I stayed at Regal Palace Resort with my girlfriend and her family, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience especially as a place to spend proper downtime together rather than just a quick hotel stay. The hotel itself is impressive in scale. It has that classic luxury resort feel big open spaces, landscaped grounds, and a slightly grand, almost old-school style. It’s not ultra modern, but it feels established and well put together, which actually suited the atmosphere of a family trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and importantly, clean. Nothing overly flashy, but everything worked as it should. When you’re staying with family, that matters more than design trends everyone was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to relax without feeling cramped. What stood out most for me was the environment. It’s quite peaceful, especially compared to busier city hotels. Walking around the grounds, sitting outside, or just spending time by the pool felt like a proper break. It’s the kind of place where you can actually switch off a bit. Since I was there with my girlfriend’s family, the overall vibe of the hotel worked really well. It’s definitely more suited to groups, families, or longer stays rather than a quick one night business stop. There’s enough space and facilities that everyone can do their own thing without it feeling crowded. Food was decent good variety, and easy to find something for everyone, which again is important when you’re with a group. Service was solid too staff were polite and helpful, even with the language barrier at times. If I had to be critical, parts of the hotel could probably do with a bit of updating. You can tell it’s been around for a while, and in some areas it shows slightly. But it didn’t take away from the experience.

The anchor hotel of Park Lane Harbour and often the place people look at to see Xiaojingwan/”Footpath Trace Bay.” Much better price than people would imagine in the off season. Breakfast still maintains an extraordinary standard, and dim sum is clean and fast. Staff were very willing to help with scanning and copying but they've lost the knowledge of doing a Temporary Residence Registration for foreigners and I hope they get it back, because that can sometimes be quite important for documents. You can get that with a trip to a local Public Security Bureau but that takes effort.

Приехали в дождь и не смогли сразу найти куда нужно идти для заселения. Для таких же как мы пишу- идите в билдинг 2.1 на 5 этаж! Там ресепшен. Промокли до нитки. Сам номер в целом неплохо. Посторонних запахов не было и это очень порадовало. Вид потрясающий! Каждый день убирались, приносили одноразовые полотенца и воду. Стиралка и сушка в номере это отдельное вау, огромное за это спасибо!

A large hotel with three tower buildings and excellent service (thanks to Candy Shen, YOYO Zeng and 何利浓 for doing their job very well) . A wonderful place—perhaps the best you could imagine for a fulfilling vacation with children: a kids' room, arcade games, a children's pool, and a diverse breakfast to suit all tastes. We personally enjoyed the sea the most, because here you can feel the power of the ocean—that's why we came to this coast, for the water quality and its clarity. The hotel's private beach makes an effort to quickly clean up any trash. In the morning during May–June, there's high tide, so it's deep, the water is cool and comfortable, and there can be waves. In the evening, during low tide, more people go swimming. Overall, it's hard to single out just one thing about this hotel—everything is designed so well that you don't want to leave: a large property, swimming pool on the 31 floor, a bar, live music in the evening, swings on the beach, photo spots, a clean beach, the chance to watch fireworks from the balconies, bathtubs on the balconies, comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast. It's worth noting that the hotel is not very new—that is a fact. However, you have to take into account the high humidity in this location, which quickly wears down the infrastructure. As suggestions: update the towels and bathrobes to newer ones, and add more umbrellas and sun beds on the beach.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the sea. Waking up every morning to such a beautiful ocean view made our vacation even more special. The swimming pools were fantastic, well-maintained, and suitable for both adults and children. The resort also offers excellent facilities, including beautifully landscaped gardens, relaxing lounge areas, a private beach, and plenty of recreational activities that made every day enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. Their exceptional hospitality made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The only small downside was that the breakfast buffet could have offered more variety. While the food was fresh and tasty, we would have appreciated a wider selection each morning.

The hotel itself has a nice location on the beachside, and the pools are generally well maintained. The hotel and surrounding area are looking very tired however, with much of it needing maintenance or just not being used at all. The lifts are also in need of an update. Despite this, it's generally an okay hotel, the rooms are fine and have good views.

This is really the perfect place to relax - my second time staying here. The hot springs are stunning and the whole layout of the villas/reception/walkways feels very Thai. Rooms are generally clean and very spacious. Keep in mind that the place has been affected since Covid - it was obviously once a bustling and popular destination but unfortunately due to lowering popularity, less guests which means less money to upgrade and maintain. I would have loved to see the place in its heyday and hope it makes a comeback as it really is very special.
