Fantastico
NNussaThe room was so big and convenient. We had the problem about the air conditioner wasn't working that good and staff bringing us an extra fan. I love how they separated the kitchen zone that we can cook and eat outside the bedroom. The vibe of the villa was good and natural.

AAllgoOhana has some good things about it, and could be a good retreat with some investment. I booked a Deluxe room for one night and checked out the Apartment because I wanted to stay there long-term (thanks to the gym proximity), but the A/Cs were very weak, so I couldn't extend my stay into the Apartment, and the Deluxe room was too small and uncomfortable for laptop work. Pros: - Away from the street and pretty quiet for now (though there's a construction site right next to it, see rooftop photo) - Nice bamboo-lined entrance after you open the gate with the security code - More comfortable beds than in 8/9 other places I've stayed in Bali so far. Not Tempurpedic or anything that fancy, but softer (perhaps a memory foam topped over a coil mattress). - Only 5 minutes walk to the best gym in the area (”WRONG” gym) - The room was clean, the towels smelled very nice, but the glasses looked dirty - Pretty good light blocking curtains - Insect mesh on the windows! This is such a common-sense feature, but it was the first time I saw in Bali, after staying at 5 hotels/resorts, 1 villa, and 3 rooms at PARQ Ubud - Nice (for the area) rooftop views, with beautiful sunsets - Helpful staff assisted with carrying luggage - There's a small communal kitchen with a microwave and utensils you can use - Nice (but unpopulated) rooftop bar area Cons: - The street entrance is a construction war zone, with garbage and everything (see photos) - Not just the A/C in my room, but both split A/C units in the Apartment, were VERY weak (so 3 units in total). The A/C in my small room only managed to drop the temperature by 2.5C (4.5F) during the 2 hours of running at maximum (loudest) fan speed (28.6 -> 26.2 / 83.5F -> 79F, see digital thermometer/CO2 sensor photos). Staff told me they could call engineering to take a look, but the facilities/appliances were old (the subtext being, don't have much hope). - The chair was more of a torture device than a chair. Who in their right mind would buy anything like that except perhaps for a ”DO NOT DESIGN FURNITURE LIKE THIS” exhibit? - Only one power outlet for the desk/chair area, occupied with the WiFi router, so I had to plug my laptop into the bathroom power outlet - No water provided. Staff told me to go to a minimart. The closest one walking north was Circle K, and the walk is the typical stressful walk in Canggu, with scooters and cars parked on the sidewalk, construction all over the place, and the frequent lack of pavement - The place was advertised as a coliving on Colivings, but there were maybe a total of 2 other guests there, and no sense of community whatsoever. - The floating beds looked dirty (see photos) - Due to the height of the pool, it's only exposed to sunshine until about 2pm - The Apartment has an odd choice of 4 chairs around a table instead of a couch, and no microwave or toaster or blender in the kitchen. Good light blocking curtains in the bedroom though, and its view is relatively private when the curtains are pulled open.

UUtente ospiteThe first impression was negative. When I arrived, the reception was so noisy that the staff couldn't hear me at all. The reception area is open and located right next to a noisy road. You can also hear the noise of construction in the area. I hoped the rooms were quieter. The hotel is located in a kinda gorge near the river, the rooms are below the reception level. You can also hear the road and construction in the room. I was shown to my room, but the air conditioning remote control didn't work, it was stuck at 25 degrees. 4 or 5 staff came to my room trying to fix it, they were talking to each other, the door was open, the noise from outside was unbearable. After 2 hours a technician came and fixed the remote control. I asked if it was possible to cancel the reservation, I was advised to call the manager, the manager said that he was waiting for confirmation from the site, the site claimed that he was waiting for confirmation from the “partner”. After more than an hour of correspondence with support, I gave up and stayed at the hotel. I lived in room 255, above the room there was something like a terrace where there were tables. Starting from Saturday, I woke up at 8 in the morning from the grinding of furniture that was being dragged upstairs, although I always sleep with earplugs, there was zero sound insulation, you could hear every sound from the roof, for 3 days it was very noisy, until 1 in the morning tables and chairs were constantly moving. The location is average, close to the center by transport, there are cafes within walking distance. Pros: nice design, good condition of furniture and walls, comfortable bed, normal air conditioning, fairly large area, daily cleaning with replenishment of tea, coffee and water on request. The bathroom has toiletries, including even hair conditioner. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower, the water was hot. Employees try to be polite. The room had its own router, Wi-Fi worked reliably. The pool is quite nice, beautiful garden and nature around. Cons: noise, stains on textiles here and there, slightly shabby walls, view of the wall (although it is called a view of the garden), the restaurant has a very limited choice of dishes and only local black coffee, only cash is accepted. There is a feeling of abandonment, perhaps now is not the season. The hotel has a spa and a shop, but they don't seem to be open. I have doubts about security, anyone can go down the elevator, there is no camera near my room. Perhaps the employees keep an eye on the visitors, but they spend more time on their phones and picking their noses. Sorry, but literally. I saw it myself, unfortunately. There was very little pressure in the shower, and the water drained quickly from the bathtub even with the plug closed. The hygiene shower was leaking, so there was always a puddle around the toilet. There were no towels are the pool for 2 days.

RRAGURAM21During my recent trip to the coastal city, I had the pleasure of staying at The Oceanview Resort, a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a special experience. The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for both relaxation and adventure. Location and Ambiance The first thing that struck me about The Oceanview Resort was its stunning location. Perched on a cliff overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the bay, the hotel boasts panoramic views that are nothing short of breathtaking. The gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore was a constant, soothing companion throughout my stay. The resort is beautifully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, with lush greenery and elegantly landscaped gardens adding to the serene atmosphere. Rooms and Facilities My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could have possibly needed. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room featured large windows that allowed for an abundance of natural light. Waking up to the sight of the ocean every morning was truly magical. The room also came with a modern, well-appointed bathroom, complete with a rainfall shower, premium toiletries, and fluffy towels—everything I needed for ultimate relaxation. The resort's facilities were equally impressive. The outdoor infinity pool, with its stunning ocean view, was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The on-site spa offered a range of rejuvenating treatments, and I indulged in a relaxing massage that left me feeling completely refreshed. For those who enjoy staying active, the resort has a fully equipped gym, and a variety of water sports activities are available on the beach, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Dining Experience Dining at The Oceanview Resort was an absolute highlight. The resort offers several dining options, each with its own unique atmosphere and menu. I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at the beachfront restaurant, where I was treated to a delectable array of local seafood and international dishes. The fresh catch of the day was prepared to perfection, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and making sure every detail of my dining experience was flawless. For breakfast, the resort’s buffet offered a wide range of options, from freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to hot dishes made to order. The morning view of the sun rising over the ocean while sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee was the perfect start to each day. Customer Service One of the standout features of The Oceanview Resort is its exceptional customer service. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a valued guest. The staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering personalized recommendations and accommodating special requests without hesitation. They truly made me feel at home, which added a personal touch to my experience. Conclusion In conclusion, The Oceanview Resort is a top-tier destination that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat, a family vacation, or simply a place to unwind, this resort offers everything you could possibly need for an unforgettable stay. With its unbeatable location, outstanding facilities, and top-notch service, it is truly a place where memories are made. I will certainly be returning the next time I visit the area

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

AAnastasiaGI spent 5 nights at Kose Villas Ubud, and this is one of those places where the setting truly shapes half of the experience. Location & vibe Kose Villas sits right in the middle of rice fields—quiet, lush, and instantly calming. It feels like Ubud suddenly switches to “slow living” mode. The views are unquestionable: absolutely beautiful. If you’re coming for serenity and scenery, this is exactly why you’d stay here. Important note about the access road One thing to keep in mind: getting to the villas involves walking/driving through the rice fields on a narrow path, with a small stream/irrigation canal running alongside. If you’re not a confident rider/driver (especially on a scooter), or if walking is difficult for you, this could be a challenge—particularly in the evening or if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff offer a motorbike transfer to and from the main road. I personally walked every time, and it took about 5–7 minutes at a relaxed pace. It’s a lovely walk—just important to know the setup in advance. The room: airy, high ceilings & a glass wall My standard villa felt genuinely nice: high ceilings, lots of space, and one full glass wall that makes the room feel even more open. I had a unit with a garden view and a small kitchen. I didn’t cook at all, but having a fridge was truly convenient (water, fruit, snacks—anything you want to keep for the next morning). There’s also a kettle, but oddly the only option provided was instant coffee sachets—no tea (a small detail, but in Ubud it feels like tea should be a given). Bathroom & shower The bathroom and shower are standard and fine. The only thing I noticed: the “hot” water felt slightly lukewarm, even at the maximum setting. It didn’t bother me—since the weather was hot, a cooler shower actually felt refreshing. But if you love a truly hot shower, it’s something to note (and perhaps for the hotel to check). What disappointed me A few things kept this from feeling like a fully polished villa stay: • No hair dryer—at all. I asked at reception, and it turns out the hotel simply doesn’t have hair dryers. For this type of stay, that’s a surprising and inconvenient omission. • Not enough lighting in the evening. During the day it’s bright and beautiful, but once the sun sets the room feels quite dim—there aren’t enough lamps for a comfortable evening (reading, working, getting ready). • “Shared” pool, but not really. I was a bit confused to learn the shared pool isn’t shared across the whole property, but only for two units (1 and 2). The place also seemed quite empty during my stay, yet I still wasn’t offered access to the pool. Not a huge deal, but it did feel like a service/communication gap. Overall Overall, I left with a positive impression, mostly thanks to the location: rice fields, quiet, gorgeous views, and a real sense of privacy. It’s a great place for a reset—slow mornings, nature all around, and that “Ubud green” backdrop. That said, if the hotel wants to consistently earn a higher rating, it should improve a few basics: provide hair dryers, add better lighting, communicate more clearly about the pool, and possibly check the water temperature.

UUtente anonimoStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
