Hotel 2 stelle a Seogwipo

We had such a warm and memorable stay as a mum travelling with my adult daughter, all thanks to our wonderful host, Mr Doldam and his lovely wife, Sue. Communication was so easy as they speak English well, and they thoughtfully shared helpful tips on places to visit around Jeju, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We accidentally stayed out past 9pm and missed our bus, and our host kindly came to pick us up from the village stop about 10 minutes away—something we truly appreciated. They also helped send us off to the bus stop for our airport transfer, making everything feel smooth and well taken care of. Breakfast was a real treat too—simple and wholesome, especially the homemade bread and tangerine jam 🍊 It truly felt like being welcomed into a home, not just a place to stay. Thank you!

E'tutto bene. La stanza spaziale, pulita, tranquilla intorno è piena. Daniel parla inglese, ha detto tutto in dettaglio, ha sempre avuto il piacere di parlare con lui se si attraversa. Non c'è problema con il parcheggio. È bello camminare intorno al territorio e godere del sole la sera sul balcone. O noleggiare manga e carne di fuoco da soli. Ci è una piscina, ma non riscaldamento. Ci è un CU a 10 minuti a piedi, con il minimo necessario di cibo/bevande. Il bagno è stato semplicemente arredato sul balcone, ma la posizione è conveniente solo quando c'è una macchina (anche se questa è in linea di principio una opzione obbligatoria per l'isola se si desidera visitare diversi luoghi). Grazie a Den e a sua moglie per la settimana di vacanza inspiegabile su Cheju!

Mido Hostel was such a lovely place to stay in Seogwipo. The location is great—close to the Olle Market and waterfalls. The common areas are cozy, and the rooftop is perfect for relaxing. Really creates a special community vibe. The staff were amazing—so kind and helpful with everything. They truly go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and they even include breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to come back!

Il proprietario è molto gentile e, se andate al picco di Seongsan Ilchulbong e al percorso di Seopjikoji, potete scendere proprio all'ingresso del porto di Seongsan, proprio di fronte alla Suhyup Company. Anche i panini che vi offrono per colazione sono davvero deliziosi. Se camminate per circa 10 minuti, troverete un mercato alimentare in centro, quindi non dovrete preoccuparvi del cibo.

Passò una notte nel dormitorio femminile mentre camminava sulla Olle Trail. La posizione è grande, vicino alla pista, fermate di autobus e tre ristoranti, è stato fortunato abbastanza per avere la stanza tutto per me. Non c'era carta da bagno, ma c'erano tessuti nella stanza, quindi era tutto a posto, si erano forniti asciugamani, tovaglioli, pasta dentale, asciugacapelli. Il colazione era grande, cucinato e delizioso, le 8:00 erano perfette per il momento. Ci sono coperte di matrice riscaldate, era necessario e apprezzato!

We have a wonderful stay at Bomulsum. The room is clean and cozy. The host is helpful and kind. We went there for cycling, the trails are scenic and safe. We rented two manual bicycle at a good price from bike rental shop near the hotel. There are many eateries nearby and it is only 10 min walk to Seongsan IIchulbong and Ferry Terminal to Udo island. I will definitely recommend others to stay in Bomulsum.

The location of this hotel is incredible! I literally watched sunset from the comfort of my bed! The hotel itself is quite local and quite humble - simple but clean. The rooms are over 3 floors - the top 2 “floors”are just a façade wall 😅 Parking was convenient and free. Don’t miss having breakfast or an anytime coffee at the adjacent Café the Light - the pastries, the ambience and the views are wonderful and hotel guest get a discount on drinks.

Posizione: Un hotel appena aperto, di soli 2 mesi. Molto vicino alla fermata degli autobus (simi lato come gli autobus che arrivano da Seogwipo, cammina subito dopo il sollevamento e gira a sinistra al primo angolo - meno di 200 m di distanza totale). Seongsan Ilchulbong è a 200 metri da qui, grande se si vuole svegliarsi presto per un salto di sole. Sette -11 è proprio l'opposto della fermata dell'autobus. Albergo pulito con una piccola pantella al lobby dove si può fare caffè, ottenere acqua calda e nuovi asciugamani. E'una bella signora, il proprietario, e'un'amorevole signora.Ero chiusa fuori dalla mia stanza tardi la notte e lei è venuta al mio salvataggio dopo aver chiamato il numero lasciato alla porta della ricezione.

Room comes with a kitchen and a balcony, I never use them though. The room is very old but spacious. When I flushed the toilet the sound of the water sounded like it was gonna explode. The location is great, within walkable distance to Seongsan Ilchulbong. It’s also only 5min drive to the pier so good to go to U-do early in the morning where there is less people. By the time I came back at noon time the pier was packed. It got hot in the room so I plugged in the AC but there was no remote control to turn it on, hence I opened the balcony door instead, was worrying it would get noisy in the morning but it was quiet the next day.

Maybe the hotel was great 10 years ago, but it really needs some maintenance now. The floors show clear signs of water damage, the walls and curtains are stained, and the bedding had several holes. The apartment also felt quite empty.. there were no bedside lamps in the master bedroom, so the only option was to switch the main ceiling light on and off. There were also no luggage racks. The kitchen looked spacious but was barely equipped: just a few plates, one pot, one pan, and minimal cutlery, which felt disproportionate to its size and all the empty cupboards. The apartment itself is very large, which is a plus, but be aware that they may lock doors to unused rooms in your unit if you only booked a one-bedroom suite. This isn’t clearly mentioned during booking. And finally, just a heads-up: you might encounter very large cockroaches. The drainage opening in the master bathroom is so big that they can easily crawl through. That said, the service staff were genuinely kind and helpful.
