Located very centrally on gopi circle, mg palace hotel is good for solo travellers. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, tidy toilets, helpful staff ready to do your bidding make this ideal for short stays. They do not have a restaurant nor operate a kitchenette for hot beverage, so right from early morning till late night one has to order from elsewhere through app or staff or go out for requirements. Lot many choises nearby for hot n cold beverages, veg n non veg options, fast food, food courts, etc ensure one is not inconvenienced on this account. Business area with lots of shopping n mall too nearby makes the stay good. One problem is the tv n dish conk out and takes time to get rectified. Needs overhaul n told the manager too.

Sono rimasto in questo posto mentre andava a Mattur. Onestamente, le recensioni mi sembravano buone e sono un viaggiatore di bilancio, mi sono sempre cercato hotel economici. Anche se non erano economici, ma mi sembrava buono. La posizione era buona, sembrava molto interiore. La parte peggiore era il proprietario, era molto brutto e duro. Ho avuto alcune riunioni la notte per le quali ho chiesto una connessione WiFi e lui rapidamente ha detto di no. Non capisco per un paio di riunioni, quanto WiFi avrei usato. E quando abbiamo prolungato il nostro soggiorno, ha continuato a chiamare nella stanza per pagare, sapendo che lo pagheremmo al mattino. Quando mi chiese come girare il geyser, per cui doveva mandare qualcuno, e quando mi chiese perché non è ancora arrivato, cominciò a gridare a me. Questa è la prima volta che ho avuto una cattiva esperienza in hotel. Oltre a questo comportamento brutto, il riposo era buono.

La stanza era tediana. La lavanderia era pura e ben mantenuta. Situata nel centro della città con tutte le strutture disponibili nelle vicinanze. In generale una buona esperienza.

One of best hotels we have stayed so far. The hotel MD Mr. Gururaj was personally taking care of us and helped us ***** with his staff to plan our trips. The rooms were clean and the toilets were very well maintained. The attached Restaurant serves all kinds of Veg cuisines. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. This place is very well close to Bhadra Tiger Reserves, Jog Falls, Sakrebylu Elephant Camp and a plethora of ancient Shiva temples. I would definitely visit this hotel next year with my family to catch up with more exciting adventures in & around Shimoga.
