Hotel vicini a Porters Civic House & Mayor＇s Parlour a Southend-on-Sea

Pensava che il ragazzo alla ricezione fosse un po' miserabile se sono sincero, ma la stanza stessa era abbastanza piacevole, bella e pulita, letti non sono così buoni come i piaceri del primo ufficio, ma era ok. Il bagno era enorme, che consisteva di una grande piscina e di una grande passeggiata in doccia e un bagno, tutti dei quali erano relativamente nuovi, avrei pensato. 10/10 per il bagno. Non ha davvero esplorato gli hotel altre strutture, il cibo era costoso così scelta di mangiare altrove, si può camminare nel centro principale in 12 minuti. Tutto il posto era superiore alla media e rimarrei lì se il prezzo fosse buono e dovevo rimanere in quel posto.

This hotel is adequate enough and our room on level 1 was a good size. In nicer weather a lovely outdoors space with good view can be utilised. The restaurant in this hotel is very nice and worth a visit. The music in the restaurant for breakfast was much more the vibe I would expect with a boutique hotel (chill out Ibiza). The music the night before in the bar area was questionable (boy George) and not aligned to the following morning. The one irritation with this hotel is the fact they do not make you aware (our receptionist) did not anyway! About the parking in front of the hotel not being Free on a Sunday. On arrival we were not lucky enough find a space in the hotels carpark so parked opposite the hotel entrance. Once we checked in we asked if parking was free at the front. The receptionist confirmed it was not free so we downloaded the app and paid ( she did not make this information known on arrival). The receptionist did not then explain parking was also required for the Sunday. We were issued a fine at 08:20 Sunday morning. After paying the fine I spoke to the hotel to give my recommendation that all hotel guests should be made fully aware of parking rules. The receptionist I spoke with said she always tells people and I just confirmed that our receptionist did not. When I left on the Sunday with my fine I counted how many other cars also had a ticket. The number was 10. I do not believe this hotel is doing its best to inform guests which leaves a question mark for me. I personally won’t be returning as I feel other hotels in Southend area have the edge and the fine has left a bit of a negative experience that could have easily been avoided.
