I migliori hotel con spa a Sithonia

Lovely hotel, perfect for families, very accommodating staff. I arrived a little nervous having read previous reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. The building and surround area is grand with lovely secluded beaches a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and obviously work long hours as there from the morning until the evening. The pools are very cold so must be refreshing in the peak heat of the summer. The private beach was perfect for swimming in the clear sea. We went all inclusive we was great. All alcohol other than wine is branded, with a large selection of cocktails available. We dined at the beach restaurant/cafe which was nice but the portions are huge and felt overwhelmed by what we ordered (despite being warned by the waiting staff). There are semi domesticated dogs that roam the outside area that hang about, I’m sure looking for scraps and for people to pet them. I am not an animal person but felt more relaxed with them than I would normally. We went right at the end of October and so end of the season. Although this was a bonus for us as was less busy, there were clear signs of everything being packed up for the winter with bars shutting towards the end of our stay etc. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was luxurious. Bottle of water refreshed every day, chocolates by the bed, fruit platter on arrival, red wine on arrival,local olive oil mid week, room cleaned daily, towels changed at least daily (even before we had used them int he morning!). All in all a very lovely holiday.

Una struttura meravigliosa, con un mare stupendo e un cibo semplice ma gustoso, abbondante e di qualità eccellente. Un solo problema molto grave: la struttura è guidata da un General Manager, George Valsamidis, del tutto inadeguato a guidare una struttura di così alto profilo. Ho lasciato passare 45 giorni dalla mia permanenza proprio per dare un giudizio sereno, non influenzato da ragioni emotive. Ho contestato col cameriere il conto del ristorante, giudicando eccessivo il costo del pesce. Il cameriere ha chiamato il suo capo e successivamente è intervenuto il Sig. Valsamidis, al quale ho spiegato che non intendevo pagare un prezzo così alto per il pesce. Il Sig. Valsamidis mi ha risposto che non mi avrebbe fatto tornare nella mia stanza se non avessi pagato il conto. Credevo scherzasse. Invece, tornato alla mia stanza, ho trovato davanti alla porta il Valsamidis, con due altri camerieri, ad impedire a mia moglie e a me l'accesso. Ne è seguita una discussione, anche con una colluttazione (della quale posso mostrare i segni), che alla fine hanno convinto il Valsamidis a togliere l'assedio e a continuare la discussione nella nostra camera, da solo. La discussione rischiava di degenerare nuovamente, quando mia moglie, temendo il peggio, ha informato il Valsamidis che avrebbe chiamato l'ambulanza preoccupata per la mia salute. A questo punto, il Valsamidis è uscito. L'indomani ho cercato al telefono il Valsamidis (le chiamate sono state mostrate ad un dirigente della struttura), che non ha risposto, nè ha richiamato. Tecnicamente giudico George Valsamidis non idoneo a guidare una struttura così prestigiosa: aldilà delle sue esperienze pregresse, questo signore non ha la maturità emotiva per quella posizione e i suoi comportamenti sono pregiudizievoli dell'immagine della Ammoa Luxury Hotel, della Famiglia proprietaria e della tradizione ricettiva del suo Paese.

We are regular guests in Ekies restaurant and we usually come with friends and family. Taverna Project menu provides light and tasty food options and we enjoy thick shades under the sun shade canopies. However, we were deeply disappointed by appalling service by Marina. She wanted to sit our party of 10 at a table for 6. When we refused and proceeded to sit on a set of 2 smaller tables under the tree top bar, she refused to serve us and was extremely impolite. We then asked her to find us seating for 10 people but she said that we can only sit at that table for 6 people. Luckily, Osia came to rescue and seated us where we wanted. Adonis served us further and everything was truly first class. It is unimaginable to us that a 5* hotel employs someone so unprofessional like Marina. This was the second time she treated us like this. We thought the first time that Marina just had a bad day. But her behaviour yesterday convinced us otherwise. Treating guests who leave €350+ in a 1-hour visit in an arrogant and angry way can be detrimental for the hotel’s business and reputation and it’s just not cool and pleasant. We urge the management to deal with Marina appropriately and protect their business and their guests from angry tantrums of this employee.
