Hotel 3 stelle a Yufu

Super pleased with our stay at Enokiya!! 100% thumbs up!! I will definitely return if I visit Yufuin again! 1) we reached early, and we managed to check in early. 2) location is superb, very near the yufuin streets. 3) hosts are very friendly and can speak English! 4) the rooms are very clean and extremely spacious! 5) we extended one room and forgot to return the non-extension room key. Host did not penalize but only just dropped us a gentle reminder. 6) breakfast is a very delicious and wholesome Japanese spread. 7) onsen area is clean and spacious. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, Enokiya Ryokan. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much!

This must be the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in Japan. It is a traditional Ryokan with 3 Private Onsen available for reservation upon arrival. The scenery and ambience around the hotel were peaceful & very gorgeous. The mountain view from our room was fantastic. Besides, it took less than 10 mins walking distance to the famous Kinrik Lake! 😌🎐 Each guest could pick a 👘 for free too. The services was great and the staffs were attentive too. We stored all our biggest luggages at Yufuin Station and only brought along light luggage because it is far away from station. Gentle reminder for the guest to book a taxi at least one day earlier before your departure. By the way, it was a lucky morning when it started to snow during our ryokan checked out! It made the Ryokan looked even more amazing! ❄️ The only regret was breakfast and dinner were both unavailable during reservation and there is no ryokan contact was available before arrival. It would be 100% if I were to taste the すきやき, Sukiyaki! 🥩🍲

Our experience at Sanso Tanaka was unforgettably relaxing and comfortable!  Our room was a spacious two single bed room, which also has an enclosed toilet and a sink area.  Our room has a stunning view of the mountains surrounding Yufuin, which made the ambiance of our stay immersive and exquisite.  The owners operate this quaint ryokan, and they are wonderful people.  We can see the dedication and care they have put into the ryokan.  Their breakfast bento is a highlight and a great way to start your day.  It is delicious, nutritious, flavorful, and will keep you full for your day of exploration!   About their 3 private onsens... love it!  They have 3 private onsens, perfect for waking up or winding down.  I will let you experience that for yourself without spoiling too much.  Towels, toiletries, robes, and a hair dryer are provided.   I think that this ryokan (hotel accomodation) is the best considering the value and amenities.  I would definitely stay again.  Until next time, Sanso Tanaka!

Staying at this hot spring hotel during cherry blossom season created wonderful memories for my family and me. The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service—just a quick call from the station, and within 10 minutes, a car arrives to take guests directly to the hotel. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. Upon noticing that my father was using a cane, they kindly arranged a room for us without stairs, ensuring a more comfortable stay. The accommodation was spacious, featuring a private onsen and a massage chair, which made the experience even more relaxing. Since the hotel is near the mountains, there were a few insects, but it wasn’t a major issue. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and in the morning, guests could get fresh milk with breakfast. The hotel’s location was ideal—just a short distance from the shopping street and Lake Kinrin, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we truly enjoyed the experience.

Ero legato a una stanza con una sorgente termale privata. A partire dal 9 dicembre, non c'era spazio per lavarmi all'interno, ma c'era una sorgente termale privata all'esterno. Ho pensato: come posso lavarmi? Deve essere freddo... ma sono riuscito a lavarmi grazie alla sorgente termale. Dato che era una sorgente termale privata all'interno del ghiaccio, ci andavo più di 3 volte al giorno!!! Mi vergognavo di andare al grande bagno pubblico e lavarmi, quindi mi sono goduto il bagno privato. Tutti i 60.000 passi che avevo fatto in due giorni e mezzo sono spariti! Il Kaiseki era ordinario 💜 Il servizio di prelievo dalla stazione è attivo fino alle 17:00 al massimo ed è disponibile ogni ora! Essendo in periferia, bisogna prendere un taxi o una navetta per spostarsi! (Uber non è assolutamente disponibile. Se state facendo un tour in autobus e scendete a Yufuin, non prenotate questo alloggio! Io sono sceso a metà e ci sono riuscito!) L'orario del pasto è alle 18:00, quindi se non vi registrate prima, non potrete mangiare 😂 Tuttavia, c'è un bus navetta che parte dall'alloggio, quindi potete raggiungere la stazione di Yufuin relativamente facilmente! Gli orari sono 9:00, 9:30 e 10:00. Dato che molte persone partono a fine giornata alle 10:00, consiglio di prendere l'autobus delle 9:30, che è il più spazioso (10-15 minuti per raggiungere la stazione di Yufuin). Sarebbe una buona idea lasciare i bagagli alla stazione di servizio e fare un giro per un delizioso ristorante all'aperto! + Il personale è molto cordiale. (C'era una ragazza dello staff che parlava coreano mentre spiegavo il kaiseki)

Is a good experience, I liked the Japanese style of it, the location is good, away from the Main Street for around 5mins walking distance. There is a local supermarket near by. staffs can’t speak other languages but Japanese we used Google translate which worked well. I stayed 2 nights, breakfast and dinner were very good too.

Era così tranquillo e le fonti private calde erano buone. Mi piacevano i cibi e la varietà e la composizione erano buone. Vorrei tornare la prossima volta.

第一次到由布院，謝謝雅格拉為我們留下美好的回憶…… 先說優點…，即便返回台灣已經2週，仍對雅格拉和由布院念念不忘！服務人員親切，其中有一位外籍工作人員 英文非常流利！溝通很順利。房間空間雖然不大，但保持著日式古樸的氛圍，我個人很喜歡！連保險箱都還是木製鑰匙鎖！很有趣！家裡長輩也很融入。總共房間不多，因此還保有私密感，很驚喜！溫泉的部分 因為天氣太冷，房間內露天的湯池我沒有嘗試，但大眾湯池還不錯！最最最重要的是 他們家的餐點太優秀了！ 我們續住兩晚，每天都能品嚐到不同款式 精緻又美味的餐點！第一天是燒肉，第二天火鍋，肉品、烤魚、日式涼菜 完全沒有雷（納豆除外，只是不習慣而已）！連長輩都讚不絕口！走的時候買了好幾包他們特製的味增回家！乾煎魚排的時候搭配 太好吃了！！所以每天最期待的就是用餐時間！餐點是我住過的溫泉旅館中的top！給予五星評價！ 優點說完來說缺點，由於我們有包車，所以交通于我們而言並不是問題，但如果是自己搭大衆交通出行，可能會比較不便，在山上的位置距離由布院鬧區有段距離，開車大概5～10分鐘。其次房間內沒有提供飲水，我們每天早餐時間都會拿著水壺請工作人員幫我們裝滿再帶回。最後就是大衆湯池的部分，由於我們一家有5位女性，人數較多，都會乾脆一起去洗浴，發現的問題也較多！例如 梳理的地方只有一台吹風機！沒有提供毛巾，必須從房間帶，還要再帶回去；沒有提供飲水，泡澡結束後口渴就回房間再補充水分；沒有暖氣，所以一出浴場非常冷！穿衣服要盡快，我們有長輩、有嬰兒要照顧，更加要速度……甚至還有日本人在裡面使用手機！這個我真的很不解！只能用蹩腳的日語請她收起來，這是連我們都知道的常識……所以我們後來就決定晚一點再去大眾池，大概8：00過後就幾乎包場，順利了一些，也留下很特別的回憶！ 以上是分享，如果下次還是單獨自由行，還會想回到雅格拉，但如果有長輩和小寶寶，建議還是選擇浴室在房間內的比較方便！總歸來說還是很值得的！謝謝雅格拉親切的招待！

Perche' siamo viaggiatori internazionali abbiamo portato bagagli più grandi, quindi è difficile portare 3 piani senza ascensore. L'hotel assicurarsi che tutti hanno la possibilità di prenotare per un onsen privato. C'è anche una slot che è pubblico, quindi ho bisogno di usare il 2x onsen che mi piace davvero. La posizione è vicino alla stazione che rende facile viaggiare. Ci sono stati molti Dos e non sono stati trasmessi durante il check-in.

The accommodation is beautiful, the surrounding atmosphere is good, and there is an onsen hot spring to soak in. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.
