Hotel 4 stelle a Glasgow

Abbiamo un grande giorno all'hotel Native. La posizione è sorprendente. C'è abbastanza spazio nell'hotel per entrambi non sentirci come ci siamo sopra l'uno all'altro. La cucina è bella. Usiamo la lavatrice due volte e questo è stato un'ottima comodità per avere all'hotel. Mi consiglierei molto! 

L'hotel è stato perfetto dal accogliente staff di ricezione all'arrivo al colazione la mattina seguente. La stanza era immacolata, non nuova e brillante, ma decorata con buona qualità con attrezzature, accessori e mobili. Tutte le basi, letto, doccia, toletta e bacino lavoravano e si sono svolte con superfluo piombo. Letto, coperte, fogli e cuscini erano insensibili, spugnati, e la materna era molto comoda. Molto spazio, ferro e tavolo, asciugacapelli e frigo. Il servizio per colazione era insolito efficace per un grande hotel. Sapevano esattamente come affrontare un servizio per colazione occupato. Buffet per bevande e articoli freddi, servizio per cucinato. Il colazione scozzese completo mi ha tenuto a andare tutto il giorno. Tornerò certamente a questo hotel.

We had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre. Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade. This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub. The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry. The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night. There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.

Ho apprezzato molto il mio soggiorno in questo hotel. La camera era impeccabile e si percepiva l'impegno del personale addetto alle pulizie nel mantenere standard elevati. Ho apprezzato anche la spaziosità della camera, che ha reso il soggiorno più rilassante e confortevole. L'unico piccolo inconveniente è stata la mancanza di pantofole, accappatoio e dentifricio in camera. Sono piccoli dettagli, ma fanno la differenza e sono solitamente apprezzati dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio. Nel complesso, ho avuto un'esperienza molto piacevole e ci tornerei volentieri.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Il servizio era il livello successivo, con noi avremmo un taxi all'esterno dell'hotel e un membro del personale che usciva per mettere un ombrello su di noi. L'hotel è stato probabilmente il più pulito che abbiamo fatto con la prenotazione della stanza dirigente lo spazio nella stanza è molto grande, gli specchi sono eccellenti insieme alla doccia che sta piovendo e ha anche la testa normale. I’d 100% book a room with a complimentary mini bar since they don’t just re-fill the drinks the re-fill the snacks. You must try the food as well being one of the best breakfast we’ve had, along with room service we ordered a burger that was to die for. Una delle nostre memorie preferite sarà nel salone di fumo/bar esterno a Glasgow ascoltando la pioggia mentre involto in lingotti sotto luci riscaldate fumando un vino di sigaretta fino che ha creato l'atmosfera perfetta per rilassarsi e rilassarsi. Hanno anche messo il tuo letto e il tuo letto e tutto per esattamente come ti piace sinceramente questo hotel è il vero affare.

I feel bad about this review as the staff were very friendly but it wasn’t a good stay. First of all I asked about parking and they told me they would validate parking if I used the Cambridge Street car park around the corner. This turned out to be closed due to road works and I ended up driving around one-way systems for 20+ minutes first trying to get in, and then trying to find an alternative spot. The TV in my room didn’t work and I heard another guest complaining about the same thing.  The shower didn’t have hot water at 7.30am! I left it running for ages and it barely even got to lukewarm.  Also, there was no kettle. I think this tipped me over the edge.

We booked the wrong date for our stay and didn't realise until arrival. The amazing Kathleen sorted everything for us. What an asset to the Crowne Plaza she is. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of it and helping us have such a lovely stay.
