Nice hotel and near to the beach the price is. Cheap........

Amazing view man!! Need a little work on the maintenance side BUT it is pretty decent for being on an island! If you have a gecko fear, stay AWAY haha or go and enjoy the vibey nature and waking up at 5 from monkeys jumping on your balcony! Living life!

Super Baumhäuser auf Koh Rong , sehr sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Viele Häuser werden saniert und dann wird es noch fantastischer. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen

Ужасно. Нам дали не тот номер, который мы бронировали, домик на дереве. Вместо него мы получили грязную конуру, номер без категории, больше похожий на комнату для персонала, где было грязно и нас всю ночь ела стая комаров, не смотря на то, что при заселении мы сразу включили в позвонку средство от комаров. Такого я ещё никогда не встречала, на улице не так много комаров, как внутри, они явно живут в помещении и гостиница с этим ничего не делает. Мы просыпались ночью, что б побрызгать себя, а эти комариные укусы уже долго и болезненно заживали. Полагаю, что в кровати могли быть клопы, потому что три раза в одно и то же место комар не кусает, как меня (фото оставлю) На следующий день мы все же получили свой домик на дереве. Он оказался не сильно лучше. Такие же огромные щели в окнах и дверях, старый интерьер, звук кондиционера всю ночь и вцелом слышимость максимальная, а по территории отеля просто всю ночь ходят люди, возвращающиеся с вечеринок. Да, вид с домика на дереве прекрасный, но отдых там был просто кошмаром, плохой сон, не комфортно. Отельер максимально неприветлив.

Alles in allem sehr schön. Service war super. Klar darf man nicht vergessen das man in einem anderen Land ist. Da darf man ein paar Abstriche in Kauf nehmen. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Kambodscha werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder dieses hotel wählen

La spiaggia e il cibo erano buoni, ma il personale era scarsamente addestrato e per lo più mostrava poca professionalità. Tuttavia - ed è qui che siamo rimasti molto delusi - il manager non solo ha mostrato un atteggiamento molto scarso nei nostri confronti, ma in realtà ha iniziato a diventare spregevole. Abbiamo pagato 55 $ per un soggiorno di una notte (che a quanto pare era più delle offerte online) in un bungalow su una casa sull'albero per scoprire che la nostra aria condizionata non funzionava correttamente. A differenza di quanto detto, non avevamo zanzariere, quindi non potevamo aprire le finestre e, di conseguenza, abbiamo dormito male la notte. Siamo andati a vedere la direzione la mattina per chiedere una qualche forma di risarcimento. Su nostra richiesta, Arif (il manager) con un sorriso cupo ha detto che non c'erano problemi con l'aria condizionata (non aveva mai pensato di controllarlo) e che non avremmo avuto alcun compenso. Non solo non ha offerto alcun aiuto alla nostra richiesta, ma in seguito non ha mostrato assolutamente alcun segno di simpatia e, peggio ancora, ci ha parlato in modo poco professionale. È stata la prima volta che mi è successo e, per essere molto chiari, il problema che abbiamo avuto non era necessariamente con l'hotel in sé, ma con il suo terribile manager (sì, terribile...). Vi consiglio di cercare altri hotel che abbiano prezzi simili e che siano più funzionali del Tree House Bungalow (che era quasi vuoto). Il luogo mostra molte potenzialità, ma purtroppo sembra aver abdicato a qualsiasi tipo di responsabilità, impersonata principalmente dalla persona preposta a gestirlo.

Ottimo soggiorno sulla spiaggia, anche se la sabbia dietro l'angolo di White Beach era migliore - a quanto pare il lato nella nostra baia era sabbia dei costruttori che era stata portata qui - non sono sicuro che fosse vero o no. L'area del bar era fantastica e ben gestita da Sabena. Facevamo parte di un grande gruppo che occupava la maggior parte dei bungalow.

Worst experience I've ever had. I'm writing this review while scratching different parts of my body due to poor cleanliness of the place. The bugalows are run down, the inside is humid and you can just tell by being inside that the place is full of bugs. We were told that there is a shuttle available for pick up at arrival but instead we got a motorcycle that carried our suitcases while we walked 2 miles on sand wearing sneakers. The food is honestly not that good and not a lot of variety either, most treehouse residents walk a bit to eat. Their kitchen always lacks something. We scheduled the shuttle for our departure beforehand and agreed on the time the.night before. Bext morning not only were they late, but they pushed the boat inside the water far enough to get your knees wet if you try to climb on, while we're wearing city clothes as we're leaving and had the audacity to ask "Are you not coming?" after staring at our sneakers. Avoid at all costs, there are so many other places on this island that are cheaper and offer a much better accomodation for your stay. PS: WiFi never works, only the bar's WiFi does.

Avoid - overpriced and dilapidated. I would avoid the Treehouse Bungalows Koh Rong. The three main reasons are 1. it is overpriced for the value provided, 2. the property is neglected and dilapidated, and 3. the person at reception takes chances/liberties (read more below about their 18% currency conversion ‚error‘ and their confusion when we asked for receipts). It felt like a resort long past its heyday, and is now neglected and unmaintained. I think they are taking advantage of the old reputation (and photos) from when it was in a good state. It is now very dilapidated but you’re still paying in line with the heyday rate. We cancelled our booking early and forfeited the money (they wouldn’t do a refund) because we thought it wiser to leave. Pros - Location: nice beach and a short, flat walk to village and two piers for catching the ferries - Luggage shuttle to and from pier - The beds and curtains were reasonably clean. Cons - The property does not look like the marketing photos. It is in a state of neglect overall and in disrepair in some places. In the photos the wooden buildings are maintained and varnished, for example. - The price is too high for the services delivered. The website described our accomodation as ‚Our Bungalows with 2 double bed are comfortable, roomy and elegant‘. They are not. The basics are not included - like hand soap and bath mats. - Everywhere else we travelled (Siem Reap, Kampot, Phnom Penh) used a USD1 : Riel 4100 rate, this place used US$1 : Riel 5000. This means you pay a sizeable 18% more because of their miscalculation. - The system for charging food and drink items to the room didn’t work well and you don’t sign each receipt. When we checked out there was a bit of confusion when we asked for the receipts to confirm a bill that was higher than we thought. The person at reception acted like this was very unusual. - Bathroom was very dilapidated (chipped paint and plaster and broken basin cabinet) and very basic (rusty nail to hold the handheld bidet so it kept falling on to the floor). - Towels are old and need replacing. We needed to go to reception to ask for towels (they weren’t in the room when we checked in). - The bathroom needs hand towels. - The bathroom needs bath mats. - The bathroom needs basic toiletries - like hand soap. - The bathroom needs to be cleaned. - The room had two mugs and a kettle, but no tea or coffee and was meant to be a room for four people. - There were no mosquito nets. The marketing photos showed clean and maintained rooms with better facilities. - There was no safe/secure option to keep valuables like passports). - Restaurant was out of various ingredients and items on the menu. - The beach loungers were starting to fall apart in places and all the pillows/cushions were missing/gone. Again, the photos showed clean and maintained furniture. - The pool was neglected and couldn’t be used. There are no swimming towels. As I stated earlier, it felt like a r

The Khmer food, fruit shakes and milk-based smoothies are delicious! Unbelievably good and sanitary - food comes out piping hot. I literally ordered takeout daily after each of my three scuba dives with the onsite PADI dive center. I could eat there forever. The restaurant does take credit cards with an additional surcharge - USD$1 for a total under $15 and USD $2 for any total above that. (We did not stay in the lodgings and can only comment on the food, which was to die for.)

Breath taking views from the tree house. Lovely large room with on suite bathroom. Monkeys came to visit us on our balcony. Highlight of our holiday! The gentleman on reception was so helpful, he sent us messages with directions and photos. We've traveled a lot and nothing beats this place. Building work going on there atm. Pool and new bathrooms. Quiet not disturbing but I'd say by the end of this year, it will be going from a 2 star to 5 star.

We were fortunate to have one of the bungalows that faces the sea, so woke up to the best view ever, looking straight at the sunrise and hearing the waves lapping on the shore. No complaints about the accommodation except that the electricity often failed, this seems to be a problem on the island. The bungalows are quite basic but everything was clean (and no mildew to be seen). We had no issues with noise from the bar, it was a quiet place to relax in the evenings and several tables are right next to the beach. We had dinner there twice and breakfast once, the food was excellent.
