Quality of this hotel well exceeded our expectation. The room is very spacious with good amenities and beautiful views from the balcony. Food served at the breakfast is great and we enjoyed dining at the outdoor terrace with fresh air and fantastic view. The hotel is located in the center of the village with restaurants and shops within a short walk. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot and it is as big as a small indoor swimming pool. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had the chance to meet and talk to the new owner who has made lots of efforts to make it an upscale property while still charge very reasonable rates. We are lucky to have chosen this hotel for our short stay in the village during this summer and will definitely stay here again for a ski holiday next time.

We booked this suite direct after contacting the hotel asking for room rates & availability. They suggested the suite would suit our family group (myself, partner & 2 girls in their 20s). They were right. The suite had a large room with king size bed, sofa / lounge area with TV & balcony with a fabulous view of the mountains. Another large room with 2 single beds & TV was great for the girls & we shared a well appointed bathroom with bath & shower. We were together but had plenty of space. Everything was tastefully decorated & super comfortable. We opted for breakfast at the reduced ‘book ahead’ rate which was good value, but would have been perfect with a hot option of bacon and / or sausage. The hotel is very conveniently located opposite the cog railway to the ski slopes. It had a good heated ski / boot room & free parking right outside the hotel. Staff are friendly & attentive. We booked reduced rate tickets to the Villars Spa which was lovely & a short walk away. The hotel provided towels. We enjoyed a meal in the hotel on one evening which was lovely & reasonable value with the included side dishes. Hotel & restaurant highly recommended & would definitely book again.

The hotel is at the thermal center. It is thus far away of every big city especially by public transport as I have to take the infrequent bus. Room I was disappointed for an expensive hotel it was very small. There is no more place in the fridge because of all what they want to sell to drink or eat. The thermal center is good, the food is good and the hotel interior is beautiful. Overall it is overpriced even at the lowest price I think it wasn't worth it and I am a big fan of thermal station. The price fluctuate a lot try to get it on the cheap.

Siamo stati al Royalp una setimana con il nostro cane al seguito in una junior suite. L ‘hotel fa parte di un complesso residenziale (la Rochegrise) curatissimo, Le foto del sito non rendono giustizia all’hotel che è meglio dal vivo. Le parti comuni sono arredate in stile montano chic con attenzione a tutti i dettagli, sempre di gran gusto. La camera era molto spaziosa con vista parco, pulita in modo impeccabile. Siamo stati accolti in modo cordiale e professionale e ci è stato fornito un letto adatto alla taglia del nostro cane. Il nostro letto king era comodissimo. La colazione è deliziosa con personale molto attento e gentile, anche il ristorante (in questa stagione funziona solo uno dei tre) non delude, piatti all’altezza e servizio veloce e discreto in un setting con vista meravigliosa. L’ambiente in generale è ovattato, silenzioso ed elegante, perfetto per rilassarsi. Parcheggio interno comodissimo con singoli posti enormi che non richiedono manovre complicate, insomma se venite a Villars state qui, non resterete delusi. Un unico appunto che posso fare è per il refill dei prodotti per il bagno, nella doccia ci sono i dispenser da muro; due giorni non è stato fatto e abbiamo dovuto chiedere alla cameriera al piano, inoltre se nella camera c’è un bel basket di frutta sarebbe opportuno rimpiazzare piatto e posate per mangiarla, ma sono dettagli che non cambiano l’impressione generale ottima che ci ha lasciato questa struttura. Abbiamo usufruito di una promozione che offriva 2 notti su un soggiorno di 7 quindi anche il conto finale ci ha lasciati soddifatti. Non abbiamo provato la Spa,
