This is a very well managed service apartment situated right next to Sea World Square in Shekou Port. Pros: (1) Very spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine, etc. (2) Excellent location - subway station is right downstairs, and the bars and cafes of Sea World Square is 3 minutes walk away. (3) Very affordable for Western business travelers. Cons: (1) The Siemens laundry/dryer is tricky to operate and tends to remain locked after a cycle. You need to look online to figure how to release the lock mechanically. The business should consider replacing these Siemens or provide explicit explanation about this lock-up problem.

The hotel.is located right above Houhai Metro Station making it super covenient to move around the city in public transportation. Rooms are tastefuly decorated and very comfortable. This is the 2nd time I stay at the Hyde and would not choose another hotel. There is a lot of food shops for all tastes and cusines around the hotel too. However the best asset the hotel has is Miss Della. She was always trying to help and beyond everytime. Plus she always did it with a big smile. She made going into the lobby feel like coming home.

Our experience at the hotel was wonderful! The staff’s attention to detail made our baby shower celebration truly special, and we are so grateful for their efforts. The hotel itself was elegant and beautifully designed, creating a perfect atmosphere for our stay. During our two-night visit, we enjoyed a great selection of breakfast options and found the gym facilities to be exceptional—a real treat for fitness enthusiasts. It was a fantastic stay overall! Cove by Hyatt Shekou Cruise Centre is ideally situated just 300 meters from the ferry terminal, offering convenience for those arriving from Hong Kong. The newly opened K11 Mall is only 20 meters away, and Shenzhen Metro’s Taiziwan Station on Line 12 has four exits within 20 meters, ensuring excellent connectivity. The hotel staff provided seamless service, making check-in and check-out effortless. Despite arriving during a busy holiday week, our room was ready at 1:00 PM. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with a tea set, which helped calm the kids. Their attention to detail was impressive, particularly Ms. Coco, who went above and beyond to assist us. She not only answered our queries but also helped us book taxis and provided guidance on various attractions in Shenzhen. Breakfast had a great mix of Western and local Chinese options. We initially booked a city-view room but would recommend the sea-view room for a better experience. The only downside was the absence of a swimming pool. Overall, the hotel’s prime location, excellent service, and thoughtful hospitality made our stay enjoyable. If you plan to visit, opting for a sea-view room will enhance your experience.

A 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione mtr. Abbiamo un aggiornamento gratuito in una stanza con bagno. I miei figli amano così tanto. Il buffet per colazione è stato bello con una varietà di cibo e bevande. I miei figli hanno chiesto di restare qui quando saremo a SZ la prossima volta.

The room was smaller than expected, but it would be fine for a one-night stay. The surrounding area mostly consists of residential buildings. There’s a small supermarket across the street where you can get basic necessities, and the nearby streets are lined with small local restaurants. The train station is not close. It’s also convenient to get a taxi （called 滴滴/高德）although I noticed that the driver stopped on the opposite side of the road both times. Waiting time is ard 10mins to be arrived for peak hours around 8:00am. I checked in late at 7 PM, and it seemed like the hotel was pretty fully booked. I was assigned a room near the elevator with higher floor, however no particular view. Fortunately, the soundproofing was good, and I wasn’t disturbed by the elevator or other guests coming and going. There is a table in the hallway offering free can soda. The air conditioning in the room was very powerful and controlled via a smart voice assistant (小度）If you can’t speak in Mandarin, it wud be a little bit not convenient. The aircon automatically defaulted to 16°C when turned on. While cleaning the desk and bedside tables with disinfectant wipes, which is my habit, I noticed that both bedside tables were covered in dust, which was a bit disappointing. The bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water in speed. There was even a shower footrest. However, the showerhead was leaking, which affected the water flow—a letdown given that this is a new hotel and such issues should be rare. On a positive note, the bathroom had a smart toilet with a heated seat. You could even flush it by tapping twice with your foot, which was a nice touch! Also provided charging cables, that is definitely a plus. The hairdryer provided at the hotel room is designed to resemble Dyson’s style. Since I have an actual Dyson at home, I’m quite familiar with it and can make a comparison. I was pleasantly surprised that this hairdryer performed so well—it’s almost as powerful as Dyson. While my Dyson usually takes 5 minutes to dry my hair, this hairdryer took another 5 minutes to achieve similar results, leaving my hair perfectly smooth. The only downside is that it’s slightly noisier than Dyson. For those who care about having smooth hair every day and are accustomed to using Dyson products, this hotel’s hairdryer can definitely meet your expectations. There was a nightlight near the skirting board by the door, which I thought was considerate and well-designed. Above the sink, there was a mirror with a light—thankfully, as the room itself felt a bit dim without it. All the hotel staff were extremely polite. When asked for extra bottled water at the front desk, the staff immediately provided two bottles per person, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was more Chinese-style but had a good variety. Considering the price, the inclusion of breakfast made it a great deal. One major issue I encountered in the room was with the air conditioning. While the default 16°C was too cold, adjusting it to 23°C resulted in the mattress retaining a lot of heat. It felt like lying on a heated massage bed which made it impossible to sleep comfortably. I eventually had to set the air conditioning back to 16°C, but the mattress still felt warm, leaving me sleepless all night. When checking out, the front desk asked for feedback, so I mentioned the issue with the mattress. The two staff members were friendly and suggested that next time we inform them immediately rather than enduring the discomfort all night. While they assured us they could arrange something, I honestly can’t imagine how they could resolve such an issue—could they replace the mattress? Regardless, we appreciated their kindness. Even the housekeeping staff we encountered in the hotel were very polite, greeting us warmly and expressing hope to serve us again in the future. Their friendliness was truly commendable.

I recently stayed at the Golden Jade Hotel near Nanshan Zhongshan Station and had a mostly positive experience. Room Quality: The rooms are very clean and new, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. The modern amenities, including an excellent ToTo toilet that reminded me of Japan, added to the overall comfort. Location: The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, being right next to the station. This makes it easy to get around and explore the area. Unique Features: One of the standout features of the hotel is the robot delivery service. It's a fun and efficient way to receive items directly to your room. Additionally, the bathroom features automatic electric glass, which can be amusing to try. However, it's worth noting that not everyone might appreciate it. When one person is taking a shower, the bathroom light is very bright and can disturb the other person in the room. The sound of the shower water hitting the glass can also be quite loud. Air Conditioning Issue: The only downside I encountered was the air conditioning. It would automatically turn off every morning between 8 to 9 am. Despite my efforts to turn it back on, it would shut off again after a while. I asked the staff about this issue, but they were unsure of the cause. They mentioned a possible timer, but I couldn't find any way to set or disable it. Overall Experience: Despite the air conditioning issue and the quirks of the bathroom glass, my stay at Golden Jade Hotel was enjoyable. The cleanliness, modern amenities, and convenient location make it a great choice for travelers. However, it would be helpful if the hotel could address the air conditioning problem and consider adding a few more hook for hanging towels for guests.
