Sharja: hotel con bar

Stay was Excellent. Room is nice and furnished with kettle, iron, etc. only missing was hair dryer. Hotel facilities were great. They got a small pool and gym. Location is next to Sharjah Expo Centre and for shopping, it is closer to Nesto. Staff were excellent- during our check-in process, Ms. Sharon was supportive in sorting the procedures and get it done smoothly. Breakfast Restaurant was Orient, well supplied to meet different cuisine. Its value for money stay and extremely happy with the stay.

Keep in mind several of these issues are related to the fact that the hotel is understaffed. 1st, they don't always answer the phone (Both when you're staying at the hotel or just considering it) Here are a number of issues we faced during our stay, within the character limit. They increase the AC temp during night time in the summer ”to save power” although it's very hot (＞35 degrees celsius at night) We booked a presidential suite. We were told that the difference between it & an executive suite was that the presidential suite had a jacuzzi, so we figured why not. We were told on the phone that there was valet parking. This was not the case when we arrived. There was no valet parking. There was basement parking, which was a bit narrow/uncomfortable in certain spots but overall fine. Upon arrival, there was only 1 receptionist available. I suggest they hire 1-2 more to deal with customers checking in & out and with those who have questions & to pick up the phone. This poor single receptionist was printing papers, checking ID's, talking with 2 groups of customers checking in as well as a group checking out, answering phone calls, & opening/closing parking gates. The one good thing about our stay was his assistance - Leonardo, so I would like to thank him & I hope he gets a raise. After checking in, we went to our presidential suite. 1st impressions were positive at the beginning - it looked nice & I liked the blue carpet's colour & the paint was bright. However, after that, cracks started to appear in our view. The flat TV screen was small & ancient. It was also bolted in such a way that concealed the ports behind the TV. This led to our 1st negative interaction with maintenance & IT. The person who responded said they were in the process of getting new TVs & that only 2 in the entire hotel had an HDMI cable port. I knew that was false. He insisted. When I kept questioning him about it, he said he'd send someone to check it out. Leonardo the receptionist showed up along with the maintenance guy, & they both unscrewed a screw behind the TV to allow us to check behind it, where we saw there was indeed an HDMI cable & it worked. The bed's mattress was as hard as the floor. The pillows were meh. But the worst thing about the bedroom was this wind chime that was right in front of the A/C vents. I'm not sure what decor genius thought this was a good idea, because it was terrible. Every time we closed our eyes to sleep they would jingle & wake us up. Next, the bathrooms. There were 2, which was good, but one of them had a clogged up sink so the water rose quickly. The other bathroom with the jacuzzi & the shower had a broken heater. The false ceiling had markings of mould/humidity/leaking water & so on. The water coming from the jacuzzi was only lukewarm. It rendered the jacuzzi unusable. Sono rimasto in questo hotel nel settembre. Tutto è buono. Il 95% dei vacanze in questo hotel sono russi. Le camere sono grandi e pulite, sono pulite perfettamente, la lenzuola viene cambiata ogni altro giorno, c'è una caldaia, tè, caffè e 1.5 litri d'acqua vengono forniti quotidianamente. L'hotel dispone di una piscina privata e di una spiaggia di sabbia. Ci sono ombrelli, salotto solare e asciugamani sulla spiaggia. La spiaggia e la piscina sono aperte alle 7 e alle 6:00. Non mi piaceva che quando la spiaggia è aperta, le persone correvano e si sedevano, e poi andavano a letto e hanno fatto colazione, mentre altri non avevano abbastanza sedili a causa di questo. Il colazione è piuttosto debole, ma non lascerai la fame, le uova schiacciate iniziano a essere fritte da 7.30-8.00 a.m. , nonostante il fatto che il colazione inizia a 6.00. La gente dice che il pranzo e la cena sono buoni, ma non sono stati inclusi per me. Il hotel è situato nelle periferie della città, quindi è necessario prendere un taxi al centro (15 dirham). L'hotel offre anche trasferimenti a diversi centri commerciali di Sharjah e a Dubai, che si trova attraverso la linea della metropolitana. Mi consiglio di andare a Dubai con ferry. Так получилось, что нам попался горящий тур по смешной цене, и за два дня сборов мы прибыли в Шарджу. К слову говоря, мы уже были в ОАЭ в в 2017 году, побывав на всех популярных экскурсиях, и я на этот раз надеялась на пляжный отдых. Учитывая обстоятельства, в условиях пандемии, я думала что львиную долю буду готовить сама на мини-кухне, которой насколько я поняла оснащены всё номера. Мой туроператор подтвердила, что сама здесь отдыхала раннее и у неё в распоряжении была и кухня и две сковородки, и одна кастрюлька. Но ни тут то было. При заселении, к моему изумлению, мне предоставили номер с поломанной кухонной мебелью, без плитки и холодильника и раковины на кухнешке. Конечно, начали предлагать доплатить 700 баксов за семейный двух комнатный аппартамент, мол там и кухня и даже стол со стульями как прям на картинке с сайта. Мне пришлось продемонстрировать характер (а он у меня тяжёлый патаму шта золотой), после звонков и разборок с представителем Анекстура, с горем пополам, нам дали номер поприличнее, с мини холодильником, раковиной но без плитки, но справедливости ради отмечу что микроволновка и чайник имелись. В моем распоряжении было две плоских тарелки, вилки, ложки, кружки. Я тут же обзавелась посудой в ближайшем супермаркете, ножом, стеклянный кастрюлей и парой пиалок и освоила готовку в микроволновке с помощью гугл)) Мы покупали свежие овощи и фрукты, делали салаты, готовили на гарнир рис и пасту. Курицу и прочее брали готовое в супермаркете есть отдел, кстати мясо готовят оччень остро, при употреблении кажется что наступил армагидон, а куда деваться, на вопрос ноу спайс, отрицательно качают головой, не класть же зубы на полку. Всё равно, те кто брал тур с питанием жаловались на однообразие меню. Вам решать. Здесь заведено гостям выдавать всего два больших полотенца, хотя отель себя позиционирует как четыре звезды. Сначала я думала что персонал на меня зуб точит, за тот скандал при заселении, но потом выяснилось у других туристов тоже так. Да и то после наведении порядка, горничная и их уносит. Вернувшись с пляжа надо вылавливать горничную что бы выпросить их. В целом отель не плохой, номер просторный, правда без балкона, зато оснащен тремя видами занавесок, начиная от блокаутов до модельных, из за чего темно днём как и ночью. А ночью вообще хоть глаз выколи. Думаю, это сделано для защиты от жары и шума. С освещением тут печалька, если вы любите чтобы везде были светильники и подсветки то вам явно не сюда. В целом, в номере всегда очень темно днём и ночью одинаково, можно все ноги переломать, если вы проснулись среди ночи, то нет ни одного светильника или бра. Верхний и единственный плафон включается только возле входа и светит тускло. Видимо с электричеством тут контроль и учёт, вся электротехника подключена напрямую без розеток. Не спешите покупать втридорого переходник для телефонов, как советовал нам отельный гид, телефон в принципе можно заряжать от розетки от фена. Зато здесь шикарная кровать, просто огромная, мужа на
