Hotel in zona Jāņa Akuratera muzejs, Riga

Lots of good points. Location is good, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, helpful staff. Just 2 minor glitches. We were upgraded but to a room where the bed head was close to lift shaft. Noise was not bad and the air con was not very efficient - highs were reaching 24/25 c. The timings given by 1 of front of house staff like time to train station was “optimistic”. There are lots of good restaurants in Riga and a few are a very short walk. Our last night we ate in the restaurant. It was good but I’m not sure the pictures matching the food really works. We did not want the 5/6 course tasting menu which I think the chef is focused on. It’s around €90 or €100 per head with service charge. It may be stunning but is top end price wise for Riga. There were only 4 dining our night. Good value for money and would use it again..

Останавливалась в этом отэле уже 3 раза! Лучшее место расположения для меня! Атмосфера старого города завораживает! Обязательно вернусь и не раз в этот отэль!

Service is nice. Staff can respond my problem and question rapidly. The equipment is not cleaned or even broken. For example, the mini refrigerator is broken while the bed linen have mark on them. Also, the shampoo bottle is empty.

Отель расположен в Старой Риге, напротив автобусного вокзала через дорогу. Гостеприимный ресепшн, поздравили с днём рождения - это было так приятно и неожиданно! Благодарю 💐! Вкусный и разнообразный завтрак с приветственным проссеко на входе. На завтраке даже после отеля олл инклюзив был для нас выбор. От души благодарим! Спа воспользоваться не успели, работает с 9 утра и до 21 по предварительной записи. Впрочем, в нашем номере была ванна.

Grande hotel in una posizione fantastica tra la vecchia città e il centro città. 🏨 Se vuoi essere vicino alle attrazioni più importanti, a pochi passi, questa è una grande scelta! Un bellissimo hotel boutique, con un'atmosfera cinematografica ed un elegante decoro. Le camere sono decorate in un cinema 📽️🎬 atmosfera, i poster del cinema nei corridoi sono impressionanti. I interni sono belli e fotogenici. 🎬🎞️ Il personale è bello e utile, la nostra stanza era pronta prima dell'iscrizione e abbiamo avuto le chiavi prima. ❤️ Possiamo lasciare il nostro bagaglio dopo l'iscrizione. Il letto è molto grande e comodo, la stanza ha una caldaia, una macchina per caffè e un bar ben attrezzato. Per il colazione, c'è una grande selezione di cibo dolce e salato. Ci sono anche sedie a sedere per bambini. 👧❤️ Un grande posto per soggiornare a Riga. Raccomando e sarò felice di tornare! 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is situated in Old Riga not far from the castle and river. We stayed for 3 nights and were upgraded to a slightly larger room with a settee, table, coffee machine and double aspect view. Positive points: large, quiet, room with really comfy bed and different type of pillows (extra firm and very soft). Nice toiletries, fluffy towels, slippers and bathrobes. Heating was very effective! Location - easy to walk into town and down to the river. Welcoming front desk staff who speak excellent English. Nice array of breakfast options (including local cheeses, meats and fish). Nicely decorated dining rooms and lobby. Small one metre wide pool on top floor with loungers and a sauna (need to ask reception to turn on 30 mins ahead of using) Improvement ideas: cooked breakfast was a bit lukewarm on occasion and only one coffee machine was working which led to queues. No T bags or milk supplied - although there was a kettle (and fruit T bags). Sink outside bathroom which was a bit odd? It’s not a 5 star hotel - but a good city centre 4 star which was busy with lots of corporate guests during our stay. You can pre-order a taxi from reception to the airport for about 28 euros (10-15 minutes).

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 6 notti. Eravamo in vacanza con un bambino 11-year-old e avevamo prenotato una stanza standard, che abbiamo finito per migliorare in una stanza familiare perché include anche un letto per il bambino. La stanza era pulita e soddisfaceva completamente le nostre esigenze. In aggiunta, abbiamo acquistato il servizio di check-in precoce, che ha funzionato perfettamente e la stanza era a nostra disposizione non appena siamo arrivati all'hotel. Perche' sono un po' un sonno leggero, la seconda notte mi sono svegliata in mezzo alla notte e ho sentito il suono di basso che veniva dal club di notte sotto? La notte dopo, la stessa cosa accadde di nuovo, quando io andai a richiamare l’attenzione sulla questione alla ricezione, e lo stesso giorno, essi aggiornarono la nostra stanza in una categoria di stanza premium, e questo problema era andato. Non potevo essere più grato per il modo professionale che questo hotel ha gestito la questione. Oltre al buon servizio, l'hotel ha tutto il resto: la posizione a Riga è perfetta, le camere erano pulite, il colazione era grande, le viste dalle camere e dal skybar al piano di sopra sono incredibili. Posso consigliare sinceramente l'hotel a tutti i viaggiatori a Riga.

This hotel is not situated in a nice area, a number of the surrounding buildings are in a very poor state. The hotel is very old fashioned with dark and dated furniture The air con had one setting, you couldn’t get it to blow cold air. It didn’t matter what temperature you put it to, it kept reverting back to 26 degrees. The internet was very intermittent, it kept dropping off. Very very poor quality towels. They are virtually threaded bare…! If you had them at home, you would put them in the garbage. Shower curtain which I hate…! There are stains on the chair and armchair- it’s such an easy job to clean them…! There is some shower gel, but no shampoo or conditioner. I wish hotels would realise that providing shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are what clients expect. When one is travelling, you don’t want to have to buy shampoo and conditioner to use at some of these poor quality hotels and carry it around for the rest of your holiday. It’s no surprise that Airbnb hosts are stealing hotel customers. The quality and service that some Airbnb hosts offer are far superior to many hotels. The curtains didn’t fit the windows and there was bright light streaming into the room all night. On the plus side, they provide shower caps. There was a safe in the room. Also a mini bar. And a kettle. They only clean your room if you remember to put the sign outside. For me this is a cost saving exercise, nothing to do with the environment…! When they don’t change your towels neither do they enter the room to empty the bins or vacuum the floor….! So it is a cost saving exercise. However they still charge the same. You don’t feel valued as a customer. At breakfast there was a reasonable selection of hot and cold foods. The dining room was very busy, many people had to share tables with others.

Per un soggiorno a Riga, all'interno di un viaggio nei Paesi Baltici, avevo scelto questo albergo. La mia scelta era dovuta a due fattori: vicinanza al centro e alla stazione ferroviaria, e il buon rapporto prezzo/ qualità che esprimeva. Erano incognite sia l'ospitalità che la comodità offerta dalla struttura. Devo riconoscere che la scelta si è dimostrata felice: staff gentile, molto efficiente e in grado di offrire ottimi suggerimenti e assistenza. La camera non era per la verità molto grande, ma era pulita e dotata del comfort di un albergo a 3 stelle. Da raccomandare a viaggiatori che badano al sodo e al rapporto prezzo/ qualità.

Siamo stati solo una notte in questo hotel tra i nostri voli e ci piaceva l'hotel! E 'nuovo e molto pulito. Il personale era gentile e utile. Il nostro volo è arrivato a 11.30 pm, non abbiamo avuto una prenotazione. Abbiamo camminato all'hotel solo 20 minuti, controllato dalla prenotazione che ci sono camere disponibili. In reception abbiamo ottenuto uno sconto (circa 10e/night) per unire il programma di lealtà. La stanza era ben isolata dal rumore e c'era tutto quello che ci serviva (gel da bagno, shampoo, condizionatore e lozione corporea, asciugacapelli).La colazione era bella, non troppo grande, ma non troppo piccola, una cosa era speal-puoi fare le tue vafle fresche là! Purtroppo il colazione era fino alle 10 (preferissimo più tardi), ma ci siamo rallegrati che all'10.30 ci fosse ancora cibo e le messe non si sforzavano di prendere niente. Prima abbiamo cercato di trovare un hotel più economico, ma prima che dovete prendere un taxi due modi e comprare un colazione, il prezzo sarebbe ancora più alto. Ci siamo davvero goditi il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel e siamo felici di averlo scelto!
