Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Scarborough

What I loved: Excellent location and beautiful room. Coles is just across the road,& beach is right infront of the hotel! Pool area is just gorgeous ! Like at a villa! What I didn’t like: Not sure if it is design of the doors, but the heavy slamming of doors really bothered me throughout my 3nights. No room slippers or toothpaste in the room. Breakfast selection was disappointing.

Ottima posizione e camere molto pulite e spaziose. Il check-in è stato molto strano, fatto aspettare la camera dopo l'orario di check-in. Eravamo al secondo piano a cui non puoi accedere con l'ascensore, dovresti prendere un ascensore su un piano e poi salire le scale, questo è davvero strano, specialmente con un carrello dei bagagli e due bambini piccoli dovrebbero salire le scale . Dopo una conversione ci è stato permesso di salire su un altro ascensore come una tantum con i bagagli, ma abbiamo dovuto prendere la combinazione di scale dell'ascensore ogni volta che siamo partiti o siamo tornati. Sarebbero state quattro stelle se non fosse stato per questo.

We've stayed here quite a few times and it's still the perfect place to stay for access to the beach, proximity to shops etc. We always book the two bedroom with partial ocean view. They are always well presented and comfortable. Being fully self contained it's so easy to make your own meals and save a few holiday dollars. You can either sit inside at the table inside or outside on the balcony watching the sun set over the ocean. Coming from the Eastern States we often arrive late at night, but it's easy to get the key from the lock box to access the accommodation and see reception in the morning. Service here is always with a smile. Parking is available either under the accommodation or just out the front. Wi-fi was via password and was fast and consistent. We had a washing machine and dryer, as well as a clothes airer. A real home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay again and will definitely be back.

Would definitely stay here again. Super friendly service at reception. Clean rooms, basic but everything you need. Cool bar downstairs. It’s a short walk into town and the beach, perfect place to stay while in Scarbs. Yes it’s an old hotel but they have tried to capture the retro vibes ✌️
