Hotel in zona Statue of Peace, Sokcho

Good: Very spacious room with great view and a balcony! Bathroom had a rain shower. Walkable to Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion which has great night view. Bus opposite hotel goes directly to Seoraksan. Walking distance to Intercity Bus Terminal. Bad: 1. Front desk. I asked about the swimming pool when it was before 9PM. Official closing time was 10PM and last entry was 9:30PM. Front desk staff told me the swimming pool entry has closed for the day even though it's not 9PM yet. 2. Only had housekeeping once even though I stayed for 4 nights. This was not explained during check in.

Was really looking forward to my stay at the Kensington Hotel Seorak. But when I pay $263AU / night I have a certain expectation that a 4 star hotel will live up to the hype. The service at the check-in desk and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself exudes 'history' and it was interesting spending time looking at the library, hallways and various displays on offer. The menus were adequate for our stay and we spent 29000KRW on the chicken and beer offer on the first night and the steak and wine (120000KRW) on the second night. Breakfasts were 29000KRW/pp or 10% off if you book at check-in were also value for money. However several aspects let the hotel down. Hot water was hard to get - I tried for an afternoon shower and again at midnight with no luck. Larger hotels in Korea tend to have central control over the air conditioning, so if you like a cool room you'll be out of luck by October?? Even having the small window open, and turning of the 'air conditioning, the room was stuffy. Having found a laundry bag and order form I was told that the hotel no longer offered that service. Disappointing. The towels were worn / frayed on the edges (they've passed their useabe date) and though the hotel room we were in had a great view the windows were so grubby it was hard to really enjoy the view. While I appreciate COVID has had an impact on the hotel industry generally, I'm pretty certain that the Kensington, with its views and proximity to Seoraksan, faired better than most. While I would stay here again I would like to think that for prime pricing the Kensington could up its game and ensure that such small issues were addressed.

L'ho legato alla Gold Suite Ulsan Rock View!Il tempo era così bello che potevo vedere Ulsan Rock chiaramente. Se vuoi vedere, è meglio arrivare prima delle 12 e aspettare. Ho fatto check-in alle 3:00, quindi ho ricevuto una stanza solo alle 12:00, e alcuni dei miei bagagli erano meno puliti, ma l'ho messo in anticipo nell'ostello e mi sono lasciato andare da qualche altra parte. Il bagno è stato il migliore. Il letto di alloggio e la tavola sono così buoni che è un buon posto per viaggiare per le famiglie. I miei genitori erano così felici.

Buona scelta per i viaggiatori! Vicino all'hotel, hanno una stazione di autobus espressa e una bella spiaggia ❤️! In camera uso un lavandino, microonde e vista sul mare dalla stanza. Ma la piccola terrazza non è pulita - pensaci. La prossima volta rimango qui 😉

Ho visto le foto della stanza e ho pagato il weekend di sabato e domenica costoso e visitato, ma era in realtà un po' stretto e deludente In particolare nel soggiorno, il divano e i mobili da tavola sono pieni, che sono molto stufati. Ci sono tre mari e figli di cinque anni sul letto matrimoniale. Aprii la porta della veranda e mi sono addormentato ascoltando il suono delle onde, ma se visitassi la prossima volta, sarei contento se rimarrò al tasso di settimana~ Se si sfrega tra il soggiorno e il dormitorio senza muro, sarebbe meno stufo e stretto, ma dopo aver dormito tutta la notte, la camera si sentiva confortevole.

Mi sono divertito. C'erano troppe persone al check-in sabato ed è stato un po' di confusione, ma il tempo è stato buono oggi, quindi puoi aspettare fuori divertendoti, ma è meglio venire entro le 10 per ottenere il biglietto numerato. Le strutture sono semplici ed è problematico smaltire la spazzatura da soli, ma non è difficile, non è male, voglio tornare a Sono Calm la prossima volta! Sono Moon è assolutamente vecchio!

L'hotel è l'ultimo aperto, non sono ancora pronti per il circolare inglese e le strutture interne.E'bene che il personale abbia un po'di inglese.Il cameriere dell'hotel è solo alle 12.00.Inoltre, la mia stanza non ha telefono per contattare la ricetta, e'difficile.
