This is Good Heritage Hotel on Mall Road. Excellent Staff and Hospitality

Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel.
I will certainly choose this hotel in the future if I am visiting Shimla.

pernottato al termine del tour in Spiti/kinnaur valleys. Due ****le su Shimla. Il centro di Shimla merita una visita per la sua struttura British, per la sua collocazione in cima ad un colle, per il suo bazar, che merita una visita. Vi sono inoltre numerosi ristoranti degni di esser visitati. La sistemazione nell'hotel Clarkes è stata eccellente. L'hotel è ben posizionato, sul mall, quindi si esce dall'hotel e si è su una strada chiusa al traffico, in centro. L'hotel è "heritage", quindi d'epoca. Camera Ok, elegante, ben arredata. La struttura è un po piccola e ***ca di spa e di giardino degno di questo nome, ma la posizione e l'atmosfera co****sano le ***canze. Personale gentilissimo, Il ragazzo alla reception mi ha aiutato a fare il check in on line per il volo di rientro in Italia, la colazione è stata eccellente e servita con squisita cortesia dal personale di sala. La Quinta stella va ascritta alla cortesia delle persone che lavorano nell'hotel. Grazie per l'ospitalità.

Hotel con un servizio di gran classe, posto in posizione strategica sulla principale via pedonale di Shimla (Mall road). Peccato che essendo pedonale, arrivando in macchina sia necessario sobbarcarsi una bella salita con gli scalini dal parcheggio al livello della reception. Fortunatamente dei poveri bellmen si sobbarcano i bagagli sulla schiena e li portano per te. Il servizio è da hotel di gran classe dei tempi passati: personale in livrea, bel tovagliato al ristorante con servizio al tavolo. Il tutto nell'atmosfera vagamente coloniale dell'albergo. E fin qui ci siamo, essendo definito un gran heritage hotel. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una suite, molto ampia, con un letto comodo, estremamente pulita, ma una rimodernata al bagno, ad esempio, non ci starebbe male (una vasca con tenda di plastica non me la aspettavo). È comunque stata un'ottima scelta volendo alloggiare in centro.

Excellent all round from arriving , staying , dining to departure. Very polite & pleasant all staff members at ALL times.Very personal too. The suite was perfect as was the minibar. Breakfast was perfect both in Indian cuisine and also continental foods.

Great view ,friendly staff and excellent service.The view of the mountain was also great.Buffet was also great.If you are a bird watcher then you can find ***y exotic bird species in the morning.all the inns are also very beautiful.Overall a good place to stay.

This historic hotel is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Shimla. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff very friendly and courteous, the food is excellent. Situated on the Mall, it is close to all the attractions of Shimla, but an oasis of calm and relaxation, It was lovely to watch the sun set, sipping drinks on the terrace.

Beautiful property,long time dream to stay in this .on our anniversary our kids gave us a surprise of oberoi Clarks.enjoyed the hotel. All staff members and ***ager Samir Kaul were very nice and helpful in everyway.The dinning room staff Dhani Ram ,Puran,Mehar etc were so good in serving us and made us to taste every item of the menu.really enjoyed the place. Thanks the team Clarks.

Wonderful stay room was an excellent nice view and the room was deeply cleaned. I ordered room service and the food was very tasty. The restaurant staff was very helpful and the restaurant service was extraordinary. I am very happy with the food and service. My stay was impressive.
