Hotel in zona Hooper Road Playground, Singapore

Please read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

Di fronte all'hotel si trova il Tempio Longshan. La posizione non è male. È anche vicino alla stazione degli autobus e alla stazione della metropolitana. Le strutture delle camere sono semplici e abbastanza pulite e ordinate. In termini di prezzo, il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è piuttosto buono! Quando torno in albergo la sera, spesso non c'è nessuno alla reception e talvolta ci vuole molto tempo per aspettare che la reception riceva la chiave della camera.

Aveva una cattiva esperienza con l'aria condizionata, si sentiva calda alle 3:00. Mi chiamavano la ricezione e mi diedero un cambio immediato di stanza. Ma purtroppo un'altra stanza veniva con odore dal buco di drenaggio del bagno.

Wife and I decided spontaneously to do an overnight stay here. We had seen the outer and inner decor at the lobby of Kam Leng Hotel before and were intrigued by the character and heritage the hotel had (hence the 2 stars due to the potential) When we checked in, process was smooth. Upon entering the room, we realised a small but new Xiaomi TV and a spacious toilet. However, the room was extremely musty and dusty (like the kind of dust that hadnt been cleaned for months and years). We were unable to sleep throughout the night and checked out early as we kept feeling itchy, aircon kept turning cold and warm and the mustiness remained. Reading some reports, we also understood that the hotel had been used for some illegal businesses before. To conclude, you do get basic amenities and lodging for the price you pay, which is reasonable. As a couple or person looking for a comfortable night's stay then maybe not. A hotel full of potential but not well maintained at all. What a waste.

La stanza è molto piccola, a parte il letto e il bagno, praticamente non c'è altro spazio. Ma l'igiene va bene, anche se il passero è piccolo, ha tutti gli organi interni. Sono disponibili tutte le forniture alberghiere necessarie. Anche la posizione è buona, c'è un'area ristorazione accanto e non mancano bar e altri articoli. È un po' lontano dalla stazione della metropolitana, a circa 5 minuti. Ci sono diverse fermate dell'autobus nelle vicinanze. La reception e i camerieri sono cordiali.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 4 notti durante le vacanze del Mid-Autumn Festival. Il trasporto è molto comodo, con le stazioni della metropolitana e degli autobus nelle vicinanze della Moschea del Sultano e di Haji Lane. C'è una food court nelle vicinanze e puoi camminare lì. L'immagine 2 mostra la piscina al 4° piano, profonda 1,2 metri. Le camere a Singapore sono molto piccole e la reception ci ha aiutato a passare gratuitamente a una camera con vista sulla città.

La prima scelta per soggiornare in questo hotel è perché si trova subito dopo la stazione MRT di Lavender. È molto comodo per i trasporti. Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti ristoranti per colazione, pranzo, cena e spuntini a tarda notte, nonché McDonald's e un supermercato tradizionale , trasporti convenienti, ristoranti convenienti e viaggi veloci da e per le attrazioni turistiche. È un hotel consigliato e ci tornerò la prossima volta che andrò a Singapore. In allegato sono presenti alcune foto del paesaggio urbano scattate dall'ultimo quindicesimo piano dell'hotel. .

Per la prima volta sono rimasti qui da Covid. L'iscrizione era veloce. Era un sistema di auto-iscrizione. Solo che non hanno accettato il modo di pagamento senza contatto per il deposito dell'hotel. Quindi ho dovuto ancora passare al conto per completare il mio check-in, perché non ho avuto la mia carta di credito fisica con me. C'era un ascensore che portava direttamente al parco. Molto utile e utile. La dimensione della stanza era accettabile. Non grande ma non piccolo nemmeno. C'era un sistema di filtrazione per l'acqua potabile. Pertanto, non era fornito acqua bottigliata. i booked an urban suite to celebrate my fiancé's birthday, and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves to the max. the hotel system was down when we were checking in, but our front desk staff, Rosy, explained the situation to us, gave us a beverages voucher to enjoy a drink each while we waited for our key cards at the lounge, and even personally came over to hand us the cards once the room was ready. shortly after we checked in, a staff member from the collection club lounge dropped by the room and gave my fiancé a mini cake, a box of chocolates, and a birthday card. we went to the collection club lounge for evening cocktails and were surprised with a bread pudding platter with a lighted candle to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and managed to catch the ndp rehearsal's fireworks show. overall, the interactions we had with the staff members were exceptional, and we felt very welcomed and taken care of, everywhere we went. the urban suite room was very clean and spacious, and we had a wonderful view of the cbd area. having stayed in many hotels in singapore, this is by far the best room and experience ive had.
