Hotel 3 stelle a Okayama

This was my second time staying at Abest Grande Hotel, and once again, the experience was excellent. The service is extremely good — all staff are very polite, welcoming, and always greet guests with a genuine smile. We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a very nice touch. The staff were also very helpful in calling a restaurant on our behalf to assist with making a reservation, which we truly appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it a great base for exploring the city. Overall, the hospitality made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The main draw for me was the rooftop onsen; it’s not fancy but it is classic, which is good enough for me. A simple sauna, outdoor onsen, indoor one, cold plunge bath and a shower area. The room itself was compact but efficient and check in/out process was fairly simple. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Okayama Shinkansen station so it was quite convenient to travel to other sites like Kurashiki Bikan

Attendiamo con ansia futuri miglioramenti e un servizio di qualità ancora superiore.

C'erano molti servizi gratuiti e ci siamo divertiti con il karaoke e il ping-pong. 🏓 Avevamo l'intera struttura a nostra completa disposizione, quindi potevamo divertirci con gli amici. Quando abbiamo preso in prestito caricabatterie e forbici, il personale ci ha sempre accolto con un sorriso, il che ci ha reso molto felici. Anche il bagno era molto pulito e confortevole. Mi piacerebbe sicuramente usarlo di nuovo quando tornerò a Okayama.

The hotel is opposite the okayama train station and staff is friendly. The luggage can be leaved after checkout for 12 hours. The room smells stale, and the toilet is very small with a-bit musty. The breakfast have varieties with rice, fruits, and drinking.

L'area comune al primo piano era piena dei rumori dei camerieri che chiacchieravano con gli altri clienti. (Mi sembrava di essere lì da un po'.) Occupavano anche i grandi tavoli. Per due notti consecutive, sono stato costretto ad ascoltare le loro chiacchiere al primo piano. Il letto era vecchio e faceva rumore quando mi giravo. Era così rumoroso che non riuscivo nemmeno a muovermi nel sonno.

Il letto era comodo. Il colazione era incluso, e vi hanno permesso di indicare se avreste intenzione di fare colazione lì il giorno dopo sulla TV per evitare la spreco di cibo. Bella pratica sostenibile. Il gusto era così, ma la scelta era piuttosto limitata. Non posso aspettare troppo, dato che si tratta di un negoziato, ovviamente. Situazione vicino alla stazione JR Okayama, quindi è stato conveniente. Ma i treni di carico erano molto rumorosi a tardi di notte e al mattino. Forse non è la scelta migliore per coloro che sono sensibili al suono. L'esperienza complessiva è stata comunque soddisfacente.

Had good dinner , dinner last order at 830pm with 2 sets of choices , breakfast start at 630am buffet style, coffee machine out of order, female onsen need to get key from reception counter and use another lift to go up , washing machine is 300 yen and dryer 100yen , able to communicate with simple English. Near to Aeon mall. Okayama JR take East exit

Perfect location, main station close by, convenience store just a couple minutes away. The room was also not too bad, though it wasn't entirely clean. Some dust haven't been cleaned, in mostly unnoticable places though, like really high up or behind the TV. And even though we haven't met any staff members it wasn't that hard to check in or check out. Though there was difficulty of getting inside the building, as we didn't receive the door code through email. Good thing there were some helpful residents of the hotel who helped us to get inside. Either way final score would be 8.5/10
