We stayed in this hotel as a base for exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which is good option as it is a convenient location and there are a choice of restaurants in Stykkisholmur, plus you get a great view out to the islands. The hotel itself is fine, but nothing special. The breakfast is good and the drinks at the bar were enjoyable (though our service was not very good). Our room was okay, and the bathroom was nice, but we were disappointed to have very few TV channels to view. We did like the convenience of parking. The hotel is not as central as others, which means it is not as close to the water. It is a good choice for the area but don't expect too much.
