Hotel con colazione a Glasgow

L'hotel è stato perfetto dal accogliente staff di ricezione all'arrivo al colazione la mattina seguente. La stanza era immacolata, non nuova e brillante, ma decorata con buona qualità con attrezzature, accessori e mobili. Tutte le basi, letto, doccia, toletta e bacino lavoravano e si sono svolte con superfluo piombo. Letto, coperte, fogli e cuscini erano insensibili, spugnati, e la materna era molto comoda. Molto spazio, ferro e tavolo, asciugacapelli e frigo. Il servizio per colazione era insolito efficace per un grande hotel. Sapevano esattamente come affrontare un servizio per colazione occupato. Buffet per bevande e articoli freddi, servizio per cucinato. Il colazione scozzese completo mi ha tenuto a andare tutto il giorno. Tornerò certamente a questo hotel.

Grande posizione, check-in gratuito, prezzo eccellente per appartamento a due camere. Buona cucina - microonde, forno, tostapane, caldaia, caffè, lavastoviglie- e quantità ragionevoli di cucina, cucina, tumbler, bicchieri di vino, lavaggio liquido ecc. E' bello avere una zona separata con divano e TV. Dormivo abbastanza bene, ma i letti e soprattutto le mutandine erano molto fermi, di solito ho 3 mutandine, ma spesso 1 qui era sufficiente. Il principale negro era che avevamo una stanza accessibile, anche se non richiesto, ma comprendiamo che la politica dell'hotel è quella di assegnarle quando necessario e sentito anche qualcun altro che era deluso. Il problema è che se sei piedi alti la bassa altezza dello specchio del bagno, il bagno e le fisse rendono le cose difficile da gestire facilmente.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Il personale dell'hotel è assolutamente carino e molto utile.. Mi sentivo molto benvenuto e soprattutto Fraser, Louise e David mi hanno sempre riconosciuto e siamo molto personali, chiedendo come era il mio soggiorno. Mi hanno fatto stare confortevole e ho apprezzato la loro cura. Non ho avuto colazione all'hotel e l'ho trovato così deluso che non c'era nessuna caldaia, tè o caffè in camera. Per me, questo è un requisito minimo di comfort se soggiorno in un hotel con asciugamani, ecc. Ho trovato anche la mia stanza leggermente clinica, senza tappeto e senza sedia, a parte una sedia piegata, che mi sentiva molto di base e il riscaldamento era alto e non sempre accendeva. Penso che se fosse disponibile una caldaia, con la preparazione di tè e caffè e almeno una ruggine sul pavimento, avrei dato una migliore valutazione.

While I can’t say I fully enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton, that may partly be because we had just come from a really lovely hotel in Aberdeen, so my expectations were quite high, particularly regarding the housekeeping standards, given the hotel’s reputation and heritage. Unfortunately, the cleaning service and general room upkeep felt somewhat lacking during our stay. That said, it was still a good stay overall. The reception staff were fantastic, very professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was decent as well, although we were unable to try many of the buffet options due to personal preferences and faith-based dietary restrictions. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Glasgow.

Great location, super close to city centre and very convenient. Staff members are always helpful and super friendly. On my final night there was a storm in Scotland and staff was super helpful with trying to see if they can book me for one extra night just in case if trains don’t run the next day :) really happy with the service. Breakfast has good selection! Room is okay, the AC seemed a bit old and broken but still works, temperature in the room is fine!

Pulizia senza spot con tutto per un soggiorno confortevole. Un po' lontano dal centro che significava che era tranquillo ma piuttosto passeggiata al centro. Sicuramente restarebbe di nuovo. Il colazione di sabato era davvero buono, con tubo caldo con molta scelta. Domenica mattina il colazione era quasi freddo, bacon e salsa secca e cotta.Allo stesso tempo, quindi non c'era scusa. Li abbiamo lasciati sapere all'epoca

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and booked a taxi for us early in the morning to the airport and checked to see if recent roadworks were finished. The room was great and restaurant had lovely meals. This is a great place to stay in Glasgow.

Ho dormito benissimo e anche se si trova vicino a una strada trafficata abbiamo dormito bene, il personale è stato molto gentile durante tutto il soggiorno. Il personale della reception la mattina mi ha sentito dire che avevo bisogno di un buon caffè e mi ha portato nella sala della colazione per prendere un caffè dalla macchina 😀 lo consiglio vivamente.
