Nightcap at Chester Hill Hotel demonstrates excellent reviews from numerous hotel guests. Upon our visit to the pub and entertainment floor at the ground level, the room's interior design was relatively unique and posh. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and well-trained, and they informed us accordingly about the covid restrictions. We want to give special thanks for an excellent demonstration of Ms. Yasmine's Hospitality. Thank you to Ms. Yasmin, who has been helpful and guided us with direction and amenities and gave us a warm welcome, and guaranteed our expectations and concern had been met. Her extraordinary and multinational people skills must be highlighted and recognized -it was a wonderful visit. For all travelers, we are recommended the Night Cap at Chester Hill hotel. Once again, genuinely appreciate the hotel team members, especially Ms. Yasmin. Keep up the good work, I will see you again next time.

Questo hotel lo riceve sempre. Quando si dice che sono le piccole cose che contano, ben William Inglis eccelle qui. Niente manca - dalla ristrutturazione della stanza come membro di Accor, acqua in bottiglia fornita nella stanza insieme ad una accoglienza. Il buono d'acqua permette un buon vino di qualità, che è una grande strategia perché ti incoraggia ad acquistare una bottiglia. Perché alcuni hotel servono vino di casa limitato e spesso crap è al di là di me. E' una grande opportunità di salire a vendere. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli, tra cui le letti e le mutandine. Il con d'aria funziona bene - a differenza di molti hotel che ho soggiornato in. Le strutture sono grandi. Le camere non possono essere veramente difettose. Quando si accede al William Inglis si fa sentire benvenuto. È la prima impressione e è sempre perfetto. Benvenuto, personale amichevole dal momento in cui si entra. Ora il ristorante! Beh, questi cuochi sanno davvero come cucinare una torta! Ma se siete vegetariani, la varietà è favolosa e il cibo è semplicemente cucinato perfettamente ogni volta. Ti danno l'impressione che vogliano davvero essere li' e vogliono davvero darti una grande esperienza. Ben fatto William Inglis. Tu prestare attenzione ai dettagli è solo un punto di vista. Abbiamo soggiornato molte volte negli ultimi 5 anni e si tratta di un hotel che è al top della nostra lista a causa del suo costante elevato livello.

L'hotel è situato nella zona di raccolta cinese e la vita è molto conveniente.L'hotel è in generale pulito e standard di 3 stelle e 4 stelle a casa.L'hotel ha un limite di tempo per la pulizia dell'igiene. È sorprendente. Non ci sono servitori che puliscano l'igiene dopo le 4 p.m. ogni giorno.La colazione è fatta di pasticcio e buona. In un'altra parola, il servizio di Trip.com non ha nulla a che vedere con l'hotel. Questo è ciò che faccio. Posso praticamente risolvere bene.

Mi sono divertito il mio soggiorno a Stamford, che ho soggiornato una notte per volare la mattina. Il personale è utile e amichevole. C'è un ristorante all'hotel che mi permette di mangiare senza dover andare fuori, che è conveniente. Ho ordinato qualcosa dalla barbecue per cena, che è bello. Prenotare la navetta da hotel all'aeroporto è facile e l'auto arriva puntuale. Stamford ha tutti gli elementi che ho aspettato come hotel aeroportuale, penserà di rimanere di nuovo per il mio se avessi bisogno da qualche parte vicino all'aeroporto.

L'hotel è sotto Accor Hotel Group, dietro è l'hotel Quest dello stesso gruppo. Sono entrambi convenienti per i viaggiatori che volano in mattinata. Ho visto gli aerei atterrare e partire davanti alla finestra. La stanza è piccola ma accogliente. Il letto è confortevole e ha un bagno impressionante. Il personale del desk front mi ha offerto una chiamata di sveglio al 4.am per un autobus di shuttle che parte al salotto internazionale alle 5:00. Finalmente non è successo nessuna chiamata, sono stato insoddisfatto di questo. Fortunatamente ho impostato una chiamata di sveglio alle 4:20am sul mio iPhone .

This hotel is very good but my booking through trip.com was delayed due to the airline, also booked with trip.com, delaying the flight. I was not able to check into the hotel as planned and arrived for the second night that was booked but the hotel had given my room away as i had not checked in as scheduled. Neither the hotel nor trip.com had advised me of such.
I can not find how to get my refund from trip.com for the two nights accommodation i paid for but was not able to enjoy as a result of the delayed flight of NZ109. trip.com managed the flight change very well but the hotel debacle was very disappointing and stressful and i need these fees returned please.

Stayed at the Moxy overnight before a flight to LAX. I really enjoyed the vibe. Great “crew” members all extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. A bit of a snafu on a feather free room but remedied immediately! Enjoyed the bar area and food choices not extensive but we liked. Rooms not very large but for a quick one night perfectly fine. You are not really near much but other hotels and the airport. I do recommend the hotel shuttle $10 pp. We took a cab with a very unhappy driver and he did a few circles around the area to up the price. The hotel is close but not walkable. No complaints- fit the bill for us.

UUtente ospiteI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Rreturn visitorSoggiorno in questo hotel ogni volta che devo visitare Sydney. È vicino ai trasporti, un modo semplice ed economico per visitare il CBD. Avere una reception aperta 24 ore su 24 è utile poiché spesso arrivo dopo il lavoro e può essere molto tardi/presto. Anche la colazione è un vantaggio (una colazione calda completa) è migliorata di recente, si sono verificati problemi post COVID ma ora è tornato all'eccellente standard precedente. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza grandi. L'unico inconveniente è il parcheggio a pagamento, ma di solito riusciamo a trovare parcheggio in strada non troppo lontano.

UUtente ospite4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?
Unlikely.

Il posto è piuttosto vecchio, però (usato come una fabbrica di lana nella vita passata) e il bagno ha mold in angoli, ma altrimenti decente pulito. È necessario un po 'di aggiornamento. Le camere sono molto grandi e hanno tutte le apparenze come lavastoviglie e piatti, forno, lavastoviglie, ferro e asciugacapelli. Stai decente per il lavoro non troppo lontano dalla città. Caffè disponibili a un isolato ma non molte opzioni. Molte opzioni per la fornitura di cibo dalla città, però attraverso le principali applicazioni.

UUtente anonimoIl nostro soggiorno all'Hotel YEHS di York Street ha avuto sia positivi che negativi.La posizione è fantastica, molto centrale e vicino a tutto, rendendo conveniente per esplorare Sydney CBD. Il personale era amichevole e utile, e le strutture di base erano sufficienti. Tuttavia, la decorazione è obsoleta, la stanza era piccola e spazzata. La pulizia generale era anche un grande declino. Il bagno aveva un odore di scarico, la doccia non era pulita, ci erano poche matite rotte e la stanza stessa era sporca.

VVivianThe hotel room is very comfortable and clean. Just the amenities they offer looks like they are lack of stock in regards with the tiny coffee packets and quality of this. Please leave more than a couple of them, especially when 2 people are staying and the price of the room. Also they were unable to give me late check out at 2PM, to charge 20 usd extra for 2 hrs is not good, especially when they are not full and I have stayed other times before. Thanks.

$12 for a large bottle of water? You’ve got to be kidding.
Anyone walking past your room? You can hear every word they say.
The taps in the shower? One turns on clockwise and the other is anticlockwise. So if you want to change the temperature half way through a shower, you need to basically turn it all off and start again.
If you have a city view, you’re looking at the Eastern Distributor freeway and the commonwealth bank building. The view is ordinary at best.
Uber Eats is difficult to order because the hotel technically doesn’t seem to exist on maps so nobody knows where it is. Then getting an Uber even at 7am it took me fifteen minutes for any driver to accept because the positioning of the hotel is weird and not at all easy to get to.
The lights are hard to use, and I just found this so surprising for a brand new hotel. Then there are USB port outlets, three in the room, but no type-C plugs?
The pool closes at 6pm lol. How ridiculous.
The pump bottles for shampoo and conditioner didn’t work in the bathroom. I had to unscrew them and wash pour out on to my hand. Counter productive and a waste.
So yeah if you want to take photos it’s pretty good but otherwise there are much better places to stay.

JJasTalbHayI stayed at Meriton for 9 nights with my son in Oct 2022. The location is excellent, with the Townhall train station & light rail located within 2mins walk from the building. There is also a Woolworths next block. The major shopping district is within less than a minute walk / located at the next light rail station, QVB station.
One of my biggest pet peeve, are the lifts, there are 3 of them and they run from carpark levels all the way till the top floor which is probably in the 50s, we had to wait really long to take the lifts. Meriton apparently leases out their carpark lots too, hence the wait for the lifts is even longer during weekends when there’s a mix of the existing room guests, new guests checking in with their luggages as well as the people picking up their cars from the carpark. It’s just a hot mess.
Meriton should really consider segregating the lifts to serve different floors. And have the people who are picking up their cars, to use other lifts instead of main lobby lifts.
I like how the room is equipped with a Washer & dryer, was able to have clean set of clothings everyday. I couldn’t start the dryer, called for help and had to wait more than 30mins, the handyman only came after my second call.
Although I stayed at the property for 9 nights, the room-keeping was very basic , just a change of new set of towels, bed was made, disposal of rubbish and replenishment of condiments (like coffee, creamery and sugar) and bathing supplies. No vacuuming of floor or washing of the bathroom, hence the room is dusty and the bathroom especially the rubber tubings surrounding the glass door has mould too. Also, the frequency of house-keeping was inconsistent, initially was once every 3 days for first 6 days and then it became everyday.
In conclusion, it’s still an excellent place to stay because of strategic location but do manage your expectations when it’s comes to the upkeep of the rooms, the hotel lifts and level of services. By the way, when I was there, the hotel lobby was undergoing renovation, so hopefully the lift situations improve.

UUtente ospiteA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.
