My man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom  As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner, So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘

Scam people please don’t book your hotel from trip.com and OYO the pleasant house. When we reached the hotel, there was a number pasted outside the door. It was written call on the number. When I called on the number he refused to check in and said take your money back. When I called OYO service because their number was given on emailed I received. They said no booking with this reference number. Now I contacted trip.com they said owner first said we checked in. When I asked for proof no answer. Trip.com is scam website don’t book on this site.

This is a scammer, fraud. Disappointed not even hotel it's a private home under refurbishment Also the service was not provided. He said the room I booked is not suitable and I should pay to upgrade and he not refunding my pay . I will surly see to the bottom of this.

Pictures were taken when just renovated but the place now is not at all like pictures, it was an emergency stay for a family death so didn't have much choice but to stay, would not recommend at any cost to anyone, if could have cancelled and got refund I would have in a heartbeat, discusting place

Very basic room nothing like the ad the double bed was like a downhill slope the cupboard had some manky old bedding someone elses old shoes

It was a really comfortable bed, and clean sheets and good pillows. The bathroom was clean, garden and outside untidy. Friendly staff though not sure where to go for help, no reception desk

Got there, no signage to indicate if it was the "pleasant" house at all not much lighting outside but that didn't matter as there are no signs Room wasn't ready which considering it's literally the room that enters directly into the communal lounge and entrance. And next to the seat where the "host" was sitting. Not very clean at all. Lighters and bits of ash on the coffee table. (Non smoking) Smelt of ****. Communal kitchen in the front room which was a state. Was asked to wait until host sorted the room. (Bedding and towels) Took 20 mins. Then to be shown the room...... Small room with no windows. No fire escape signs or actual fire escape. With a wardrobe and a unit. Double bed that felt like the mattress was made of cotton wool. With a single bed right next to it. No TV . Plug sockets hanging off the wall. Walls were littered with hairs and mucus stains all over. Literally sat on the bed for 10 mins while I charged my phone enough to book a different hotel as there was no chance I was risking my health and safety in the "pleasant house" the only thing pleasant was the walk out to the v lodge about a mile away. Ten pounds more but a million times the quality. Then to be told I couldn't cancel the booking and to have to report the state of the place to claim a refund. Literally checked in waited 20 mins for the room to be prepared and spent 10 mins (purely for a power point to charge my phone so I could book alternative accomodation. This place should be less than 1 star at the price of an ibis or similar it's shocking. Literally a room and a bed. Shower was not in the room it was a communal bathroom. Judging by the state of what I saw. there wasn't a Chance I was even thinking of even looking in there. Didn't notice any condiments but would you want to drink from a cup supplied from this place? I think not. Terrible experience.

Stayed a night and woke up covered in bites and bed bugs all over the bed!! Tried to sort the issue with the owner but the least he could say was that he’d clean the room, which is the bare minimum. No apologies or anything when he could see I was covered with over 20 bites over my body itchy and swollen. He kept changing his story saying he’s not the owner and then saying he is the owner. He said he can’t give us a refund due to not receiving the money yet even though we paid weeks before the stay. Very unprofessional guy wouldn’t dare step foot back in there. He was so unbothered I’d be surprised if he actually got pest control in and sorted the issue out.

I would give it a -10 as this place was absolutely disgusting when me and my friends went there. It was not cleaned at all and they expected us to stay there. We arrived at this place and it looked nothing like the photos online. The smell was awful and the kitchen had dirty dishes everywhere, food splashed up all the walls and cupboards as apparently the owner had been living there. The bathroom was stinking with ***** all over the floor and mud and the bedroom had stained sheets and dirty carpets. We refused to stay there and the man himself agreed and said he wouldn’t and when we asked for a refund they would not give it all to us!

This hotel cancelled my booking 2 hours before I was due to check in due to "maintenance" issues and in a lot of ways I am glad. It looks awful. They then were taking booking but at double the price I paid. They offered me alternative accommodation but in a city 25 minute drive away

Zero stars across the board, only the sheets were clean in our room, everything else was covered in a layer of dust and old stains. Light fixture was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom also had not been cleaned as hair and general dust was gathered all over. I had to request more toilet paper, and instead of replacing it themself, staff indicated where to find it in a living room that is a private lodging for said staff? So I had to do that at 3am, plus I requested a hairdryer and after being told via text that this had been sorted, I asked repeatedly for it to the staff member directly to finally have him saying the hairdryer was in another room, so he couldn't help me with that. (??) The door pad to our room had low batteries and I was stuck outside of my room at 3am for about 10 minutes with several attempts to enter. After contacting the member of staff about it, he came and claimed the charge will last for another 2-3 weeks. Surely having to try 6+ times to enter because of low batteries is not considered fully charged. I requested a refund and they refused, citing company policy and not even acknowledging the uncleanliness. Do not book and waste your money.

Told to arive at 9pm which we did , only as Ramadan there was no one there 25 min later he turns up, not really a problem, then puts my work colleague i n a room which to use the bathroom he has to walk through his family space a kid u not , said we would leave i f no other room available. Another room allocated, then on to my room , all looked well till the rain started , then i discovered the Hole in the roof it pi%%ed in NO SLEEP AT ALL., 12hr shift the following morning ! Knackered is an under statement, then used the bathroom.in the morning only to find the water that had leaked in through the night dripping through the bathroom ceiling, The floor was soaking I put it down to some one using the shower at first, so while I am sitting on the pan am getting soaked lol, look i get its a contractors hotel at best, but this was pushing it. Contacted for a refund no ans by email or phone,
