The hotel Golden Crest deceives people saying it is newly renovated. The ceiling is damp and broken (photo attached). Moreover they have not provided even basic amenities like towel, toiletries etc.
The customer service is also not helpful.
Overall an experience nobody would like to have.

Best place to stay in Gangtok. Very polite employees and food quality is superb. Rooms are hygienic and view from room window are amazing. Manager Mr. Dinesh is amazing and very cooperative person. Places to visit in Gangtok are nearby from hotel.

We had booking for six rooms on 1st June 2024 in this beautiful valley view hotel. We arrived late night due to landslides in Lachung, but we didn't face any problem in our check-in process. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. We enjoyed our breakfast there. Hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. Overall our stay was comfortable. We love to stay in this hotel on our next visit.

Room was nice. All the staff members are very cooperative And helpfull. Breakfast and dinner was nice. They have provided without onion and garlic food also on my request. Room service and cleaning was good. Mr. Manish is very nice person. My experience is very positive.

Spacious room with premium quality and road side view. The most attractive reason for 5 star is management and corporation of manish who is the manager of that hotel and bikash. If there would be one more option for 5 star i will give to there kitchen guys as well as there manger who take care of all the thing. Thanks again to all the guys for being polite and help full services.

One of the best hotels with prime location & premium amenities. Mr. Manish has made this trip memorable & hasslefree right from the day I booked this hotel ,excellent staff with Vikas leading the group with management & services . I wish to come back & meet these Amazing guys .Thanks a lot for the help & support .

The property has a great location and offers breathtaking views. The staff is polite and helpful, making guests feel at home. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, with comfortable beds. It is a decent budget property with good amenities and safety measures.

The hospitality at the property was excellent. The best part was accessibility till mall road, cabs are easily available from the property. The view from the room was perfect and even the linens, aesthetics were 11/10! Must visit when in Gangtoj
