Hotel 4 stelle a Dublino

Questo potrebbe essere un elogio ingiustificato, ma uscivamo da una situazione di merda con Airbnb. Questo posto era fantastico. Lo staff è stato super disponibile. Un ringraziamento speciale a Gisele che è apparsa magicamente quando abbiamo avuto problemi e li ha fatti sparire. A questo punto del nostro viaggio eravamo abituati a vedere le cose andare male e lei ha gestito il mio gruppo alla perfezione con professionalità e gentilezza. È un po' fuori mano rispetto a tutta l'azione della città, ma nel complesso lo consiglierei.

Un po' fuori dal centro città, ma c'è una fermata del tram fuori dall'hotel che porta in città in 15 minuti. La camera è pulita ma un po' piccola. Ho prenotato per un letto singolo, ma mi è stata assegnata una camera con due letti. Avrei preferito un letto singolo per avere più spazio. Nel complesso è comunque un ottimo hotel. Consigliato.

The hotel is very close to the public transportation and the mall which is one of the biggest in Dublin In addition the cinema with updated movies Restaurants are nearby as well I would recommend the hotel for visitors I will book it when I have a trip to Dublin

We were greeted by friendly staff member when we got there ( dark haired lady) who said it was too early to check in but we could leave our bags with her and she said to try around 2pm as we got there just after 1pm due to an early morning flight. The room was very clean and spacious, exactly as it looked in the photos advertised and the apartment was definitely soundproof. The location was easy to find and walking distance to the city centre. We didn't have any issues during our stay apart from the room was a little too warm and the air con system didn't blow out much cold air. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend or visit again ! Natalia and Nicholas

I decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

Non ho trovato difetti al Metro Hotel. Abbiamo fatto il check-in in ritardo. Ho chiamato in anticipo. Molto disponibile. Il personale è adorabile alla reception e al ristorante. Facile accesso al parcheggio Holiday Blue. Ci tornerei sicuramente e lascerei lì l'auto.

Hotel molto confortevole, a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro, camere ampie e molto confortevoli, colazione irlandese a buffet e molto tranquillo. All'inizio avevo dei dubbi per la vicinanza del treno ma senza problemi non si sente. Soddisfazione totale e dalla fermata dell'autobus Dublin Georges Quay Ulster Bank, ci vogliono circa 10 minuti a piedi.

Il Bonnington è solitamente il mio hotel di riferimento a Dublino, tuttavia il soggiorno precedente e quello attuale mi hanno spinto a cercare un altro hotel in futuro. Il personale, come sempre, è stato eccezionale, tuttavia la nostra camera è stata erroneamente chiamata alla reception alle 5 del mattino (e in un soggiorno precedente siamo stati svegliati nel cuore della notte da un falso allarme antincendio, quindi una notte di sonno completo non è una garanzia). La ​​cosa più frustrante è il degrado generale dell'hotel. Le camere sono piuttosto piccole, quindi per il prezzo elevato si paga in realtà per i servizi. I piccoli inconvenienti, come i mobili vecchi e le sedie in pelle che si scrostavano e si scrostavano, non sono stati un grosso problema, solo un leggero fastidio. Tuttavia, la vasca/doccia perdeva ovunque quando veniva utilizzata dalla base della vasca e lasciava il pavimento fradicio, il bagno turco era fuori servizio e non ne siamo stati informati al momento della prenotazione o addirittura dopo, e l'affollamento della piscina e di altre strutture a causa di persone esterne all'hotel con abbonamenti ai centri ricreativi che occupavano l'intera vasca idromassaggio e la sauna contemporaneamente in gruppi individuali era frustrante. La camera era anche estremamente calda e l'aria condizionata era molto rumorosa, pur non facendo molto per rinfrescare la stanza. Non c'era niente di particolarmente deprimente, tuttavia se si pagano più di 200 euro per una notte, ci si aspetterebbe almeno un soggiorno nella media. Il principale punto a favore è stata la cordialità e la gentilezza del personale.

Penso che sarà un bel soggiorno una volta terminata la ristrutturazione, ma aspetta fino ad allora. Quando abbiamo prenotato inizialmente, la prenotazione era per l'Hard Rock Hotel. Circa una settimana e mezza prima del mio arrivo, NYX ha acquisito l'edificio. Non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna notifica da nessuna delle due aziende. L'hotel era leggermente obsoleto e stava subendo gli inizi della ristrutturazione. Il personale sembrava essere stato assunto da NYX e non aveva familiarità con l'hotel o era composto da ex dipendenti che non avevano familiarità con le politiche della nuova direzione. Ad esempio, la serratura manuale a catena sulla mia porta era stata disattivata in entrambe le nostre camere e il personale alla reception non sembrava capire come fosse successo. Mi hanno spostato immediatamente in una stanza con una serratura manuale funzionante, ma non sembravano capire perché sentissi il bisogno di averne una in quanto donna single nella stanza e mi hanno assicurato che il personale avrebbe rispettato la mia privacy. Anche la persona nell'altra stanza nella nostra prenotazione era disabile ma non voleva preoccuparsi di traslocare. Il giorno dopo, le pulizie hanno fatto irruzione nella sua stanza senza aspettare una risposta al suo bussare. La persona dentro stava appena finendo di vestirsi. A parte questo, sono solo piccole cose che non sono ancora state risolte nel cambio di gestione. Ad esempio, i loro scanner per tessere nelle camere e negli ascensori sembrano nuovi e ancora pignoli, e la persona alla reception non aveva letto la politica sulla lavanderia sui tagliandi della lavanderia NYX nelle camere. I tagliandi specificavano che sarebbe tornato entro le 18:00 se ritirato entro le 8:00, ma lei ha detto che potrebbe essere il giorno dopo. Mi ha anche fatto portare la biancheria alla reception quando il tagliando diceva che sarebbe stata ritirata. Il personale è stato davvero fantastico e quando gliel'ho fatto notare ho ricevuto la lavanderia in giornata; sembrava un nuovo malinteso della gestione. In generale, consiglierei di soggiornare qui dopo che avranno avuto la possibilità di sistemarsi e ristrutturare. Stavano già iniziando a rimuovere le decorazioni dell'Hard Rock e sospetto che rifaranno anche i vecchi tappeti e le pareti dai colori vivaci. Dal momento che non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna notifica sulla nuova gestione e sulla ristrutturazione, non sono sicuro che ce ne sarà una anche su quello.

My husband and I had been planning this trip to Dublin for quite some time. And when we found this beautiful boutique hotel online, we were so excited. As soon as we arrived And checked in, there was a lot going on in the lobby area, so it was a little overwhelming. We saw a lady at the desk, but we weren’t sure that she actually worked there because she didn’t greet us. Didn’t even look our way. It seemed like she had a general disinterest or disdain for us being there. I asked, “Is this the front desk to the hotel?” To which she responded in a monotone voice, “Yes.” I was shocked that this was the first impression of the hotel that we were getting. What made it worse was that my husband was told that we needed to put a card on hold and he proceeded to tap his card thinking that it was like all the other places we had been to in Ireland. But it didn’t work. Several times he tapped it and it showed nothing. He asked the lady, “does your tap work? Do you have tap?” To which she replied a curt, “no.” Mind you, she was standing there the entire time and could see the entire situation. This interaction was such a bummer, and this made our short trip to Dublin feel a little sour.  To be honest, not all of the stuff was like that morning. We woke up to get a coffee downstairs, and the gentleman that works at the coffee bar was very warm. A young Spanish speaking man. He was absolutely amazing; patient and willing to answer any questions About the items on the menu And the different pastries available.  Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag. It had a very chic vibe but outside of that lovely gentleman, their customer service can definitely improve!
