Hotel 2 stelle a Xining

È stato difficile trovare l'hotel appena scesi dal taxi, perché bisognava entrare nell'edificio e salire fino al nono piano. Prima di arrivare, abbiamo chiesto informazioni ai residenti della zona, ma nessuno sapeva dove fosse il nostro hotel :) La camera era davvero spaziosa per 4 persone. Tuttavia, c'era un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo grande, che non erano sufficienti per quattro persone. Inoltre, la camera non corrispondeva affatto alle immagini. Suggerirei all'hotel di essere più onesto riguardo all'aspetto delle camere, in modo che i futuri ospiti non rimangano scioccati come è successo a me. Ciononostante, la posizione dell'hotel era eccellente. Vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, alle vie del mercato, alle moschee circostanti e al Parco Nanshan. Ci siamo trovati benissimo a Xining.

L'hotel è buono. Ho avuto una delle piccole camere (che il sito mi ha avvertito). La camera poteva essere adattata a un letto e a un bagno (con doccia sopra il bagno). Il letto era decente e la doccia funzionava abbastanza bene. Hanno fornito delle tovalette reali, anche se un bagno fuori dalla stanza sarebbe grande, quindi non seguire l'acqua ovunque dopo la doccia. L'acqua era inizialmente bloccata da loro. Ha una caldaia. La posizione è ok (potete camminare a soli 1 km dal zoo). Non troppo ristoranti vicino. La finestra si aprì a un blocco di appartamenti. La camera è anche molto calda in estate, e il letto è come dormire bene una tavola, anche se questo sembra ancora standard a Qinghai.

Mr chen. The manager of this hotel is an incredible man. He goes out of his way to help with any personal issues. He personally bought me fresh coffee and helped me orientate my forward journey. The location in a central and an easy walk from the train station. Stay here for sure.

Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

Ho scelto questa struttura perché, dopo aver letto le recensioni, mi è sembrata ottima. Era pulitissima e accogliente, la fermata dell'autobus era proprio di fronte, c'erano molti ristoranti nei dintorni e, soprattutto, tutti quelli che ho incontrato, incluso il proprietario, sono stati gentilissimi e sono stato felicissimo di poter fare amicizia con loro. Se dovessi tornare a Xining in futuro, sceglierò sicuramente questa struttura.

La receptionist era spiritosa e arguta, e il suo servizio è stato eccellente. Ci ha persino fornito una guida turistica gratuita. La camera era molto pulita e ci è stata offerta una colazione gratuita con un'ampia varietà di opzioni. Ma soprattutto, il suo servizio impeccabile mi ha fatto sentire come a casa.

L'hotel ha fatto la qualità necessaria in tutti gli aspetti. Il ricevitore della reception è molto amichevole e felice di aiutare.La pressione dell'acqua nel bagno è sufficiente.La luce della stanza è buona, il luogo è buono, la dieta di trasporto è molto conveniente.

I booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The smell in the bathroom was very strong and extremely irritating to my nose. The room was not clean. The floor was dirty, and I found 1-2 small cockroaches. The bathroom was poorly designed and not properly separated into sections. The bed was very hard, and I woke up with back pain in the morning. There is no elevator in the building-only stairs. I had to carry my large 29-inch suitcase down from the 4th floor to the 1st floor by myself, which was very inconvenient. I originally booked 5 nights, but I had to cancel the remaining 4 nights because I simply could not continue staying there Overall, a very disappointing experience 😌

THEN CANCEL YOUR ONLINE BOOKING. 😄 Bathroom was not quite clean and you can smell the slight unpleasant odour from the drainage. Second day, the room was not made up and water bottles not replenished. The water from the water cooler machine in the lobby was terrible and tasted like water with chemicals in it. It being September, quite cool, but the hotel would only turn on the power for the room AC in the evening, and turn off your AC main power around midnight. Fortunately it was not hot in the room from midnight to the morning. But I have never stayed at a hotel that turns off your AC power at midnight!
