A lovely hotel in Central San Diego. I really enjoyed staying here and the staff were extremely helpful and the bed was very comfy.

Loved our stay there except for the check out charge at the end. They double charged me for each night and it was very difficult to get it fixed.

Clean and friendly staff

Overall excellent and highly recommend to anyone specifically looking for a place that’s pet friendly and has above average comfy bed(including sheets,duvets,pillows). Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Entire place was very well kept and maintained with plenty of amenities available to guests. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. High quality coffee mugs and glassware, as well has soft comfy robes available to guests in their rooms. My only complaints is the lack of available free street parking and unpleasant view out of my room windows.

Everything about my stay was above and beyond my expectations. Location, staff, our room were all top notch. I have already been recommending them to family and friends.

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms

Overall we enjoyed our 5 night stay. Location, service and cleanliness were all very good. Great water pressure in the shower. However, the bedding was too hot for us and we couldn't use the air conditioning as it was extremely loud and blew straight into your face while lying in bed. That meant we sweltered at night and couldn't get a good night's sleep. The hotel should really consider a different style of air conditioning as the units are too bulky and loud for the smallish rooms.

Hotel Z is a quirky, lovely hotel in the Gaslamp area of San Diego. Great location and friendly staff. Super comfy beds and cookies upon arrival. Nearby parking was $12 overnight. We walked everywhere. Would definitely stay again. The price was great too!

Great location, but hard to find parking. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the water station and the cookies. Would be great to have fridge and micro in the room.
