"An absolutely amazing experience. I was aware of the hotel's location during booking but those that really did not do justice. The view of the Dal Lake that we got from our balcony or while eating at the restaurant or walking around the property, in one word - magical. The entire Dal Lake surrounded by the Zabarwan Mountains at sunset is a sight to behold. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained. The property is immaculately maintained and really beautiful with such a wide variety of flowers blooming everywhere. The breakfast and dinner buffet spreads were absolutely scrumptious and always led to confusion regarding what to have as everything looked so good. But lastly, a huge shoutout to all the staff - from the helpdesk, housekeeping, restaurant and others. They are the ones who made our stay so magical!"

"We are still dreaming about our exquisite experience in Mascot Houseboat. Our 3 nights stay in this luxurious houseboat in Nigeen lake has been truly magical. Beautiful spacious room, rich and elegantly designed houseboat, stunning views of the mountains and blue lake incl a variety of birds that visited us - it was peace, calm and beauty personified. Paradise on earth indeed! Special mention - Umer and his hospitality, who took great care of us. suggested the best/unique Kashmiri dishes we should try there; and went the extra mile in everything to ensure we had the most memorable time in Mascot. He is awesome! Big highlight is their food, and kudos to the Chef who prepared delicious dishes at breakfast and dinner. What a wonderful stay, and the shikara rides on the serene Nigeen lake was icing on the cake! Highly recommended, please go!"

We had booked for 3 nights and for 2 days we were served breakfast prepared by housekeeper as there no chef available and when we complained of it we were very rudely told by incharge that we just had attended a big group few days back and hence we are on leave we were given hot water in buckets inspite booking for bathtub rooms and paying extra for it were could not enjoy it and when we asked to checkout on 2 day they were very rude and arrogant forced us to pay even though the whole cottage was vacant. Then on 3rd day we showed all pics to owners brother he apologized but we had just wasted our whole money we came on reviews based on Google but regretted after staying we could enjoy tea in balcony as the door glass was broken and linen was also not provided fresh every day and they were stains on linen the owner stays in another city and he is not been conveyed by staff that they are not even serving basic breakfast even though they charged us for breakfast we had proper breakfast on last day. We are attaching pic and shared with owner also so that owner improves it and others don't suffer. In pic there are dirty linen given, dirty floor, boiler not working even though lights are there, buckets in which like beggars we get hot water , for such a big room very small heater given , broken glass door which after complained tape was applied"
