Worst hotel experience. How a stay turned into a nightmare!
First, I was located on the 4th floor, which hotel’s name is different from the rest of 5th and above floor.
1. The description didn’t match the room: no heating at under 0 degree conditions, no bath towel ( only disposable ones).
2. The wall is like paper, we could hear the cleaning lady from early morning, and people partying late night, as if the party was in our room.
3. Our room card didn’t open the door , every single day, we had to go down again to check our card and go up again, all whilst
The hotel elevator was broken during our whole stay.
4. We decided to pay extra fee ( 50 yuan) to be relocated on the 6th floor, because the sound proofing system looked better and hoping that the elevator would be fixed by then( never got fixed).
5. On the last day of our stay, the fire alarm went at 6am, waking us up. The corridor was full of fire smell. Although I called the front desk, no one came to check what’s going on within 20 minutes, so I had to call the firefighters explaining the situation with my Chinese abilities. Finally, someone came to check, but the fire alarm went on again after an hour, disturbing our sleep again, and making us feel anxious not knowing what to do.
6. We asked to change room to another room to a lower floor to prevent any potential fire risk and so that we can rest stress free, but this request was refused, first said all rooms were booked, I argued that on the internet rooms are still available, they finally said the price are not the same as our current room.
Horrible customer service.
