Durante il soggiorno al Double Tree By Hilton San Juan, io e mio marito abbiamo avuto la migliore esperienza di sempre. Non so perché qualcuno non sarebbe mai d'accordo. Il personale era cordiale, l'intera area era pulita e accogliente per il COVID, e c'era persino acqua e trasporto gratuiti giornalieri per la spiaggia che si trova a pochi passi dall'hotel. L'hotel offre anche teli mare, sdraio e ombrellone! mi sono divertito un mondo!

Non mi fermerò di nuovo. I letti erano abbastanza comodi, ma l'hotel è vecchio e ha bisogno di un lavoro serio. Non ci sono due piscine ma una e è piccola, vecchia e sporca. Il def non vale la tassa di ristorazione che riscuotano e la piccola piscina è l'unica comodità che hanno. Il colazione non è fino a pagare con Hilton e il def non vale $21 per persona. È quasi vale la tassa di aggiornamento di $6.95 come membro di diamante. Il personale del servizio frontale dell'hotel, quando ci siamo reclutati, era grande, ma il personale mattino del servizio e della zona del colazione erano rudi e non benvenuti. In generale non è una scelta ideale per un soggiorno a San Juan.

Grazie per l'eccellente soggiorno. non riuscivamo a trovare il jacuzzi, ma non ci provavamo troppo, neanche. La piscina era molto bello, la pina colada era deliziosa, e le camere erano molto comode. La piscina infinita è sulla collina che guarda l'oceano, è piccola ma bella, e si apre fino a mezzanotte. La spiaggia non è vicina e al più vicino un mare è abbastanza alta, quindi siamo appena rimasti nella zona della piscina.

This was our first stay in this newly renovated “sister”hotel to the Condado Plaza Hotel across the street. I can easily say that this was the best Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed in. The location is just as you cross into the Condado section of San Juan heading east from the cruise ship terminals or at the end if heading from the airport (a $24 taxi ride). It’s a bit quieter than the heart of the Condado. The entire hotel is gleaming— a beautiful airy lobby that opens into the pool area, a breakfast restaurant, and a bar area. We lucked out on an upgrade to a high corner room with panoramic views of the ocean (picture attached) with a wrap around balcony. The room was nicely appointed and definitely upgraded from the previous property. This will be our new favorite when passing through San Juan on the way to adventures beyond. The only negative is the street noise on the side of the hotel but it was balanced by the view in my humble opinion— the view from the other side is of the lagoon also very nice.

Questo è l'hotel perfetto per la mia prima visita a San Juan, e non posso aspettare di tornare. Io e mia madre sono venuto a celebrare il compleanno di mia madre. E quando ci ha detto di fare il check-in, ci sono stati concessi qualche drink per rimborsare prima di lasciare l'hotel per celebrare l'occasione. Grazie Sylviani & Sabilya. Estupendo & Professional in ogni momento! Il personale ci ha trattato bene. Mi piaceva che l'hotel fornisse servizio di navetta da e a Old San Juan & a uno dei vicini dalle spiagge. La nostra vista dal 5° piano era anche grande. Possiamo vedere la piscina e la sorgente d'acqua lungo la strada. La posizione era grande, e molte cose da fare a piedi. Il quartiere T-Mobile era a 2 minuti a piedi. ******, 5 minuti a piedi. Assicurati di ottenere le foto davanti al segno PR che amo che è vicino. Grazie ancora e spero di vedervi presto!

The location is located at the center of Old San Juan. In front of Marmalade, one of the highly rated restaurants. Have 2 rooftops. Wish there are pools but its in old san juan so its hard to have that lol. but their rooftop is nice. Bar was not open tho. Maybe because it is off season. There is a 24 hour front desk which is good. Staffs are nice. I actually never had a complain.

UUtente ospiteIl centro di Wi-Fi è un hotel molto pulito e con molti posti per mangiare a pochi passi, un teatro cinematografico, un negozio di prodotti alimentari e una farmacia in strada. La stanza era pulita e aveva un ghiaccio, un grande bagno e un frigorifero. L'unica cosa che mi migliorerebbe è la luce nelle stanze - un po' diluita se dovete fare qualche lavoro - hanno solo lampade e un piccolo accenno nel tetto - almeno nella stanza che ero dentro. Il bagno in camera mia era molto piccolo, non poteva tenere la spazzatura, il rasoio, eccetera come la maggior parte dei bagni. Questi sono piccoli inconvenienti - in generale è un posto molto bello per stare, il personale è molto amichevole e utile e la posizione era grande.

BBryan DockensL'hotel è stato perfettamente situato per camminare in tutto il vecchio San Juan. Il luogo è davvero caratteristico, portando fuori il suo ambiente storico, fornendo le comodità moderne. I servitori di ufficio erano piacevoli e utili.
Purtroppo, come molti impianti negli ultimi anni, la custodia quotidiana è stata abbassata, il che è un problema in un luogo in cui la carta da toletta deve essere gettata nel cestino, piuttosto che spruzzata. Abbiamo lasciato il pannello sul nodo della porta, chiedendo il servizio della cameriera, ma non ha avuto alcun effetto.

Non lo lontano dalla zona balneare (circa 5 min d’auto o 5 USD con Uber) e solo poco in più per la “Vecchia” San Juan. Ampie le camere e comodo il letto e sopratutto i cuscini (rarità).

SSkylaGDove cominciare? Ho avuto un bel tempo in questo ostello. Ho sempre avuto un saluto così amichevole, e le camere sono sempre state pulite e ben mantenute dall'eccellente custode, Edwin. Egli era così gentile e si consigliava di fare grandi consigli, e manteneva la camera e il bagno molto ben mantenuti e puliti. Dinelys e Nina erano tanto utile e benvenuti, soprattutto perché era la mia prima volta in un ostello. Mi sono divertito per la prima volta così tanto che sono tornato per altre 4 notti pochi giorni dopo! E grazie a Dio ho incontrato alcune persone incredibili durante la mia visita di ritorno! Il tetto è meraviglioso, e mi sentivo molto a casa. La spiaggia è a veloce 6-10 minuto a piedi, e ci sono molte cose da mangiare e negozi intorno. Rimarrà assolutamente di nuovo la prossima volta che sono a San Juan! 🤍🤍

DDermasLa Terraza is a nice boutique hotel in old San Juan and located great. We had a balcony suite, and it was surprisingly clean and spacious. We had to ask for towels each day, but those at the desk were very kind about getting us what we needed. The pool looked like a large infinity in the picture, but really it was a tiny wading pool...the rooftop terrace was lovely and inviting for a midnight rendezvous. We wish the bar was open or the drink machine worked, and it would've been nice.
The breakfast was delightful and homemade...and there was always coffee or tea available.
I would definitely stay here again for its quaintness and location. We had a fine stay.

UUtente ospiteHere’s a brief summary of our family’s stay at Comfort Inn, San Juan for five days in August 2022. The GOOD – Location: It’s a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and the hotel offers complimentary beach towels, sun umbrellas, and lounge chairs for your use. There’s also a Cartier store at the end of the block, so you’re in a decent part of town, and there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance; Rooms: Our room was clean and bright. It looks like it had been renovated in the not-too-distant past. Good water pressure, nice TV, clean linen, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; Breakfast: There are some nice options included in the breakfast. Hot items (cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, country potatoes), cereal, make-it-yourself waffles, pastries, fresh fruit (bananas, apples, clementine oranges), yogurt, and a variety of juices; Hotel pool: It’s small but very nice. In addition to the pool, there’s also a hot tub for the adults and a kids’ wading pool. Lots of lounge chairs and towels. Fitness center: It has nice equipment and is in good condition, located by the pool; Housekeeping staff: We interacted with several members of the housekeeping staff and they were all extremely helpful and friendly. High marks in that department! The BAD – Parking: Technically, there is a parking lot at the hotel but it only holds about eight cars, at best. Beyond that, you’ll need to park in a garage down the street for about $20/night. The hotel was in the process of repaving the parking lot while we were there but I don’t think it will result in adding any additional spaces; Flooding: The street on two sides of the hotel flooded to a depth of about 8 inches twice during the five days we were there. Not sure what causes it, but it’s apparently an ongoing issue. If you want to get past the flooding, you have to get creative on how to access the front door. Not impossible, but also not ideal. The DEHUMIDIFIER – The first night we were there, we woke up in the morning to find that the floor in our room was WET. Not damp, but WET. As in, a “Maybe we should go look for a mop” kind of wet. It was at that point that we noticed a dehumidifier under the desk in the room. The digital readout read, “Current humidity: 85%”. I don’t doubt it. Once I turned the dehumidifier on, we left it on for the remainder of our stay. It did help IMMENSELY but we had to empty the bucket in the dehumidifier down the shower drain about twice a day, so it was an ongoing process. We also noticed a dehumidifier in the hallway so humidity is apparently an issue there as well. SUMMARY – Overall, we were happy with our stay. The amenities are nice and the price isn’t bad, considering the prices of other hotels in the same vicinity. Parking isn’t ideal and neither is the flooding. And as long as you don’t mind keeping up with the dehumidifier, the room is pleasant to stay in. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles, but there’s not a lot that seems lacking either.

UUtente ospiteI will start with the most important reason for the low rating. The hotel is not clean. We had to wear shoes in our room because it had not been swept. The building next door is under construction and work starts at 7am sharp - no sleeping in if your balcony faces that side. Speaking of the balcony, when it rained, water came in from under the door. To help lessen the strong musty smell we had to keep the A/C super cold. There were mosquitos in the room both alive and smeared on the walls - see photos. The bed skirts have not been laundered in a long time. The hallways made me think of a mid-century sanitarium. I told the front desk there was a water leak going down the hall, so they put up a wet floor sign. As the the water continued to flow, the decided to toss a pile of towels on it. The breakfast area was treated by the exterminator during meal time...nope, not ok. Also the breakfast selections were sub-par, nothing fresh. Also they didn't turn on the A/C during the week. The lobby area is a hot mosquito playground. The side door to the courtyard is left open with a mosquito lamp inside the lobby, thus inviting them inside. Make sure stock up on what you may need. While the hotel had water and soda, the vending machines are out of order and appear to be so for quite some time. And they did not have laundry detergent as posted in the laundry area. I did a medium size load that took 2 cycles in the dryer totaling $6. Taking the elevator is a scary experience. If it comes when you push the button. It doesn't always stop evenly with the floor. So be prepared to step up or down when the door opens. And it stops with such a jolt that it actually loosened my hair clip. As stated, on their website, the pool pictured is not at the hotel. And the ”beach club” is about 2 blocks away and is on the water, but the water is not accessible. It is for sunbathing only. The photo of the beach on their website, is not related to the beach club they offer. When we decided to take the long walk to the beach, they didn't have any beach towels available. I would not recommend this hotel, regardless of price.
