We paid to upgrade to all inclusive it's not really all-in you have to pay for water you can't even fill your own bottle the all-inclusive ends at 12 mid day at checkout regardless of a late arrival and a late flight home the food is cold and repetitive mostly for Spanish people not English the all in area is often unnamed so you can't get a drink we had beer in a cup one day birds eating the cake which is uncovered you can only leave your towel on a sunbed for 30mins as it can be removed our room which we paid to have a sea view had sewage smell when we used to air-conditioning our tour operator report it but it still happened a couple of days later we both feel ill from this some of the reception staff were very rude to guests this was our second visit to this hotel it will be our last

We have stayed at the Trinidad before when under Roc ownership. The new owners, Alua have made some improvements but it is far from being a four star hotel and doubt it ever will be. Upgrades have taken place in the lobby, outside pool areas and public bathrooms however everything else remains the same. Dated communal areas, canteen style cramped restaurant. The staff have improved (except a few) and are far more professional however the waiting staff in the restaurant are poor, the main the restaurant is the stuff of nightmares, cramped, feels unclean and very poor quality food offerings, the kitchen staff need to improve as the food labelling is atrocious and could make someone very unwell, my wife has a couple of intorelances ( not just to me!) and some days the food label would include all allergens such as milk, gluten etc, the next day nothing on them even though it's the same food! A very dangerous practice and one which should be rectified by the relevant head of department. Food quality is poor, although fish is available it is frozen, frozen vegetables, cheap cuts of pork or processed turkey, plenty offal dishes to try and standard Spanish desserts...oh and kiwis so hard can break your jaw! We stayed all inclusive, drinks are good and branded spirits offered, however we stayed in late May and the hotel really didn't seem to cater too well for AI guests the snacks are hidden away in the restaurant and you feel like you are an inconvenience when visiting.. not to worry though one visit is enough unless you like processed Hot dogs or burger with a helping of frozen chips. Oh and one treasure you must see is the old bar within the lobby, proper retro and could actually be utilised in a far better capacity. All in all we gave it a further try and unfortunately won't try again. Great location, Good staff and clean but definitely not four star.

This is my first review of this hotel , I’m here now & you’ll get a full & frank no bull review when I return home , if you’re Spanish it’s fantastic , I’m not I’m English , no disrespect to anyone at the hotel it’s their country not mine but we were sold this holiday by Jet2 , I am not a bitter Englishman but I will tell you the truth in my next review when I get home , if you have booked perhaps change it

JUST SO TERRIBLE. Staff are rude and totally do not care. I can’t understand when I read all the reviews why this has 4 dots. Nearly every review is putting this hotel down. It’s dirty and they have a price for everything. I’m surprised you’re not charged to use the lift or come through the door. Ridiculous. Stay well away.

The hotel is in an excellent location but the interior is getting a bit tired and could do with a revamp. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, and food and all-inclusive drinks choices are adequate. The heavy glass sliding wardrobe doors required the muscles of Hulk Hogan to open, but once the reception was notified of this, a tecnico came quickly to the room and spent some time efficiently fixing the sliders and they could be moved much easier! The entertainment staff work very hard to put on evening shows when professionals aren't booked. But what annoyed us the most was the constant and daily repetitive music emanating from a mobile speaker unit placed on the stage at the Bar Tropic/main pool outside area, set at a rather unnecessarily loud volume, disturbing the ambience continuously through the day, with no consideration at all for a quiet 'siesta' period during the afternoon. Checkout was absolutely horrid and tarnished the entire week we'd enjoyed upto this point. We approached the reception desk at 09:35, where two young male receptionists were on duty; one of them CHECKING IN a customer (At 09:35???) and the other receptionist was doing nothing but dither about pretending to be busy doing other things but not serving any customers!!! All we wanted to do was return the drinks fichas and reclaim the €2 and then leave. 09:35 is the time for people CHECKING OUT and not CHECKING IN!!! As we waited for 15 minutes for the early morning CHECK-IN to be processed, standing beside this customer, not once did the receptionist look in our direction or acknowledge our presence, and a queue had formed during this time, behind the customer being checked in and not behind us. Once the 09:35 check-in was completed, only then did the receptionist 'suddenly notice' our presence and told us to join the back of the queue!!!! This was an absolutely absurd way to treat any guest who simply wanted their €2 back, and go. A simpler return scheme should be put in place for these fichas, both at the bars and at the reception desk. In the huge and resounding atrium space and 'Agua' bar area, there's another mobile speaker unit placed on the stage by the entertainment staff, also constantly and unnecessarily playing daily repetitive music. After only one day of our 7-day stay, this began to grind on my nerves! We would like to return to this hotel at some point, but not if we're going to be subjected to the same set of songs over and over again, or with no quiet periods!!

We arrived early from uk so left luggage and returned later as room not ready until 3pm. Nothing really explained to us. Came upto our room. Wanted to use the safe but couldnt as needed to pay to do so which wasnt stated at Checking in. Cost will be 28 euros! Don't pay anything for one at The Sabinal Was told someone would be up to unlock it in 15 minutes....still waiting 1 hour

Worst hotel experience in 50+years and 1000+ hotel bookings!; terrible noise of music and animation both at pool AND indoor until midnight, every night, audible in every room , even with doors closed, ear plugs in and pillow over your head , impossible to sleep. In addition by far too crowded breakfast area and despite the busy period rotten fruit at breakfast. dead slow elevators causing guests to drag their luggage over the stairs and internet failing to pick up connection request despite 30+ attempts both with iphone and android, when it finally workes with the iphone dead slow!! What can I say more; bad, bad, bad!!!

Lovely hotel - it’s little tired looking but I cannot fault cleanliness, food, staff, comfy beds/pillows, location and facilities. Reception/bar staff speak very good English and were very helpful and approachable. I would without a doubt stay here again.

We flew on TUI Flight 2474/2475. We stayed at the hotel for two weeks from 26/10 to 10/10. We had an enjoyable stay. The areas inside of the hotel and our room were cleaned daily. However, the areas surrounding the pools were the filthiest we've ever seen. They do hose the pool areas daily but since the drains are so small and far apart the dirt is only moved around and does not drain away. The backs of the loungers were also filthy. The hotel does provide shampoo, shower gel and hand wash. The aircon and fridge are free but the safe costs 4 euros per day. Towels for the pool are provided free but a deposit of 20 euros is required. The food was fine with plenty of choice unless you tried to eat everything on offer each day. If you are a weak swimmer you will probably find it off-putting because of the depth. The depth of the adult pool is 1.8m apart from a very short entrance. The main pool has a small area up to 1.4m the slopes quickly to 1.8m. The end of the holiday was marred by a 26 hour delay to the TUI return flight. We were boarding the plane when we were all told to go back to the airport because of a problem with the plane's engine. We were all taken to another hotel and later told we would be flying home the following day at 1pm. There was a lot of talk about flight delay compensation of up to £350. However, unsurprisingly TUI have found a guideline which means they don't have to pay any compensation!! Wondering if anyone else on the flight had the same response from TUI?

Very nice hotel. For a 3 star rating it was a lot better than I expected. We had a nice large room with a pool and beach view. Clean and very modern bathroom and bedroom. Hall way dated though and needs some attention. Food very good. My only complaint was that there could have been more variation in fruit and the food was not hot! When I discovered the microwave I was happy though ! Also beer, water and soft drinks were available free with the evening meal for the half board option which I was pretty impressed with. Staff were also very friendly and it's a nice clean hotel.

Positives are limited: Friendly staff that work so hard doing double shifts and seem to get constant digging and hassle from management, big shout out to Alex and Rachel who run around keeping people happy at breakfast then work the rest of the day in the very busy pool bar. Cleaning staff do a great job. Sea view room was lovely in the aspect of cleanliness and view only. Negatives: If you come here for peace and quiet and want to unwind, then this is the wrong hotel for you. Constant noise and very load, we had a room on the 4th floor above the stage and OMG the noise was relentless from 10:30am til at least 1am, it starts with music at about 10:30 with a rendition song blaring out "Good morning Good morning" which presses your butttons after a crap nights sleep, then it continues through the day at a medium volume level but constantly interrupted at times with a Spanish animation bloke (who loves the sound of his own voice) going on about games etc mostly played in the area below the rooms. 5pm it's bingo and music at a slightly higher level but at 10 pm, look out and get your ear muffs out because that when the kids disco starts for 30mins followed by very loud music trying to be louder than the neighbouring hotel, they even talk to each other over the microphone, makes Glastonbury look like a kids party in comparison. The noise will carry on at a high level until the bar shuts at midnight, and then it is reluctantly turned off to be replaced by a very large spanish contingency who love to party who will sit there with their mass stocks of drinks churping away at full volume until the staff who just want to go home turn the lights out at 01:30. I could go on but let's just say it's emotional. Massive ques for drinks as the Spanish stock up at every visit, put us Brits to shame to be honest. Food hall is always packed out and louder than a football stadium. Most hot food is cold even when it's just put out, but saying that it was tasty all the same. As previously mentioned, the manager of food and beverages just ponced about picking on his staff who all deserve a massive bonus as they work so hard in a torrid environment. We witnessed him telling the pool bar staff to slightly realign the outside tables even though there was a large queue for drinks at the time only for their hard work to be in vein as moments later as the Spanish guests moved nearly all the tables together and took over the area throwing any rubbish on the tables onto the floor, the Manager just looked on. Pool area and outside bar area filthy as the only cleaning it gets is a couple of random buckets of water thrown down early morning by the housekeeping crew, no proper hosepipe wash down that you would expect in a busy place like this. They even have a very loud foam party in front of the stage during the week in the afternoon when all the lucky participants roll around like ****** on a dirty foam covered stone floor. On the whole, very loud, ridiculous p

Lovely hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. Cleaners were lovely and very friendly. Always said hello and good morning. Good amount of drink choice and food choice is quite good too. Pools were nice and clean. Arcade and gym in hotel was cool to see. Most staff friendly. Receptionist speedy and polite. Sorted our room card out fast when it stopped working. Entertainment isn’t very inclusive. Spanish guests weren’t very friendly to the British guests. I had also heard others say so. Area nice and a good variety of shops and restaurants/bars. Will definitely be coming back next year. Really good experience overall. Beds are really comfy. I had the best night sleeps here. Breakfast is definitely my favourite of the three meal times. So much variety. Lunch didn’t have as much and dinner was very meat/fish based. Not very inclusive to anyone who is vegetarian/vegan or allergies. Two pool areas. Both quite nice and had calm atmosphere. Nice view. Air conditioning and free WiFi.
