My partner and I stayed at Hawkstone on a Golfing break away (2 rounds of golf and a 1 night stay). We arrived to find that the booking company had requested a twin room for us but Cheryl was extremely helpful and changed our accommodation for us to a King Size Room. She was also very helpful in giving us some information about local facilities etc... The room itself was very comfortable and everything we needed was at hand. The bed was extremely comfortable and I would have been very happy to take it home haha. The food was amazing and all of the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The two golf courses were well-maintained and we both enjoyed playing here. Would we stay here again? Yes absolutely, though next time we will be booking direct rather than through a booking company.

Mia moglie e io abbiamo recentemente viaggiato a Shrewsbury (da Chicago) come parte di un tour di gruppo.Abbiamo prenotato la nostra 2 notti all'Anton Guest House.Abbiamo trovato le nostre camere molto pulite, ben progettate e comode. Anton Guest House è situato in un tranquillo quartiere, una passeggiata facile nella città. Abbiamo anche sentito che il nostro soggiorno presso Anton Guest House era un grande valore. Il proprietario, Louise, non avrebbe potuto essere più grazioso, amichevole o personale. Ci ha fatto sentire a casa fin dall'inizio. Amo il tempo del colazione; il delizioso cibo che Louise ci ha fatto era un modo per iniziare il giorno. Con una bella varietà di scelte di colazione a disposizione, ogni mattina può essere un nuovo trattamento. Raccomando vivamente alla Casa degli ospiti di Anton a chiunque rimanga a Shrewsbury. Certamente vi prenoteremo di nuovo quando torneremo. Grazie Louise!

What a lovely hotel. Very quite, outside of the main town, with lovely views of the hills and countryside. Clean and tidy, with plenty of hand sanitiser at both entrances and at the desk. Very friendly lady on reception… I think her name was Sarah. My first venture out in a very long time to visit friends in Shrewsbury, and I have to say I will definitely stay here again. My room was spotless, and lovely and warm. Had breakfast in the restaurant next door and it was excellent… I met the Manager Heather who is from my neck of the woods, and she was brilliant. Very friendly and welcoming. My friends recommended me to stay here and I’m glad I did.

Le camere di Shrewsbury, che si trovavano a Shrewsbury durante la nostra visita di giorno, sono state difficili da trovare.Il prezzo dell'Hotel Station suggerisce un hotel di qualità media e adatto per le nostre esigenze urgenti. Siamo stati un po' stressati nel cercare l'hotel e poi ancora più nel trovare un parcheggio vicino alle strade di Shrewsbury (anche se si trovasse contro la stazione ferroviaria) C'era un piccolo segno nella finestra dell'hotel che descriveva un numero di contatto per organizzare la consegna delle chiavi! che abbiamo perso. Spingendo sulla porta chiusa non ha aiutato! Invece, ci avevano guidati da un vicino a un pub per raccogliere le chiavi (il pub sbagliato ci ha poi guidato al pub giusto). Il personale del pub ha assistito brillantemente e ha fornito informazioni e chiavi e un bel benvenuto. La camera dell'hotel era un po' piccola ma abbastanza confortevole con doccia - ma nessun acqua calda. È un standard assoluto per qualsiasi hotel. Il personale del pub ha assistito di nuovo all'inizio della caldaia e tutto era bene per la mattina. Era un'esperienza inaspettata e il prezzo era costoso, considerando che non c'era colazione! Spero che i commenti aiuteranno chiunque pianificasse una visita.

Absolutely shambolic: Booked premier plus room for 2 nights: air con didn’t work so first night was literally the worst nights sleep. So hot I needed to use my inhaler! No maintenance so had to move to a normal room (no premier plus rooms available) for the second night, Couldn’t gain access through the back so had to walk all the way around after we’d been out - no one answered the buzzer….. Breakfast on day 1 was disgusting. No staff, bacon was dramatically undercooked and off. Bananas were bad. Second room - curtains hanging off the rail and no net curtains Hugely understaffed, I actually felt sorry for them, far too much which meant that the lady on breakfast on the first morning just couldn’t manage. Complaint lodged with Premier Inn but avoid st all costs!!
