UUtente ospiteOur stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach.

YYouhanLa proprietà era sorprendente, ti senti come se fossi in un paradiso nel mezzo della giungla.
Il cibo era grande e il servizio era eccellente.
Solo che alcune persone hanno avuto un po' troppo divertente nella piscina e hanno avuto incidenti che hanno fatto spostare tutti la piscina per la pulizia, ma ci sono altre piscine e lagoni che si possono rilassarsi per ripararla. Assicurati di provare i tacos di pesce al ristorante vicino alla spiaggia e il ristorante del tetto vegan è anche grande per colazione.
Si prega anche di andare a XPLOR .... è così bene fatto ... e abbiamo avuto il più divertente lì. Ci dispiace andare a Xelha ... tu vai lì la mattina e sei rimasto fermo lì fino alle 4:00 dove come XPLOR puoi tornare liberamente. Ci dispiace non provare gli altri parchi che facevano parte del resort.

UUtente ospitePros: very clean, staff are helpful and polite. The beach is beautiful white sand with turquoise water and palm trees for shade. There are a lot of chairs around the pools and on the beach. The room was comfy, good beds and pillows. Great shower and bathtub. The property is well kept. The are many activities, games and events organized.
CONS: The food is average, generic and limited for vegetarians. The restaurant menues are not a la carte. It’s a fixed menu. The cocktail are way too sweet , except for David, it was impossible to get a good drink. The wine is dry but no choice not even to purchased. If you like an American diet with everything sweet and you want to hand by the pool and bar, you will be happy. If you want to rest on the beach, without having vendors bug you every 5 minutes plus having to breathe cigarette smokes which is allowed all over the beach. If you like decent food and enjoy a good cocktail and wine. This place is not for you.

Deve essere in auto per tornare in tutti i luoghi. Alcuni lobby e ristoranti di hotel e varie strutture possono essere utilizzati l'uno dall'altro. Le attività sono molto ricche, C'è un amministratore sotto ogni edificio, che prende cura di tutte le esigenze dei clienti di questo edificio!Il servizio è buono!Dopo le 8 di ogni mattina, il amministratore organizza il programma di attività tutto il giorno e apre il ristorante e tutti i tipi di concerti. Il tempo di attività è inviato a tutti, molto intimo! Le attività sono anche molto ricca ogni giorno!Ci sono venti ristoranti diversi nel gruppo hotel, tutti pacchetti completi, molto attento! Ci sono anche molte attività ogni notte, performance musicale, diverse feste! L'orario è in posizione! La costa è anche molto lunga, ci sono laghi interni che si collegano, la scena è molto buona! E'molto adatto per le vacanze familiari!

AAlisha Corine VictoriaIt was AMAZING! I had such a great time there! The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. I made sure to eat and drink as much as possible, I think I ate too much! There is only a buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner at the restaurants. It's à la carte (if you paid for the package) and you can order as much food as you want. Mexican food for lunch and Italian or Mexican food for dinner (you have to book for dinner). I also love that the rooftop bar has unlimited great food for the whole day. The pool area was nice and so was the furniture. My room was huge and very spacious, I did not have the best view which didn't matter because I was upstairs on the rooftop for most of the time. They also stock the room fridge with soft drinks and beer which are unlimited. Each floor has a water cooler machine and an ice machine which was great when it came to refilling my water bottles. I think it's a great idea instead of the single use water bottles. I highly recommend staying here, my only regret was not staying here longer. I will be back in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-organized resort with spacious, quiet rooms (ours had no balcony, but it was fine). The minibar was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless.
Highlights:
✔ Food variety – Multiple à-la-carte restaurants (dinner reservations not needed) and buffets with good lunch/breakfast options.
✔beach – Plenty of sunbeds but no umberalla so bring your sunscreen, though pools get crowded les sunbeds.
✔ Access to sister hotels – Party lovers can visit Riu Tequila’s club nearby.
✔ Convenient location – Mini-market across the street, and Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) is just a 150-peso taxi ride away.
✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min ride + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado turism station).
Minor drawbacks:
✖ No elevators – Tough for guests with mobility issues.
✖ Entertainment hiccups – The host sometimes forgot to switch back to English after Spanish announcements.
Perfect for: Travelers who want good value, variety, and proximity to Playa’s nightlife.

UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay. The food offered a great variety and was always a good choice. The facilities are very spacious, so you don’t feel how many guests are actually staying at the hotel. The beach was excellent — you just need to wake up early to get a front-line beach bed.
We loved the continental breakfast available at 6 am; with our jet lag, it was amazing to have such an early option. Most of the guests were middle-aged, kind, and friendly, which created a very pleasant atmosphere.
They also have an amazing jungle area with animals, which was very cool. The animals looked healthy and well taken care of, and it was a lovely addition to the experience.
However, we didn’t see many staff members who were smiling or particularly willing to help — some were friendlier than others, but a few came across as a bit rude.
Overall, we had a very nice experience and would return to this hotel again.

NNikkilaoshiFirstly El Beso is simply 1 building within the larger Ocean Rivera resort. Meaning only your building is Adults Only. Our Swim up room was lovely. We tried almost all if not all of the 10 restaurants and we had no complaints the food was good. Maybe not always amazing but never terrible. There’s like 3/4 different brands or levels of service within the larger resort. El Beso seems to be 1 level from the top which is Privilege we switched for an extra night & the mini bar for privilege was much better as well as having the butler service and priority restaurant bookings when they were all booked. There’s also a special restaurant only for privilege that was great but none of the restaurants were extremely crowded. There’s an app or webpage that works like an app with all of the resort info and you can book reservations there. There’s also lots of entertainment nightly. It’s definitely a place to go and stay there’s no need to venture outside of the resort there’s so many things to do schedules are packed for all of the different areas & a bowling alley and theater. There is not much near by the tourist area is maybe 20 mins away by car down the beach.

UUtente ospitePros - il personale è tutto meraviglioso. Il resort è stato recentemente rinnovato, quindi è in buona condizione.
Cons - il cibo non è grande... Io lo chiamerei mediocre divergenza sui poveri. Neanche i ristoranti a la carte erano grandi e chiamerei il sistema di prenotazione/processo di nastro rosso pazzesco per visitare i ristoranti a la carte di mettere fuori, divergenza su pazzesco.
Probabilmente non ritornerò per le ragioni sopra esposte, ma devo ribadire che tutti i servizi erano davvero carini e non c'è dubbio l'accento della visita.
