Utente ospiteA spacious, elegant hotel with wonderful hot springs. The hotel has several restaurants, so you can dine without leaving the premises. The grounds are very pleasant. I especially want to note the responsiveness of the staff. Employees promptly provide information about the schedule of events at the hotel and help with any current issues. We were running late for our train and couldn't get a taxi. The staff took the initiative and helped us arrange a car. Thank you to Amy for her organization, friendliness, and responsiveness! Thanks to her and her colleague, we made it to our train without rushing. We will be back! We remember our stay with joy!

Utente ospiteIo e il mio partner abbiamo prenotato la stanza di Santorini King Seaview per una settimana di relax, e l'hotel e la stanza erano bellissimi. L’unica cosa che avrei dovuto dire nel dormitorio era un guardaroba o un posto per metterci dei vestiti, perché non c’era posto dove metterci i vestiti puliti.
L'unica cosa che abbiamo trovato strano è che la piscina al tetto era vuota per 3 giorni dal nostro soggiorno senza alcuna nota o ragione per cui. Ovviamente, se dovesse essere mantenuto, allora è del tutto comprensibile, ma ci è sembrato un po' strano, visto che hanno avuto un paio di altri ospiti che rimase e sia me che il mio partner l'avevano goduto durante i nostri primi giorni in hotel. La piscina al tetto era anche una delle ragioni principali per cui abbiamo scelto questo hotel, quindi siamo un po' delusi che non fosse utilizzato per l'ultima parte del nostro soggiorno.
Il personale e i proprietari dell'hotel erano bellissimi e si assicuravano che avessimo tutto quello che ci serviva durante il nostro soggiorno. Il colazione è stata fornita ogni mattina, ma non era la nostra preferenza per il colazione, quindi abbiamo avuto solo una volta ma piacevole di essere incluso.
La comodità dell'hotel situato vicino alla spiaggia era grande e c'era divertimento serale a pochi passi ogni sera e molti posti da mangiare. La zona che ci sembra è un po' abbassata e lasciata in pace da alcuni dei locali/turisti, perché c'era un sacco di rubinetti appena gettati sulle pavimenti/strade e sulla spiaggia.

Utente ospiteWe came to this coast and this hotel after staying at another 5-star hotel at Shuangyue Bay. The sea here is dirty with stagnant water - if anyone comes here hoping to swim in the sea.
The hotel is generally good, but there are many strange things. For example, on a weekday when there are few people outside, at 10:00 AM they are cleaning the outdoor pool so you cannot swim, and the door to the beach is locked with a bicycle lock. They don't let you go out onto the beach because they are afraid that someone might come in from the beach. So they create maximum inconvenience for guests in the name of safety. But the solution is very simple: give everyone bracelets or make the doors accessible only with key cards. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
And it's not just the beach - there are other exits to the outside as well. I go down to swim in the indoor pool, and they whistle at me saying I need a swim cap. Put up a notice that a cap is required, rather than telling me when I'm almost in the pool. No one brings a swim cap on vacation/travelling. And this is despite the fact that there is plenty of signage everywhere in both Chinese and English. Guests would understand.
In the room, the toilet and shower had transparent glass doors - and we were staying with a child in a room with two large beds. So this kind of room is only suitable if you come with someone very intimate.
At the same time, for some reason, the shutters are closed - shutters that work like a disappearing wall, allowing you to lie in the bathtub and look at the sea.
Breakfast is generally good, but you won't find any hot fish or meat. There was one chicken dish, otherwise vegetables, noodles, and lots of soups. Soy milk is impossible to find - for some reason it's also placed in a soup tureen, not with the other drinks.
The air conditioning works strangely. It says that it turns off when the door to the outside is open. But in reality, it turns off according to its own logic. The most important thing: the WiFi is terrible. I needed to make an online conference, and it failed because of the poor connection.
I recommend hotel reconsider its policy regarding access to and from the property to make it more comfortable for guests. Fix Wi-Fi. Thanks

We had a joyful and relaxing stay at Nankunshan Zaiyundan Wenquan Homestay the past two days. We stayed in the topmost space capsule, which was spacious and luxurious with an amazing view over the hotel and down into the mountain valleys. The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!

longwei88Grande servizio. Sono stato aggiornato gratuitamente, ma c'era un odore di vapore molto forte nella mia stanza che ci ha voluto un po' per dissipare. La zona di scivoli / parco acquatico è stata grande soprattutto per i bambini che hanno fatto con 4 o 5 diverse piscine. Abbiamo seguito il tifono di fine luglio 2026, così tanti alberi danneggiati e mobili sono stati spruzzati in tutto.
La spiaggia è vicina all'hotel con fuochi d'artificio per la vendita. La zona di softplay dei bambini è piuttosto divertente (portare i vostri calzini o acquistare da loro)
La sala da pranzo è di dimensioni decenti. Tuttavia, non c'è lavanderia. Il colazione era molto buono da scegliere. Il pranzo è 198RMB per un buffet con una vasta selezione di carne/alimenti di mare, ecc.

Omar nairoukhOur stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the sea. Waking up every morning to such a beautiful ocean view made our vacation even more special.
The swimming pools were fantastic, well-maintained, and suitable for both adults and children. The resort also offers excellent facilities, including beautifully landscaped gardens, relaxing lounge areas, a private beach, and plenty of recreational activities that made every day enjoyable.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. Their exceptional hospitality made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
The only small downside was that the breakfast buffet could have offered more variety. While the food was fresh and tasty, we would have appreciated a wider selection each morning.

Title: Great value for space and location, but sadly aging and under-serviced
My family spent two nights at the Country Garden Silver Beach Phoenix Hotel in Huidong. For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging.
Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad.
On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing. Great food and great entertainment – a real highlight of our stay.

This is really the perfect place to relax - my second time staying here. The hot springs are stunning and the whole layout of the villas/reception/walkways feels very Thai. Rooms are generally clean and very spacious.
Keep in mind that the place has been affected since Covid - it was obviously once a bustling and popular destination but unfortunately due to lowering popularity, less guests which means less money to upgrade and maintain.
I would have loved to see the place in its heyday and hope it makes a comeback as it really is very special.
