I had wonderful stay here and wonderful arrangements done for us. Starting from Srinagar airport to *** drop. They arranged our houseboat stay which belongs to this property on discount price. Food was pure jain which our family required.

I came to srinagr ***** with my family after the phalagam incident. The hotelier arranged wonderful services as per our requirement. the hotel is clean and food was great according to our taste and driver provided was like our family members.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel The Shelter Heritage in Srinagar. My visit to Kashmir came shortly after the Pahalgam incident, and I must say, the warmth and care extended to me and my family by the host made us feel completely at ease. The hospitality was exceptional — we were looked after with genuine concern and attention. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner, which were not only delicious but also offered a wide variety that suited all our preferences. It was a delightful experience to indulge in such thoughtfully prepared meals. The room was very comfortable, and the bed linen was impeccably clean and fresh, which added to our overall comfort. Additionally, the host had excellent knowledge of the local area, providing us with helpful guidance and recommendations that enriched our travel experience. Overall, our stay at The Shelter Heritage was memorable and comforting, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar.

Had an amazing stay . The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The property is good , the rooms are spacious and equipped with all amenities. It's away from the hustle bustle of the city , and the food served is excellent. The team is very courteous and professional Ejaz, Maqbool, Azhar provided excellent service to us. The bonfire at -3 deg was amazing. Scenic spots like Dal lake, Lal Chowk are not very far, but Autos are costly (they dont go by meter or fixed tariff).

Experience was great . Bed was comfortable with electric blanket and having hot ac in every was very amazing The food was homely and fresh. I had great Experience staying in this property. Its 100% for perfect place for those who are travelling with family friends couples and with your colleague

We recently completed a Kashmir tour from 9th to 13th October, arranged by Mr. Izaaz from Royal India Expedition, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The entire trip was well-organized, smooth, and incredibly pocket-friendly. Our accommodation at Hotel Shelter Heritage in Srinagar was a pleasant surprise. Though budget-friendly, the hotel offered a wonderful stay, with employees who treated us like family. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. A special mention to our driver, Mr. Burhan, whose punctuality stood out—something not very common among drivers in typical tourist destinations. He was not only a skilled driver but also extremely friendly, making the journey even more enjoyable. We are extremely satisfied with the entire arrangement and will definitely be looking forward to traveling with Royal India Expedition again and also staying in hotel shelter heritage in the future. Highly recommended!

The hotel is good budget friendly option for Srinagar. Rooms r good , clean and decent in size. Bathrooms ir clean. Hospitality is excellent . They have also arranged for our travel and site seeing for a very cheap price. Food was good. In short ,the hotel is one of the best pocket friendly option in Srinagar. Howver, One con about the hotel is that it is a bit far from Dal Lake and Lal Chowk

Decent Experience!! Shelter heritage planned our whole Kashmir trip and no doubt it was quite convenient for us Safi and his family has been very warm welcoming Burhan Farooq is the person who made our trip more comfortable and fun ! Because of him we could see hidden beauty of Kashmir! We really appreciate it! Thank you for the wonderful service we will definitely visit again !

Ejaz bhai and his family treated us like we were guests visiting his personal home We stayed here for eight nights and there was never anything to complain be it their service or kindness The staff too were very courteous and patient especially Aftab Akash and Nazeer I and my family will highly recommend this hotel rather I would say this home who would like to stay at home away from home

It was in 2011 march, I was planning my honeymoon from south africa . I had planned 7 days trip to Kashmir . I have searched many blogs/ reviews/comments from the internet. Based on the many customer's feedback, I finalized the deal with Mr. Shafi bai. Since, I had never been outside to south africa was a bit skeptical about the overall trip. But, it was my best ever memorable trip in my life!!!. I never felt any discomfort during the entire trip, all were well planned and organized by Aijaz Bhai. Food he served was amazing and his small kid was always reminded us that it is just like another home. The entire team was just like the family. To remember those beautiful days, Still, even after 7 years, we remember the The shelter heritage and the places we saw

Amazing service from Srinagar airport to Srinagar airport. The host was wonderful they made my itinerary as per request and showed untouched kashmir to us. The food was wonderful which I missed in *** ****** region. The food was mostly buffet having good option

We often refer to TripAdvisor reviews while booking our stay for our vacations. Based on the almost 5 star reviews, we booked 3 days here from 10th to 1 3th August. And it was the worst decision. The photos are very deceiving. The staff just doesn't have any hospitality, no cleaning of rooms, even when asked they didn't change the glasses etc. The breakfast was extremely oily and cold and hardly any options. And the worst of all was the location. We actually checked out a day earlier.
