Hotel 3 stelle a Eastbourne

Da sette sorelle bianche e bianche, ho scelto questo hotel vicino, parcheggio gratuito, alla reception del negozio è molto entusiasta, entrando nell'impianto della stanza è un po'senza tempo, il letto è troppo morbido La cena è un ristorante thailandese a cinque minuti a piedi raccomandato dalla reception, molto conveniente, Ci sono molte aree tranquille di riposo al primo piano, e la sensazione generale è ancora buona

Fantastic stay! Highly recommend. My partner and I stayed for a night. Arrived rather late and the staff were still up waiting for us. Acknowledged us by name and showed us up to our sea-facing room. Clean, well furnished, minimalist modern and spacious feel. Woke up to a fantastic unblocked sea view in our large window. Breakfast was available to all in the kitchen/ pantry from 7.30-10 with a more than decadent spread of your staples, hot fresh brewed tea and coffee. Minor drawback was the slightly longer walking distance from the city (about 15mins), no toothbrush available, and had I not read up online ahead of time, I’d never be able to find the place as there is (as many others have also mentioned) no clear sign that says “The Halcyon”. So to anyone to follow in our steps, this is honestly a beautiful place to stay. Excellent value for money away from the noise of the town centre, wonderful hospitable staff for a lovely guest experience, delightful & scrumptious brekkie, cosy and clean modernistic rooms & gorgeous views to wake up to. No hassle checking in or out. Just be mindful to look out for the big words that says “HOTEL” and you’re very likely at the right spot. (Checkout photos 1&2) Walk in without fear and be greeted by warm smiles and a fantastic experience all around.

Avoid this place at all costs. The manager is shockingly rude and treats guests with utter disrespect—zero sense of customer service. The mattress was horrendous, like sleeping on springs. This is not a restful stay but a regrettable experience. Eastbourne has better options—don’t waste your money here.

In generale, era una buona esperienza. Il personale era molto bello, e la posizione era grande. L'unico punto di svolta era che non c'era aria condizionata, e aprire la finestra porta i bug. Neanche le pareti erano pronte, quindi mi sono svegliato dai vicini, che parlavano e ridevano alle quattro.

Situato vicino alla spiaggia e al mare di Eastbourne. Solo a circa 30 minuti di auto dai parchi Nord Sisters dove si può completare la passeggiata. Le camere sono ben tenute con belle interieur e buone viste. Tuttavia, il parcheggio può essere difficile, poiché è vicino al mare che è spesso pieno. Doveva parcheggiare nel multistory NCP, ma è a soli 10 minuti a piedi.

Situazione fantastica a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, così alcune camere potrebbero guardare la promenade e la costa. Le camere sono stanche e la decorazione deve essere aggiornata anche se le aree di accoglienza sembrano buone. Le letti e le mutande erano molto confortevoli! Migliore di un soggiorno, quindi un buon sonno notturno. Se poteste guardare oltre la pelle povera, la sterlina di 37 sterline per notte sarà un negozio. Non è la normale qualità o standard che mi aspettavo dalla catena di Best Western. Più una opzione di bilancio. 7 sterline sono per un colazione continentale, così questo è stato declinato. Il check-in è stato rapido e molto utile.Parcheggio gratuito ma limitato fuori di notte ma è necessario ottenere un biglietto (l'hotel può farlo per te per £2.25) a partire dalle 8:00, quindi se vuoi un lieto in, è necessario prenotare e pagare al check-in.

Downside was the size of the room, basically just big enough for a double bed and thats it, it was also very very hot in the room with no fan and a tiny window which barely let a breeze in also the bed wasn't very thick you could feel and hear the springs. TV was very small too, if we'd just been staying 1 or 2 nights I feel we wouldn't of minded too much but for a 4 night stay and the cost as well I expected it to be alot nicer. The towels were changed regularly though and it was very clean, staff were also very accommodating so can't fault them.

La posizione era molto buona, con un conveniente accesso al lato del mare. La pulizia sia della stanza che delle aree comuni era accettabile. La disponibilità e il benvenuto del personale non erano soddisfacenti, non mi è stato detto, né al momento della prenotazione, né durante l'iscrizione, che avevo bisogno di informare il personale se volevo tornare all'hotel dopo mezzanotte. La seconda notte del mio soggiorno, dopo mezzanotte, mi sono ripreso, ma ho trovato chiusa la porta d’ingresso, ho cercato di colpire per circa 30 minuti e ho cercato di contattare ripetutamente la ricezione, ma il numero di telefono della ricezione non è stato risposto. Poiché non potevo accedere, ho dovuto contattare il mio amico e rimanere nel loro alloggio per tutta la notte. Questo è stato molto scomodo e deludente, e credo che gli ospiti dovrebbero essere chiaramente informati delle disposizioni di accesso tardivo della proprietà al momento della prenotazione o del check-in.

We stayed at the Majestic Hotel for one night and got a very good price, as we only needed somewhere to sleep and weren't planning to spend much time there. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the outside of the hotel looks fairly presentable with a few seats at the front to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, things were less impressive once inside. The bar was closed, with signs saying they wouldn't be serving alcohol, and one of the lifts was out of order. The hotel itself feels very dated and is in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and fresh towels were provided, but it was quite tired. The carpet was heavily stained, one bedside cabinet had clearly fallen off the wall at some point and hadn't been replaced, and the ceiling light was hanging down with exposed wires, which was a safety concern. The curtains also looked like they hadn't been updated in decades. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom was extremely small, the sink was cracked, and the shower had a significant build-up of limescale. There was no hairdryer, although basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The biggest positive was the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for the cheapest possible place to sleep in a good location, it does the job. However, I personally wouldn't stay again and would rather pay a little more for a hotel that is more comfortable and better maintained.

Informed hotel twice via trip that I would have to cancel and queried cancellation costs. Received no response so emailed direct. Yet again no response. Received a missed call on the evening I was supposed to have been there and then generic emails the next day informing me of check out time and then one hoping I'd enjoyed my stay! Absolute shambles regarding communication which made me glad I cancelled.
