Hotel 4 stelle a Honolulu

Amazing hotel location for the price! 5 minutes walk to the beach, big rooms, lovely queen size beds, and there were so many free services and lessons for the Christmas season. You can borrow a free surf board / beach chair and all, which is really useful considering the ridiculous prices for their rental at the beach! We stayed here for 11 nights and loved our stay. Huge shoutout to Magdalena for being an amazing housekeeper and really doing such a good job everyday, as well as the two F&B director and manager who were conducting all the free Christmas classes, from poke bowl making to cocktail mixing and gingerbread house design. We had a lot of fun!

We had an amazing time! The staff was very friendly we valet the car even though it was 75.00 a day it was worth it due to the area being very busy and when people say parking is limited it is true! The hotel was well maintained for the price they are working on the balconies but we had the Diamond Head view it was fabulous!! They met all our expectations I would stay there again the price was great!!

La camera è stata ristrutturata con letti e cuscini eccezionalmente comodi. La posizione è eccellente, vicino a un fermo degli autobus, e benefici complimentari come bottiglia d'acqua riutilizzabile con stazioni di riempimento fredde e sedie da spiaggia/umbrelle gratuite da un hotel partner aggiunge grande valore. Esiste un'esperienza di piccole dimensioni (ad esempio, posizionamento fuori strada, porta fissa), ma l'esperienza complessiva è molto raccomandata, soprattutto considerando il prezzo competitivo.

Nel complesso, è stato un soggiorno piacevole e lo consiglio! La camera era delle giuste dimensioni, il letto era davvero comodo e abbastanza ben attrezzata. Avrei gradito qualche comfort aggiuntivo e un bollitore, ma me lo hanno fatto portare in camera dopo una rapida richiesta alla reception. Le immediate vicinanze dell'hotel offrono tutto ciò che si può desiderare, un sacco di supermercati e ristoranti, e non sono troppo rumorose. Sarebbe stato un soggiorno perfetto se non fosse stato per i lavori in corso che impedivano la vista sull'oceano (nessun problema di rumore maggiore, nel caso qualcuno si preoccupasse). Oh, anche la palestra presente in loco era molto più attrezzata di quanto mi aspettassi e dovrebbe essere sufficiente per il tipico frequentatore di palestra per allenarsi un po' prima di andare in spiaggia (non abbastanza per una sessione impegnativa, ovviamente).

Not recommended for families, not a typical family hotel. It is small and boutique as advertised. Only one lift working during our visit and used by everyone including household staff, long waits and usually full. They appear to have strict rules and did not feel comfortable walking freely around the hotel, always felt like we were being watched. I would not stay here again and would not recommend the hotel to people with young kids.

Outstanding service from the moment we arrived at the front entrance. Friendly, knowledgeable staff were able to answer all of our questions and accommodate all our requests. Room was nicely appointed and generously sized with ample room in the walk-in closet for our 8 full-sized checked bags (we stopped through HI in the middle of a move 🙂). Had two double beds and a hid-a-bed which was perfect for our family of four. The small refrigerator in the room was just the right size for water bottles and some snack/breakfast food we picked up at the Target just across the street. Appreciated being able to check out fresh beach towels pool-side each day. That saved a lot of suitcase space. The balcony was just large enough for a small table and two chairs to catch a great view of the ocean. The hotel is located between prime beachfront on the one side and the International Marketplace on the other, everything you need is within easy walking distance. The kids enjoyed the beginner surf lessons available beachside through Faith Surf Academy, and being able to rent a board to continue surfing over subsequent days. Waves were perfect for beginners and despite there being a fair number of other visitors, there was plenty of room to swim, play, and enjoy the water, though space on the beach itself was a bit tight at times. The one shortcoming we experienced was there not being any self-service laundry on-site. It seems there used to be, but it's unavailable with the current renovation project underway, and I'm unsure whether they intend for it to be part of the updated plan or not. Paid laundry service is available, but we opted to walk down the road to a laundromat. All in all, the whole family enjoyed our time at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and would recommend it.

1) The escalator leading from the lobby to the mezzanine level was out of order. Given the makeshift barrier on the mezzanine level, it looked like the escalator had been out of commission for some time. Quite a shame from a convenience standpoint. 2) I had checked into the hotel after midnight because of a flight delay so I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep quickly after taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I woke up in the middle of my first night's stay noticing a foul odor. After walking around the room and initially thinking it was coming from the A/C vent, I pinpointed the origin of the bad smell to the linens: the pillowcases, sheets, blanket. It smelled like a dirty wet sponge or clothes that never dried completely but were put back in the dresser drawer. I pulled all of the linens off the bed and left a note for housekeeping to replace them because of a foul odor. They did and it was fine the rest of my stay, but the point is I never should have had to do that. 3) Upon returning from my uncle's funeral Saturday night, to my dismay I found 20-30 cars that had been double-parked by the valets in the hotel parking lot. After circling the lot several times in the hopes of catching someone leaving but having no success, I decided to look into valet parking, figuring that since I was a hotel guest they would have something worked out. When the valet told me the valet fee was $49 even for hotel guests I was flabbergasted and declined. He instructed me to go back to the parking garage and speak to the parking attendant to ask about my parking options. When I got there, the parking attendant initially refused to come out of his booth to help me so I had to enter the garage, go all the way around to the exit and talk to him so that he didn't have to leave his booth. He pointed at a white car parked outside and told me to look for parking ”around there.” I asked him if that was assigned to the hotel, because I did not want to wake up tomorrow morning to discover that my rental car had been towed or impounded. He did not convince me that this was not a possibility so I parked the car where he instructed me to, took photos of the area, and went to the hotel registration desk to look further into the parking situation. The signage was also not clear. When I got to the registration desk, I was helped by an employee who seemed to have a French accent. He was definitely European, with very short hair. I explained what had just happened with the parking and he told me that the hotel did not have ”jurisdiction” over that parking area and he could not guarantee me that my car would not be towed. There happened to be another employee, a local guy, just finishing a transaction with a hotel guest so I moved one station over and asked him the same question. He clarified the situation and explained that that outside parking area (in the middle, under the ramp) was overflow parking for the hotel, and, as long as my hotel parking pass was clearly displayed, my car could remain there for the duration of my stay.

L'hotel è eccellente per le famiglie dato che tutto è sul sito con molte piscine e sulla spiaggia. La stanza è un po' obsoleti, anche se abbastanza per dormire e doccia

Hotel ci piaceva molto. Belle viste della città dal 30° piano. La camera è composta da 2 camere, c'è una cucina con un grande frigorifero e forno. Quasi come un appartamento. Sarei felice di rimanere qui per più tempo. L'hotel dispone di un parcheggio per un canone separato, ma è libero di parcheggiare nelle strade vicine. Come regalo, hanno dato le ferrovie delle casse e una carta video di noleggio nella macchina in basso. L'hotel piscina non era utilizzato. L'acqua nelle bottiglie dell'hotel anche quando il sistema era stato fatto. Se stai cercando una opzione di risparmio in Honolulu – Io consiglio.

Park Shore è stato un ottimo hotel. Letteralmente si cammina fuori la porta camminando 100 piedi e attraversando la strada e si è sulla spiaggia Waikiki. Le camere sono grandi ma la camera con una vista parziale è stata fantastica. Rimaniamo lì due volte la notte prima della crociera e una notte dopo. Con una splendida vista sulla spiaggia di Diamond Head e Waikiki. Il secondo piano ha un ristorante che aveva il 10% di distanza se si rimaneva a Park Shores. Un po 'di cibo prezioso ma grande. La piscina è situata sul terzo piano che era grande. Acqua e caffè liberi nel lobby. ABC magazzino vicino alla porta. Cibo, regali, bevande. Perfetta posizione perfetto prezzo.
