Recentemente ci siamo trasferiti al Grand Mercury di Sapporo e abbiamo avuto un'esperienza di genere positiva. La posizione dell'hotel è molto strategica, consentendo un facile accesso a diverse attrazioni della città. Uno dei principali punti di parcheggio è stato il parcheggio gratuito, che ha aggiunto un grande comodità al nostro soggiorno.
La stanza era molto grande, offrendo spazio ampio ai nostri bambini per andare in giro, che era un grande plus per noi. Inoltre, la posizione è piuttosto tranquilla, assicurando un sonno tranquillo di notte. Anche se l'hotel era abbastanza pulito, non era senza spot. Il servizio era buono, con molte opzioni di autoservizio disponibili, che potrebbero essere più adatte ad alcuni ospiti che ad altri. Nel complesso, il Grand Mercury è una buona scelta se si cerca un posto conveniente, camere spaziose e parcheggio gratuito a Sapporo.

Hotel was about 10min walk from Sapporo Station - look for signage to Emion Hotel - you can walk on street level or underground walkway which is covered all the way. The building next to Emion is brand new (forgot the name) - this building has a direct lift that leads to the underground walkway. Exit 15 will lead you to a few Izakaya places and it's fully covered the walkway. Breakfast was good with local fare such as japanese curry with rice, soba, miso, fried chicken (was good!), various juices, fruits and desserts - breakfast ends at 930am. The onsen on 2nd floor is open to public but hotel guests can go in for free - opens till late 1am almost everyday. Hotel will issue the onsen card to all hotel guests separately. 7Eleven right downstairs for convenience. We had a three bedder, was a bit squeezy - see photo. bathroom had a tub which was a good surprise. toilet is separated fr bathroom. No gym though which is why i gave 4 stars for facilities.

Strategic location, only 100m walk to Tanukikoji and nearest Subway station Susukino. Family Mart convenience store below the hotel for emergency food and drinks supplies.
The room itself was spacious and relatively bigger than other hotels in Sapporo, equipped with microwave, washing + dryer machine. It was also clean. If required, you could also request for extra bowls / cutleries from the front desk, which we did. The microwave was a lifesaver as we spent our new year eve and new year day there and most restaurants were closed.
Only downside is the hotel doesn't have a hot spring. The staff also understandably didn't allow us to store our big bags overnight as we were staying at Furano for a night before coming back to Sapporo again.

The staff here are fluent in English which is such a rare find in Japan. We loved the interior decor and vibes of the hotel lobby and our room. Location is alright (walkable to Odori park, Sapporo clock tower & other attractions in that area in around 20-25 minutes). Room size was comfortable as well.

Excellent access to the hotel, from basement and main road, with connecting door to Lawson as well from Cocono Susukino, it makes all within a good reach. Susukino itself is good location for someone who likes bustling city vibes, so many restaurants, and for those who take a day tour package, the bus usually will include Susukino as the pick up/drop off point as well, including the streetcar (tram). It's a walking distance to the famous old Ramen Alley, Mega Donki, many Daruma Jingisukan (Genghis Khan Lamb BBQ) & Suage (Curry Soup) branches around. This hotel is very modern, in terms of room size, it's the usual compact ala japan hotel style. No significant noise can be heard even though it's located smack in the middle of busy junction. Overall is a great choice for me, compare to other 2 hotels that I've tried as well (Nakajima area, Sapporo Station area), would definitely choose this hotel again if I come to Sapporo again in the future.

Mercure Sapporo is conveniently located between Susukino (Namboku line) and Hosuisusukino (Toho line).
The room booked (deluxe double) was spacious (over 40 square meters) and the breakfast selection was decent. My children loved the food!
Jump onto the Tozai line at Odori and you can visit Shiroi Koibito park after a short walk.
Jump onto the JR line at Sapporo and you can reach to further places like Otaru or Noboribetsu.
The service staff are friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended if you’re coming with young kids.

PPetal SWe enjoyed our stay at The b Sapporo for 7 days in late August to early September 2024.
The standard twin room is nice. Air cond and the dehumidifier were running well.
Shower was excellent. Bath towels, toothbrushes and slippers are delivered to the room daily. Toilettes are supplied free at the lobby as well as coffees/teas/ice creams. There is also a coin operated washing machine, it was so handy.
The front desk staff, particularly Nagai and other young girls and boys, and room attendants are very nice and helpful except the Front Desk Manager, a Japanese man, who was rude. He never greeted guests in the morning or evening (either English/Japanese). No smile at all. Even though I said ”Hello, good morning, how are you?” in English and Japanese to him, he had no response and just looked at me, he was so arrogant and impolite! Afterwards, I did not greet him again for the rest of my stay. He definitely needs to go for proper customer service training to improve his attitude as working at the front desk!!!

Room was comfy but not very soundproof. The guests above us were very noticeable; lots of foot stomping and moving around from 7:00am which wasn’t ideal.
Great shower, water pressure was brilliant and the bath products were good.

橘橘子農茶Ho alloggiato in una camera vecchio stile, quindi i servizi della camera erano vecchi, ma nel complesso erano molto puliti. Lo scenario fuori dalla finestra della camera è il Nakajima Park. È molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana di Nakajima Park, ma è lontano dai principali centri commerciali come Tanixiaoji Commercial Street. Se lo desideri, ci vogliono 15 minuti a piedi più tranquillo, puoi scegliere di soggiornare qui. Qui, se vuoi essere vicino al centro commerciale, preferiresti altri hotel!

Staff friendly and helpfull. Htl near Sapporo station, took only 5 min to go to Sapporo Station. For sure I'll be staying at this hotel again soon. Keep up your good work.

AAsiaFamTravels2 small double beds were fine for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great breakfast buffet including wine and ice cream, salmon roe, cod roe and rice porridge for kids! Late checkout incurs a fee of 2000 yen an hour. Right outside exit 9 of JR with complete step-free access from the JR trains. No facilities but at least the lifts are fast. Close to daimaru where there is a Pokémon Heaps of mainland chinese tourists but I would definitely stay again.

UUtente ospiteKaraksa Hotel Sapporo is right smack in the middle of Tanujiko shopping and dining belt. The Ramen Alley is also nearby. It is close to the entrance of Pole Town, which links all the way to Sapporo JR Station.
Walk past Odori metro station in the direction towards Sapporo JR station, you can also easily access Aurora Town on your right, another underground shopping stretch that leads to Aurora Plaza.
The hotel provides free ice-cream and drinks at level 2F. The onsen is also conveniently located at level 2F. A coin laundry service is also found near the onsen area but the dryers don't seem very effective. I had to put enough 100 yen coins to use the dryer for 6 whole hours before they were completely dry!
Room size is just nice for 2 pax, however it would be a tight squeeze for 3 adults. There isn't much hanging space for clothes in the room so I had to improvise by getting S hooks from Diaso.

Location: It was good. If you want to save up on transportation cost, the hotel is legit walking distance to many (like the JR sapporo station that has a mall, the clock tower, etc. Theres also a few convenient stores really close by.
Lobby: I came here when it was snowing so prepare for slippery and dirty floors! Theres also only 2 elevators and a lot of tourists come in groups so you might need to line up to use it.
Amenities: Theres only 2 laundry machines so try not to need to use it because they dont have a system for people using it, making it hard to identify whose clothes belong to when its done so the staff just lets it be there, making it hard for others to use it.
The amenities in the room was standard. I do enjoy the remote control bidet and they have a kid’s washing option which was rare.
Some reviews complained about the cleaning seemed to not read the instructions. Please use the ‘please clean’ or ‘do not disturb’ cards when you stay there and put the cards outside your room before 10 am. This information will be given during check in and they’ll will wait for you to finish reading it.
Room: The room can only fit 1 large luggage and at most 2 mid size luggage. It was pretty small if you have a big body frame.
The room wasn’t that clean. There was dried up chilli oil stain on the table that can easily be wiped off. This lowkey made me wonder how they cleaned the room and there i went on a bit of a cleaning spree on most frequently used places before utilising it.
The pillow was too soft that lowkey feels like nothing and the lighting at the vanity was bad for applying make up.
The air condition was bad in my opinion. They shouldve just not put it on heater mode because it was too warm to feel sleep at night. We had to turn off the heater and open the window to sleep.
Bonus:
- they gave us a few coupons for nearby seafood restaurants
- the room has a purifier + humidifier which is good for the cold weather

Indulgent Buffet Dinners: The star of the show remains the phenomenal buffet dinners. The variety and quality of dishes, spanning Japanese, Western, and even Chinese cuisines, is truly impressive. It's a feast for the senses and the stomach, leaving you fully satisfied and wanting more.
Water Paradise: The Water Kingdom Lagoon is a haven for water lovers of all ages. The massive indoor space features various slides, pools, and attractions, providing endless fun and entertainment.
Soothing Hot Springs: What's a trip to Jozankei without the hot springs? The hotel boasts vast indoor and outdoor baths, each with its unique charm and atmosphere. Immersing myself in the steaming waters, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, was pure bliss.
Delicious Breakfast Spreads: Breakfasts were just as impressive as the dinners, offering a diverse selection of Japanese and Western dishes to fuel your day's adventures.
Japanese Charm: I particularly enjoyed the lovely Japanese-style room. The traditional tatami mats, futon bedding, and overall ambiance instantly transported me to another world, enhancing the authentic Japanese experience.

My return to the Jozankei View Hotel was just as fantastic as my first visit. From the delightful buffet meals and incredible water park to the relaxing hot springs and charming Japanese-style rooms, every aspect contributed to a memorable and rejuvenating stay.
