奇奇異種子The hotel is very big!!! Everything is perfect, it looks like a hotel village with excellent design, the food and public bath here is also amazing, we have spent a really relaxing day!!!

NNC8891The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station.
However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service.
By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus.
Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead.
During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus.
The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring.
Overall service is excellent.

UUtente ospiteThe food quality of the Spanish set dinner and breakfast was excellent and beyond our expectation. All the staff including front desk and restaurant were very friendly and hospitable. The location is convenient and walkable from bus station or to the shops, the rental of bicycles was included in the room rate. Many places are accessible by bicycles and kind of convenient to cycling around. The free flow drinks and snacks was a very kind gesture and face masks were very thoughtful room amenities for the dry weather. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to next visit soon.

UUtente ospiteWe had an amazing 2 nights stay here! Located about 5 minutes short walk from the train station, there were a convenience store and small supermarket directly across the hotel.
We weren't expecting much when we booked as the photos look dated and it was a last minute trip but oh mine, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was large and although it was the old room, it had a certain charmimg character to it that we love. The bathroom was also big, clean and had a lovely large bathtub. I love the full range of toiletries they provided and was hoping to buy it in Tokyo to bring home but I couldn't.
There was a common area on the second floor where water, juice and coffee were provided and we bought our own sake in the evening and sat there. We spent two peaceful evenings here after dinner and it was lovely.
Our only complaint was the bed was rather soft and the pillows were flat. But we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Karuizawa.

Ccloudy moonI Like the cleanliness of the hotel. Room is spacious. The front desk staff could communicate in English. Good if you drive there. Else, it’s a distance from the train station. St Paul church is just opposite of the hotel. There’s also a Japanese shin nearby. There are good bakery shops nearby for breakfast. We were there on 2 weekdays and there’s not many people and not many shops open. The restaurant next to it serves good pasta and pizza. We had our 2 dinners settled there. Karuizawa is a beautiful place. You may have a morning jog nearby and it’s so serene running around.

Posizione: L'hotel è vicino alla Old Ginza Street e intorno a una guida 15-minutes dalla stazione Karuizawa. Non è stato difficile trovare, ma è necessario navigare un approccio stretto all'hotel che è freddo in questo momento dell'anno, quindi è necessario guidare attentamente.
Pulizia: il personale mi ha detto che l'hotel era solo recentemente e che tutto era molto pulito e in buona condizione.
Servizio: Il ricevitore che ha effettuato il check-in è probabilmente il giapponese che ha parlato il miglior inglese che avevo incontrato in questo viaggio. Ha passato molto tempo spiegando l'hotel alla nostra famiglia. Il portatore è stato anche molto utile e gentile. Servizi: L'hotel non ha molte strutture. Ci sono un piccolo negozio, un bar e un ristorante francese, ma non molto altro. Alcuni camere hanno le fonti private calde e ci hanno dato l'opportunità di aggiornare. La nostra stanza aveva un piccolo balcone, anche se eravamo sul pavimento; guardava un'area di legno, così non c'era molto da vedere, soprattutto la notte; ma quando neveva la mattina dopo, i miei figli amavano uscire e giocare nella neve. Mi ha colpito soprattutto il colazione. Era un semplice colazione americana molto ben presentata. Era molto piacevole guardare nel cortile interno con la neve.
In generale: Mi piace questo hotel perché ha un sacco di carattere. E 'architetturalmente attraente e ha mantenuto un sacco di fascino nonostante la rinovazione. Il personale è molto professionale e gentile. Mi fermerò di nuovo in questo hotel.

UUtente anonimoNice hotel. Karuizawa Outlet is in a walking distance. But had to take the bus to ski area. The west ski area did not open at the time we stayed. The front staff was not that freindly. No power plug adapter for borrowing. When comparing to the price, it not worth it. The good thing is the location, that’s it.
Hotel breakfast was awesome, the staffs were very nice, much nicer than front staff.

RraywongwmWe had a wonderful stay in Karuizawa, with Marriot providing a good environment for our rest overnight. The hotel room is quite spacious though a bit old style. Short driving distance to all tourist spots nearby! The car park is good and was free! Will definitely come back again!

TTeoshomeThis hotel is a bit remote to those not driving . But the rate is very reasonable and by taxi is short distance to everywhere near train and outlet for shopping n food . The hotel restaurant for dinner is very good with live music and cost is very reasonable with good service . But you need to do reservation in advance . There is a big supermarket a few steps away that you could buy fresh produce to cook simple meal in your room’s kitchen . The public pool is sufficient and cleanliness is fair . Overall a value for money hotel .
