This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The room was equipped with a heater, which was a lifesaver in keeping us warm and comfortable during the chilly weather. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making our stay even more pleasant. What stood out the most was the owner’s care and attentiveness. My wife experienced severe altitude sickness, and the owner immediately came to our aid, providing glucose to help her recover and feel better. This level of care and compassion is truly remarkable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, clean, and welcoming place to stay!

The room is wide and well equipped with oxygen and floor heating and owner provided unlimited mineral water .Very recommended

Superb!!!! The best hotel with the great service. The staff offered us free pick up & sent to & from the train station & help us a lot during our stay. The room is really comfortable with 5 star standard. Next trip to Shangrila definetly will stay here again.

the room is beautiful . Room is clean with floor warmer and portable oxygen available too.  Host are quite friendly and are very helpful. location is few metres away from the temple.  For muslim traveller, halal lanzou noodles is just around the corner. I definitely will recommend people coming to this hotel.

First of all, throughout my Yunnan trip. I would say this hotel goes above and beyond to make me feel at home. The host were incredibly welcoming, even you can feel the warm welcome just before you check in, the host welcomed with me open arms, they will open the floor heater in advance before your arrival. Located in toldtown of shangrila and its easy for you to get around the oldtown by walking. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! A truly unforgettable experience. They even provided a ride to the train station for FREE! Which was so thoughtful...Highly recommend this place for anyone that are looking to stay in the oldtown of Shangrila.

A Family of 6 from Malaysia: I traveled for 11 days and stayed at 4 different hotels. What I want to say is: No need to think twice—just book this hotel! You will never regret it. I highly recommend it, 10/10. To be honest, this is the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my time in Yunnan! I’m so grateful that I chose this hotel. I booked two rooms for 3 days and 2 nights, and I wish I could have stayed longer! The room was incredibly comfortable. The TV had many channels, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Even though the weather outside was -12°C, we didn’t feel cold at all. The room was very warm, the heater worked great, and the toilet had a heater as well. The floors were heated too. The room looked exactly as advertised—huge, brand new, and super clean! The hotel offers all the basic facilities you need, such as a washing machine and a microwave. But among all the wonderful facilities and rooms, the biggest applause goes to the owner himself! The owner is extremely kind and helpful. He arranged a day trip for my family to Balagezong, lent us jackets for free, and even helped us with our luggage. He greeted us warmly upon arrival and waited for us so kindly. He also drove us to the railway station for free! Drinking water (bottled) is unlimited. It was available at the corner, and we could take it for free. I left my glasses in the car we rented for the Balagezong trip. The owner arranged to retrieve them from the driver, had them sent to me by express delivery, and I received them the next day. It was so meaningful to me, as I can’t see without my glasses! Oh, and if you're Muslim, there is a halal restaurant just two minutes' walk from the hotel. The owner guided us there. There are also many places to eat nearby, including Mixue, and a convenient store. Didi can take you directly to the front of the hotel. It’s very convenient! I really want to send my heartfelt thanks and kudos to the owner for such wonderful service and kindness. They are doing an excellent job taking care of the hotel. I really loved it, and I hope to visit again someday. Wishing the owner a long, healthy, and prosperous life! Thanks so much again for your amazing services ❤️

Best 5 Stars! Very warm, friendly and genuine owners. Easy communication, nice room equipped with heated flooring, humidifier (very important for Shangri-La dry weather), and Oxygen tank if needed. The room is clean. Location is good, very short walking distance to Dukezong ancient town. My family had a great time staying in this place. The owner, Mr.Xiong even sent us to the station on our departure day. The best homestay we have stayed during our Yunnan trip! Highly recommended to all

The place so huge!! Very comfortable .owner so helpful. Please stay here. Recommended!!

Location is inside dukezong ancient city. Didi can rch directly. Place is very clean. Wifi is good. Right outside is convenience store and quite a lot of food. Abt 5 min walk to guishan park entrance. Owner and his wife and son are all very friendly people. I took a tour to rch here, came early intending to bag drop but owner allowed me to check in early. Hot water is pretty much instantaneous here, dont need to wait. Slight lack of plugs. Cos they also provide oxygen machine and humidifier and electric bed warmer haha. All life savers as night here is very cold and dry. Laundry also available on second level but no dryer though. On my last night i came back freezing and owner son offered me nescafe coffee bags! Cant believe got nescafe in shangri-la haha! Owner also provide transport to shangri-la station upon check out. Lady boss offered me ginger tea when she heard i caught a cold. Very friendly people. There is also a dog here that greets all people politely. Overall a great stay!
