RRowell SantiagoI recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation.
One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the toilet and bathroom area — exceptionally clean, modern, and cozy. Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japan’s signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom.
The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots.
If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è vicina a Shinsaibashi e Dotonbori, e Nihonbashi è raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi. È anche un luogo di ritrovo popolare per gite e autobus turistici. Si può anche prendere in considerazione l'idea di prendere l'autobus per l'aeroporto per 5 minuti, quindi il trasporto è molto comodo.
A proposito, se scegliete un condominio, la pulizia verrà effettuata solo una volta ogni 3 giorni.
C'è anche una lavatrice indipendente e utensili da cucina semplici in camera. La funzione di aspirazione dei fumi di cottura è nella media, e il metodo di aspirazione dei fumi di olio è appena accettabile se si frigge solo leggermente.

UUtente ospiteLa camera era molto pulita e il personale cordiale. La biancheria da letto era morbida e ho dormito benissimo. Si parla spesso delle dimensioni della camera, ma io ho portato una valigia da 29 litri e un bagaglio a mano. L'ho sistemato su delle grucce e l'ho appoggiato su un portapacchi, ed era più che sufficiente per due persone. Se desiderate una camera più grande, vi consiglio di soggiornare in un hotel. La posizione era ottima, con molti minimarket e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. C'era un supermercato Dotonbori raggiungibile a piedi, quindi era comodo. Oh, e a quanto pare ci sono alcuni membri dello staff coreani. Ne ho incontrati due durante il mio soggiorno e la comunicazione è stata fluida. Non ho potuto fare colazione perché ho dormito troppo, ma è stato comunque un buon posto dove soggiornare. Ho riposato bene.

The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags.
The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key.
Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food.
One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.
Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

E 'stato vicino al famoso Glico uomo. E 'stato anche a piedi di distanza dal Parco e altri grandi negozi. ABC Mart, Uniqlo, Atmos sono vicini. Per quanto riguarda le viaggi di cibo, ci sono molti rami posti intorno. La stazione Namba è a circa 1 km da qui, che può facilmente camminare anche con bagagli, dove si può prendere la linea Nankai all'aeroporto di Kansai. Sì, l'aeroporto è solo un treno di distanza, non c'è bisogno di noleggiare trasferimenti privati costosi.

La signora alla reception è stata davvero carina ha chiacchierato con noi quando ci ha fatto il check-in e ci ha presentato le strutture dell'hotel pulito e ordinato. Io e il mio amico siamo tutti d'accordo nel dire che è molto confortevole. Si trova a solo circa 1 chilometro dalla stazione della metropolitana. Dietro l'angolo c'è la linea 711, comoda per viaggiare e fare shopping.

Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet.
There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day)
Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage
Hotel Room:
We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes
But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything.
Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay
Hotel features:
Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views.
The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free.
The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day.
Staff:
Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful
Overview:
100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

KkahlaiL'Hotel Kansai è sicuramente un hotel che merita più elogi.
Si trova a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Higashi Umeda. Sebbene la camera fosse piccola, era ben attrezzata. Gli ospiti possono procurarsi yukata, pettini, rasoi, articoli da bagno aggiuntivi e anche caffè e acqua fredda alla frutta nella hall. La lavatrice e l'asciugatrice funzionavano bene e i prezzi erano accessibili.
Sebbene la maggior parte del personale della reception non parlasse perfettamente inglese, si è dimostrato molto gentile, paziente e ha fatto del suo meglio per assistervi.
