Sudbury: hotel con bar

On our return from Saskatchewan my wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable and best stay of our trip at the Radisson hotel in Sudbury, Ontario. Kaylee, Faith, and Jason all were so very personable and helpful in checking in and selecting our meals at Pesto's restaurant which is located in the hotel. Our stay on our way back was really topped off by our meeting with the staff and interacting with them. The bed, rooms, meals, and especially the service were all top notch and highly recommended for both our future travels and to others for a very pleasant trip. At the end of a long trip on the road we could not hope for a better experience.

Buon hotel per accedere alle riunioni mediche. Nuovo tappeto nelle camere. La porta alla stanza non si chiuse però correttamente. Il ristorante Perkins era troppo costoso e non molto buono. Rimarrei per un'altra riunione medica ma probabilmente non per viaggi ricreativi.

Le strutture dell'hotel sono difficili da dire e sono rimaste per sei giorni.Dopo falsi allarme antincendio, interruzione dell'elettricità e interruzione della rete.Se mi permetto di scegliere, non penso neanche a questo, ma il marito pensa che la cucina sia buona. Il gilet di sci non può essere utilizzato da un bambino di età inferiore. Il nostro bambino ha giocato due volte. Il salvatore ha detto che non può giocare. Il bambino è anche molto triste.Più varietà di colazione, più persone dopo le nove, è possibile avere un'interruzione di cibo, non è possibile ripararlo. Altri, non posso sopportare la rete rotta.Il servizio della stanza è buono, chiedo se hai bisogno di spazzatura ogni giorno.

Ho avuto bug di letto morso dopo il soggiorno. È sfortunato, ma mi sento come durante i miei viaggi di business, a meno che non prenoto hotel di fine anno in cui è almeno $130-$150+ per notte, c'è circa 20-30% probabilità che mi svegli con morsi.. Non posso mai vederli e tutto sembra sempre bene, ma dopo il fatto, un giorno o due dopo, scoprirai. La mia domanda più grande agli hotel è: voi ragazzi lavate ALL letti da letto, letti a giacca, cassette da cucina, biancheria, coperte, ecc dopo ogni soggiorno? Posso scommettere sul mio prossimo assegno di pagamento che non sarei sorpreso se non fosse il caso con gli hotel più bassi e è piuttosto allarmante...

I was SO impressed with this hotel. A mid range chain but full of thoughtful touches and helpful staff. Doggy treats in jars, good strong coffee at free coffee station, excellent array of things in its ‘market’. Even a selection of glasses to take to your room to use if you have brought in your own wine or beer. Spotlessly clean!

Non scrivo recensioni, ma mi sentivo costretto a venire qui dopo il mio soggiorno. Questo non è un luogo per portare una famiglia con i bambini. Non conoscevamo la zona, ma al momento dell'arrivo, notammo che il “parcheggio” (camera per 6 auto) e l'area generale intorno all'hotel erano piene di persone in droga/senza casa. Le camere sono date e in necessità di riparazioni, il sedile del bagno cadde fuori e la porta del bagno non sarebbe stato chiuso. Le letti erano comodi. Il colazione era ok, le basi, niente di sorprendente. Abbiamo notato che ci sono stati diversi ospiti dell'hotel che erano membri della comunità senzatetto - che è bello che hanno da rimanere da qualche parte, ma non ci siamo sentiti al sicuro avere i nostri figli lì. Molte persone si sono impegnate in droghe nelle strade e sull'ascensore, tutti i dipendenti erano carini e di aiuto. Volevo solo avvertire le persone che questo non è un bene/sicurezza sono di città, che è sfortunato per le persone che cercano di gestire un business alberghiero perché non è colpa loro.

This is more of a no tell motel. I booked this for my boyfriend, children and I. They billed our room hours in advance. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they take your “deposit” as a means to bill you for the room. It was MORE than the room cost. Even GWL is half or so what the room costs. Then they don’t bill you for the room (that part I was ok with afterwards). The “breakfast nook” in the lobby is 90% out of service. What they do offer for breakfast is literally a brown bag lunch. I didn’t even bother looking at what was offered, as they were all literally in brown paper bags. Nothing was laid out so you had a choice to see what was there. It’s like it was a homeless shelter. Like I said in the title - no tell motel. The whole building is only 2 floors so there is no elevator you have to carry everything upstairs if you’re on the second floor, the door to which isn’t easy to do and if you have children with you it either means carting them up and down with you on stairs or leaving them alone in the hotel room. The one stair case smelled like urine and a musky basemen. Our room had 2 sticky spots on the carpet, holes in the screen, the room REEKED of cigarette smoke they tried to mask with a glade plug in (speaking Erin someone else who rented a room theirs did as well but they only got spray in their room, they were below us), there was cereal under the one desk, and a massive chunk of hair in the bathroom behind the door! If you’re wondering my hair is purple not black, my children have blonde hair. The beds were doubles, and were the shortest doubles I’ve ever slept on in my life, I’m 5’8” and when I stretched out my feet they were off the bed. When I mentioned these things to the desk they were Iike we can’t do anything about these because you booked through a third party booking site (it’s their PARENT SITE by the way, I just had a corporate discount). There is no excuse for lack of cleaning. The fact that most vehicles were gone by 630am just confirms this is likely a no-tell motel and not a hotel. I’d never stay there again. Next time we go to Sudbury to see Science North and Dynamic north we will pay a bit more for a proper hotel Vs a dive. The only thing I’ll give them is we didn’t get bed bugs.

room was clean , shower water was hot , good breakfast , ample parking , close to shopping and food , firm bed and firm pillows , there were no loud noises in the hotel and sleep was great , ac was good and heat in morning . Friendly staff were very welcoming
