Arriving in Christchurch with no real plans, I was immediately taken under the wing of Rick and Ricky. I ended up extending my stay in Christchurch because of how good they were to me. From airport transfers, to city drop offs, restaurant recommendations, travel recommendations and being the most decent, lovely, helpful people, I was touched by their kindness. I’m so grateful that my time in Christchurch was spent staying at the Sherborne because it started my love affair with New Zealand and the people in it. I have nothing but gratitude and compliments for Rick and Ricky and the Sherwood.

Next night 11.15pm loud music started from the motels next door (managed by the same lady) we couldn’t sleep because it was so loud. I decided to ring her and she said she would investigate it. Few minutes later the music stopped. In morning I woke to a txt message from Manager reading… There was no music! This implied we had lied never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful one night stay at this establishment. The check-in was quick although the owner doesn't speak much English. Small parking lot in the back that can fit 3 cars and a few street spots in the front. The room also included a couch and a 2-person dining table. Everything was clean and cozy. There was a full kitchen with a stovetop, oven, water boiler, mini fridge with ice compartment, cooking utensils, cutlery, bowls, cutting board, bowls/plates, and salt and pepper. The kitchen and bathroom have doors so it limits the kitchen smells into the bedroom. TV has several channels. Shower had a great pressure and plenty hot water, hair dryer included. 2 air heaters available in room. There was provided bathroom toiletries. I was given 2 wifi code vouchers for 1GB each, speed was okay but not great. I was on the top floor; walls are thin facing the outside but overall noise was quiet. You’ll maybe hear other guests moving in and out of building. I would have been happy and comfortable with a long stay here; would recommend.

Absolutely amazing place, host went out of his way to help us. Late check in and a trailer park! Loads of little touches, free soup, crackers etc. the smelly bathroom products are a beautiful touch. Clean, tidy and smells nice! Room was quiet, no road noise. Even the heater was on for us with a warm room. And a brilliant shower for the win :) Only could wish two things 1. We could have stayed longer !! 2. We had found this place earlier!! Well done to you both, we will be back :) Thank you

Molto pulito e confortevole posto per soggiornare. Il proprietario è delizioso e molto utile. È una posizione conveniente e su diverse rotte di autobus così facile da raggiungere. La doccia era grande e era buono avere caffè fresco disponibile nella stanza. Il caffè è proprio intorno all'angolo per un delizioso colazione.

Arriving in Christchurch with no real plans, I was immediately taken under the wing of Rick and Ricky. I ended up extending my stay in Christchurch because of how good they were to me. From airport transfers, to city drop offs, restaurant recommendations, travel recommendations and being the most decent, lovely, helpful people, I was touched by their kindness. I’m so grateful that my time in Christchurch was spent staying at the Sherborne because it started my love affair with New Zealand and the people in it. I have nothing but gratitude and compliments for Rick and Ricky and the Sherwood.

Il proprietario era molto amichevole. La stanza, mentre un po' date, era grande per il prezzo - soprattutto con il bagno bagnato incluso. La stanza era anche senza spot. La città è un po' di distanza da passeggiata, ma il bagno lo rendeva tutto utile. Usa il telefono per il villaggio di Edgeware se dovete fare qualsiasi acquisto di prodotti alimentari.

Nice clean accommodation, with a good size room. Good location, close to the city, and conveniences are just over the road. The unit itself was clean and tidy, and the washer & dryer would be great for longer stays. Free wifi is good. The shower has been poorly built, and water escapes in big lots out onto the bathroom floor. Not the worst place I've stayed in. However, I wouldn't stay here again because of the lack of air conditioning, and the road noise.

3 ladies stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment upstairs on a girls trip. First night my friend was kept up with noise from the motels next door. Cars in and out constantly and loud music. I didn’t hear it. Next night 11.15pm loud music started from the motels next door (managed by the same lady) we couldn’t sleep because it was so loud. I decided to ring her and she said she would investigate it. Few minutes later the music stopped. In morning I woke to a txt message from Manager reading… There was no music! This implied we had lied never stay here again or recommend to anyone.
