada dalla strada Est Creek Raceway. Le camere sono di base ma pulite, la receptionista è stata utile e obbligatoria, ci fa sentire benvenuti. Recently went to an event at Sydney Motor Parkway and has trouble booking close by. We found the Mercure got us out of trouble but was not perfect by a long way. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but motel had no breakfast arrangements for guests. We were able to have an evening meal at the attached Blacktown Workers Club. This was good value and catered with individual meals or a buffet evening meal. Very disappointed as neither the club or motel had any arrangements in place for providing breakfast. A nearby McDonalds was all staff could suggest. They did have off street parking and it certainly got us out of trouble when trying to book close to the venue.

I was very optimistic of this place, and indeed spent a very comfortable afternoon in air conditioning with high speed internet for work. The place is a stone's throw from a multitude of dining options, and the river, and it has a swimming pool. However there was a lot of construction noise from next door, and I never would have booked if I'd known that. It's not on the website. When I peeled back the sheets, housekeeping had left the bottom 30cm of the bed completely un-sheeted under the doona. No under protector or anything, so just my own feet on rough mattress. Awful. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable (hard) and would benefit from a topper. Someone else's dirty socks were in the safe. I was willing to overlook the tradie who came into my room while I was in there. Happy I had the chain on, and it was an honest mistake. All in all I think 3 stars is a bit of a generous review, but I am appreciative of what it's like to be in small business and have external factors affect your product. A general workshop with the staff would bring it up to scratch in no time.

UUtente ospiteI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Rreturn visitorSoggiorno in questo hotel ogni volta che devo visitare Sydney. È vicino ai trasporti, un modo semplice ed economico per visitare il CBD. Avere una reception aperta 24 ore su 24 è utile poiché spesso arrivo dopo il lavoro e può essere molto tardi/presto. Anche la colazione è un vantaggio (una colazione calda completa) è migliorata di recente, si sono verificati problemi post COVID ma ora è tornato all'eccellente standard precedente. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza grandi. L'unico inconveniente è il parcheggio a pagamento, ma di solito riusciamo a trovare parcheggio in strada non troppo lontano.

UUtente ospite4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Il servizio è decente e l’hotel è pulito, tuttavia è molto rumoroso dall’esterno dell’edificio e dall’interno, eco può essere sentito da tutti i piani. Ci hanno sempre salutati quando siamo entrati o lasciati. La posizione è sorprendente e così centrale a tutto. Questo sarà il mio hotel per restare a partire da ora quando visiteremo Sydney. Il personale è il miglior personale dell'hotel che abbia incontrato 💕

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?

We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.
