LOCATION: Looking out over the water of Le Havre's Bassin, Hotel Pasino is well placed for exploring city on foot. Many of the historic sights of Le Havre plus engaging displays of street art are at almost every turn only minutes away across the footbridge opposite. St Joseph's monumental modern stained glass church tower is just down the street along with the Volcan, known locally as the ＜ pot de yaourt ＞ (yoghurt pot) theatre complex. A bit further away is the beach which although more pebbles than sand looked glorious as the late afternoon sun hovered low in the sky on Bastille Day. VIEW: I booked a Superior Privilege room looking out over Le Havre's Bassin and it was money well-spent for the view that was both interesting and relaxing. At night, the bridge over the Bassin was illuminated, with the sunflower yellow and turquoise of Ukraine's flag alternating on Bastille Day with France's tricolore of blue, white and red. The effects looked magnificent reflected in the water. ROOM: A vestibule along which was a luggage rack and plenty of wardrobe space led to the well-appointed room with subtly luxurious finshes. Big bathroom, good shower, vanity with plenty of room for toiletries and a completely separate loo. SERVICE: Welcoming and helpful throughout. BREAKFAST: Julie, a quietly engaging, ever-smiling young woman who oversaw the beautifully-presented buffet most mornings made not only my day, but my stay, as she helped me with my fractured French (and I reciprocated by adding to her English).

UUtente ospiteTrès bon rapport qualité/ prix pour cette auberge de jeunesse nouvelle génération, tout le personnel a été agréable et compétent. Une mention particulière au chef cuistot du Birgit pour ses délicieux gâteaux faits maison, sa salade de fruits, son coulis de framboise et tout le reste au petit déjeuner. Je recommande cette auberge de jeunesse ainsi que le petit déjeuner XL

Kyriad (Le Birgit) – Leger Holidays This hotel should not be operating! It was dreadful! Leger Holidays booked this Kyriad hotel for our tour group. The rooms were extremely basic, part chipboard furnishings and views were either a large building site, with a railway track one side or a very busy and noisy square with a 24-hour McDonalds. Two of our group found a cockroach on their bed! Other rooms our party had were dirty. The towels were old and paper thin. The so-called bar was virtually not existent Restaurant: there were not enough chairs or tables for everyone to sit down and the bar only open 7pm-9pm Breakfast – continental only – not great. The Kyriad Le Havre hotel advertised it had tea and coffee facilities in the room with a kettle and milk. - There was nothing in any of the rooms! It also stated it had hairdryers – but some did not. Upon complaining we were told that they Not Kyriad anymore”! Kyriad sold the hotel a month ago – the new hotel being Le Birgit! Le Birgit was being refurbished and resembled a building site - there were even wires coming down from the ceiling by the one lift as well as more building materials by the reception and at one end of the restaurant. Surely, this hotel must have more than one or two health and safety issues. The lift had seen better days and it was ‘hit or miss’ if the button for the ground floor worked, Leger Holidays should have done better and thoroughly checked out this hotel beforehand!.

CCLAUDIAAbbiamo scelto questo hotel perché la catena Mercure offre sempre un buon comfort. Stanze ampie, pulite, insonorizzate. Un’ottima scelta. Non abbiamo fatto colazione perché non essendo particolarmente affamate al mattino, ci sembrava inutile spendere a testa 17 euro.

Nous avons été très heureux de séjourner à l'Hôtel Première Classe de Le Havre Centre. Le personnel est accueillant, à l'écoute, joviale et toujours prêt à rendre service. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et même la douche est bien mieux que dans les autres Hôtels Première Classe car avec une porte de douche en verre plutôt qu'un rideau qui se colle à vous lorsque vous êtes mouillé. Vraiment nous sommes très satisfaits. Merci encore à tous les personnel !

Chambre propre, serviettes à disposition, bon accueil du personnel, petit déjeuner rien à dire nickel. A 12min de la plage en voiture, bien placé. Correct , prix raisonnable. Recommande pour un week-end ou quelques jours. Ascenseur à disposition qui fait plaisir.

UUtente ospiteUna scala sul Havre e noi siamo arrivati in questo hotel. Ottimo accoglienza molto PRO Situazione geografica TB ma fa essere buon marciapiede con 25 min di cammino fino al centro città (molto simpatico). L’avenue Gambetta assez longue peu faire peut mais francamente il n’y a pas de quoi. L’avantage est d’avoir des petit commerce ouvert à toute heure. Établissement propre (surtout les partis communs). Le PDJ est très sympa. La camera è un po' vecchia, ma funzionale, comunque. Certo un po' vestata, ma perfetta per una notte. Una VMC nella sala d’acqua è urgentemente consigliato.Il top rimane il parcheggio ampiamente consigliato, altrimenti buona fortuna per parcheggiare. Stabilimento tranquillo. Abbiamo amato e consigliamo. Grazie 🤔🇫🇷
