Non posso più amare questo hotel! Servizio dolce e personale, migliore dimostrazione dell'ospitalità sud-asiatica! La stanza era spaziale, pulita e ben mantenuta! L'equipaggio era molto professionale e mi ha aiutato con il trasporto e la comunicazione! Sono felice di vedermi indietro ogni notte, che mi ha fatto sentire così benvenuto! Il catering è davvero buono e consiglio il colazione srilancana - non riesco a trovare il gusto di rotti più di quello! Sono stato a tanti hotel, e nessuno mi ha mai offerto una buona ospite prima - il professionalismo + il contatto umano! Io li amo davvero!

The Good The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture. The Bad The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The Ugly Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort. Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

Вчера останавливалась в отеле в Канди — и это было одно из самых тёплых и душевных размещений за всё моё путешествие. У меня было позднее заселение — около 21:00 — и, несмотря на это, меня спокойно дождались, встретили и сразу окружили заботой. Управляющий отеля лично меня принял: предложил горячий чай, что было особенно ценно после долгой дороги — я замёрзла и очень устала. Этот чай был просто невероятный, а само отношение — как будто приехала в гости, а не просто в отель. Заселение прошло быстро и комфортно, в номере было уютно, спокойно и приятно находиться. Атмосфера в отеле очень дружелюбная — чувствуется, что здесь действительно заботятся о гостях. Я отлично выспалась и по-настоящему отдохнула. Утром меня бесплатно угостили кофе и предложили завтрак. Ещё удалось познакомиться с интересными и приятными людьми, которые тоже там жили — получилось очень живое и тёплое общение. Отдельный плюс — потрясающие виды на весь город: панорама просто шикарная. Да, отель расположен не совсем рядом с центром, но я на байке, поэтому цена и качество полностью это компенсируют. С удовольствием рекомендую это место — если хотите уюта, заботы и человеческого отношения 🤍

Would stay at this premises again. Originally told that room did not come with AC (No remote in room) or Wi Fi. The Wi Fi was clearly stated in the booking and this was later provided as well as a remote when challenged about this. Room was modern and spacious, bed was comfortable with good quality linen. No fridge or kettle in the room. Room was off a well furnished common room and could potentially be a problem if other guests stay and are a little too loud, if you are an early to bed type.

Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast. However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier. Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap. The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing. Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special. A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place. Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

Il tempo di soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, e non potevo essere più impressionato dal livello di servizio e ospitezza che abbiamo ricevuto. La squadra era incredibilmente utile nel organizzare il trasporto e suggerire luoghi di visita, e ci consigliarono di partecipare alla Processione della Reliquia dentale e di visitare un'acquafalla, che si è rivelata la più incredibile che abbia mai visto. La loro conoscenza locale ha davvero migliorato la nostra esperienza. Quando il nostro camion ci ha lasciati in mezzo, il personale dell'hotel è venuto a prenderci in tuk-tuk. Il personale è stato costantemente amabile e accogliente, rendendoci benvenuti e apprezzati per tutta la nostra permanenza. Grazie per l'esperienza!

The room is large and clean with the strong air con. The staff are helpful and friendly. For the location, there are many restaurant nearby and there are many options that we can choose or ordering the food through Pickme.

酒店非常新淨，冷氣很足，熱水也很快，風景非常優美，看着可以發呆一整天。餐廳食物不錯，咖喱雞是我在斯里蘭卡吃過最好味的，不過建議詢問當天有什麼食物提供，提供用餐時間，好讓他們準備，因為只有一兩位服務員，其中一位非常友善，可是英文不太好，但是都很熱心幫忙，另外一位會whatspp提供幫助，英文非常好，是可以信賴的人。 唯一要注意是沒有電梯，而且沒有風筒，個人用品也建議自己帶備。中間亦試過突然停電一小段時間，但是很快會回復，不會影響正常生活，且酒店大門沒有上鎖。另外我住了兩晚，可是服務員沒有收拾房間，而且第一天在洗手間看到一隻很大隻的蜘蛛，不過這是住在郊外的代價，想要看到優美的風景，便有機會會遇上野生昆蟲。 由市中心上酒店的路途風景優美，酒店步行15分鐘左右有小段瀑布，非常優美，有興趣可以叫篤篤司機停低拍照欣賞。另外留意因為居住比較偏遠，所以附近不會有餐廳，建議在市中心補給才回酒店。 整體還是非常推薦，但是要有心理準備不會準時區般這麼方便，但是值得的。
