Hotel in zona Glebe St Gardens, Sydney

Firstly the positive points of our stay: -The hotel is in a good location close to public transport -Reception staff were friendly -The layout of the room was good with lots of storage for the size Unfortunately our stay was heavily tainted by a couple of issues with the room which were that the air conditioning was not working for our entire multiweek stay and even though we told staff multiple times from early in our stay that it was not working and we were told we were wrong or that it had been resolved when it definitely had not. Additionally the room needed a better clean, it was surface clean but the carpet was still dirty (walking around in socks it'll turn your socks dirty colour) and shower wasn't cleaned. The bathroom door was very hard to open as the rollers must not be hung properly.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our visit to Sydney for the NYE celebrations. Hotel is very easy to access with the L2 light rail directly opposite the hotel taking you right in to the CBD. But because it’s a bit further out in Randwick, the price is much more affordable, especially on NYE! Even on NYE we had not trouble getting in and out of the CBD and was very easy. Also not far from the airport so an Uber was pretty cheap for a flight home. Our room was the first one as you enter the hotel. There is no soundproofing, so we heard everyone coming and going and conversations in reception. We could also hear the toilet being flushed above and even the pedestrian crossing beep outside. Therefore, I would definitely request a room at the rear. Apart from the noise, everything else was good. The room was spacious for 3 adults, with comfy beds and decent shower. Tea/coffee and fridge, iron and hairdryer in room. Large TV and good WiFi. There’s a communal kitchen with laundry facilities if you need it and a lovely courtyard area for chilling out. We had a daily room service and towels changed each day. Location is good with plenty of choice for eating locally and 15-20 min walk to Coogee beach. I actually walked from the hotel to Coogee and then on the coastal path to Bondi and back, which was excellent. We would stay again, but not in the same room due to the noise.

Il bagno in seguito era molto, molto piccolo, ma questo è ok perché se fai il lavoro corretto di un turista, allora stai passando più tempo fuori che fine. L'unica raccomandazione che avrei per l'hotel è di vedere il doppio vetro delle finestre anteriori, perché il rumore del traffico stradale può essere molto alto. In generale, un ottimo luogo di soggiorno e molto ben situato a Royal Randwick.

My husband had to get bypass surgery at the Prince of Wales hospital recently. I booked a room for my son & I hoping I’d made the right decision on staying in a pub. Well we were pleasantly surprised…the room was big enough for what we needed & VERY CLEAN….it was serviced every day. The beds & pillows were very comfy & the room met our every need. We loved how central it was to everything…the hospital, food, public transport & anything else you could possibly need with a major Westfield within a 15 min bus trip. It was also great to be able to get something to eat for tea after visiting hrs at the hospital as most places finish taking Dinner orders by 8 - 8.30 but this hotel took orders until 9 - 9.30. There was no downstairs noise filtering up to the room which was great & staff were friendly & nothing was a problem. I will definitely stay here again.

Grande posizione in vivace Randwick con negozi, ristoranti, supermercati nelle vicinanze; soprattutto in The Spot con la sua collezione di interessanti caffè, piccoli bar e il cinema Ritz. Vicino agli autobus e al ferrovia leggera che vi porta alla Sydney CBD via Central Railway Station. Anche gli autobus o camminare a Coogee Beach con l'atmosfera e le attrazioni. Prenotato piccolo doppio soggiorno. Letto confortevole, piccolo ufficio con sedie, tavolo per vestiti con piccolo frigo, TV a parete di fronte a letto, caldaia con caffè istantaneo, tè nero e sacchi di tè verde jasmine. Bagno piccolo con doccia, shampoo, condizionatore, sapone, asciugamani decenti. L'hotel è pulito, molto amichevole e utile. La cucina e la zona da pranzo sono in piedi per gli ospiti. Wi-Fi gratuito e check-out tardivo per la prenotazione direttamente con l'hotel. La posizione della mia camera sul pavimento, che si trovava di fronte al retro del pub vicino alla porta, era meno piacevole a causa della vista del parcheggio e del rumore dei compressori di condizionamento d'aria e di altre macchine che si verificavano fuori (che passavano la notte e non così bene per un sonnoletto leggero). C’era un rumore particolarmente irritante fuori che avrebbe iniziato e fermato. La prossima volta vedrei se potessi stare in una stanza verso il retro dell’edificio e il piano superiore. In generale, una stanza piccola ma confortevole per il prezzo ragionevole che ho pagato. È stato bello usare la camera solo per dormire (spazi più grandi sono disponibili se si vuole trascorrere più tempo nella sua stanza).

1⃣️Servizi dell'hotel: guardando le foto, puoi capire perché mi piacciono: eleganti e pulite. Anche i piccoli dettagli possono soddisfarmi (la lampada da letto piccola è pratica e alla moda, lo specchio da passeggio si prende cura di ospiti di diverse altezze e le decorazioni blu e argento sono super divertenti per Natale). 2⃣️ Posizione unica: cammina per più di 10 minuti per ammirare l'alba sul mare nella Trenerry Reserve (l'ora dell'alba è solitamente intorno alle 5:35 da dicembre a Sydney in estate) e cammina per circa 5 minuti fino a Googee Coogee Beach (il negozio prende il caffè alle 6 del mattino) Vendita calda presto), lungo il Bondi Coogee Walking Trail e Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk, l'intero viaggio dura circa 30 minuti, e poi puoi raggiungere la bellissima Bondi Beach. Il pittoresco scenario lungo la strada, passando per il cimitero sul mare più bello del mondo (il cimitero di Waverley entra casualmente). Prenditi del tempo per nuotare o andare in kayak a Clovelly Beach...Si consiglia di venire a Sydney per giocare con gli amici sulla spiaggia e soggiornare in questo hotel per tre giorni. Non c'è bisogno di affollarsi nella costosa e affollata Bondi Beach, che è tutta nelle vicinanze. Il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni e il servizio sono molto buoni. Sotto c'è un ristorante tailandese molto autentico aperto fino alle 10, supermercati e bar nelle vicinanze sono tutti disponibili!

We had an amazing stay at Meriton Suites Bondi Junction! We arrived early and the staff were kind enough to allow us an early check in. Room is extremely spacious and kitchen is well-stocked. Location is amazing as you’re right about Bondi Junction station, with easy access to public transport and minutes away from the CBD. Highly recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future!
