Hotel in zona Sundhollin, Reykjavik

D'accordo, la posizione geografica dell'hotel è buona. La porta è il bus 9, molto vicino alla chiesa, e cinque o sei minuti a piedi possono raggiungere il centro di un caldo! Poi, non e'buona, l'hotel e il negozio di formaggio usano un hall pubblico, perché sono rimasto alle due del mattino. Non ho ricevuto alcun personale di servizio. Apri la porta direttamente al discorso e dica al piano di stare. Il giorno dopo, uscirono presto per il gruppo, quindi non ho visto nessun personale di servizio, La squadra ha presentato il ritorno all'hotel dopo l'apocalisse. Ho spinto la porta dell'hotel non è stata spinta. La reception mi ha suggerito di andare all'altra porta, cioè alla negozia di formaggio. Sono tornato nella stanza e ho messo la spalla e sono uscito dal supermercato. Quando sono tornato, sono andato anche alla negozia di formaggio, e poi ho sentito il rumore dei dipendenti della negozia di formaggio. C'è un problema, le ho chiesto, e'arrabbiata, mi ha sempre detto che ero malato e ho detto che andava alla porta del negozio di formaggio. Ho detto che la ricetta mi ha lasciato andare. Ha sempre avuto il grido!Molto inqualitativo!Non c'è motivo per cui è stato arrabbiato. Ho risposto a Trip.com e al personale di servizio dell'hotel! Trip.com ha fatto una ragionevole compensazione. L'hotel non ha avuto alcuna dichiarazione finché non me ne sono andato!

Kex… Ugh such a frustrating review to write. I really wanted to like the Kex hostel it has its good points, but overall was the worst hostel stay I have had in Iceland. I’ll give you my very detailed opinion. The Bad… -Lacking in the toilet paper department!!! We were on floor 4 there were several private bathrooms with showers and also separate locker room style bathrooms. At 7:30 AM I ran to the bathroom after finishing my business realized there was no TP! Ugh. Anyway afterwards I looked through the different open stalls with toilets. Only 3 toilets on the whole 4th floor had TP! To me having adequate TP is an essential thing. The bathrooms weren’t restocked until 10AM ish. And we aren’t even in peak tourist season. We mentioned the issue to the staff and they said “just call next time you need something” kinda hard to “just call” when you have already done your business in the bathroom and you need something to wipe with! They need to have staff check the bathrooms more frequently. -The kitchen is sad in the “equipment” department. One of the reasons we stay at hostels is to cook our own food. Maybe they are trying to push buying food from their restaurant. I get that they get a lot of traffic. But the cooking pan selection is -Terrible- nasty old pans that the thrift shop would discard. Janky handles, and interior coating mega gouged out. Don’t come here expecting to cook at least on level 4. -No way to make coffee!!! Again they probably want you to pay for their breakfast. But there is no option to make coffee. No coffee pot, machine, or way to make a filter pour over etc. Don’t bring coffee grounds expecting to make your morning brew. There was an electric kettle, but again no way to make coffee unless you brought instant. -The showers need a good bleach and scrub. The walls had black mold growing on them. Considering the fact that Kex was our most expensive hostel in Iceland (we paid 20,906 for a private double, with linens, and shared bathrooms…or $153 US) compare Kex to the Svjarborg in Stykkisholmer $90 US or Halfdan HI Hostel $63 US ( in both we had a private double & shared bath) but both were awesome and had a fully equipped kitchen with decent quality pots, options to make coffee, and plenty of toilet paper. I understand that being in the city we can expect to pay more. BUT I expect that price to include: -enough toilet paper -a means to make coffee -decent cookware. The good… -The location is great. Easy walking distance to the main shops/streets. And the ocean right across the highway. -Awesome “vibe” cool decor, lots of couches/lounge areas. -Entertaining/Social. In the evening there was group song trivia in the main area, and in another a live band. -Our room a private double with shared bathroom was large, and we slept well. (Note: I have never stayed in a “quiet” hostel so I always travel with a sleep soundtrack on my phone and a melatonin) -The staff was all polite In conclusion, I have traveled on 4 contine

Appartamento davvero grazioso e dotato di tutto nel pieno centro della capitale. Il personale molto discreto ma attento nella pulizia e nella cura del soggiorno, anche se non richiesto, ogni mattina ci veniva fornito del caffè e del latte per la colazione. Self check-in comodo e funzionale, si fa tutto con un app del cellulare. Decisamente soddisfatti!

Questa casa degli ospiti si trova in una posizione meravigliosa vicino al volo, vicino alla chiesa, musei e zona commerciale in Reykjavík Island. Il personale è molto amichevole e utile con qualsiasi domanda. Vi daranno visite a Reykjavík. Questa casa ospite ha caffè, tè e internet gratis. Sono dotati di strutture di cucina per poter portare cibo e cucinare per te stesso. Quando torno a Reykjavík Island, restero' a questa casa ospite.

L'unico motivo per restare qui è per il conveniente pick-up e smettere di fermarsi per le tour e l'aeroporto. La stanza era una 4 letti e era forte. Situato al contrario della cucina e sopra l'ingresso principale significava che era anche molto rumoroso. I bunker sono molto, molto fondamentali. Ci sono punti di carico a ogni letto in questo particolare dormitorio (3) e il giacca fornito è una lancia decorativa. La pulizia lasciava molto da desiderare. In linea di massima doveva chiedere la ricezione di sapone a mano nel bagno, asciugamani di carta e carta da bagno. Il Wi-Fi non esiste e il personale di ricezione è assolutamente ambivalente; sono piacevoli, ma assolutamente non desiderano aiutare. Si ricorda una negabilità plausibile: restate qui solo per la posizione che vi permette di accedere a tutto ciò che l'Islanda deve offrire.

Ho prenotato due camere perché viaggiavano in 5 : camere veramente molto piccole, quasi difficile muoversi . Di positivo sicuramente c’era la pulizia, la cortesia dello staff che ci ha fornito la camera già al mattino , il parcheggio gratuito . Avevo soggiornato molti anni fa euro redavo delle camere più grandi e spaziose anche se eravamo solo in due all’epoca . Diciamo che va bene come appoggio a Reykiavic ma non per lunghi soggiorni .comunque positivo

I have now been to three Keahotels, and all have been wonderful Reykjavík Lights is conveniently located, included breakfast and has on premise parking. The staff was very helpful and genuinely pleasant. If I were to nitpick, the towels, could be a little fluffier and the toilet paper a little softer, but you can always go buy toilet paper like I did, and the towels are not a dealbreaker.

Questa è la nostra prima fermata quando siamo arrivati in Islanda e questa è la nostra ultima fermata alla fine della nostra vacanza. La posizione è tranquilla nelle vicinanze con un facile accesso a Perlan e al centro della città. La camera è venuta con una microonde, cucina, tazze, caldaia, lavastoviglie, forno e TV intelligente. Il letto era molto comodo. Il bagno era pulito e aveva asciugamani fluffy. La vendita di prodotti alimentari (bonus) si trovava lungo la strada per coloro che si occupano di cucina. Ci sono stati molti parcheggi fuori per la nostra auto affittato.Abbiamo dovuto chiamare gli appartamenti prima di arrivare, e sono stati super utili e confermati per posta elettronica entro l'ora. Gli appartamenti sono anche situati per fornire facile accesso all'aeroporto. Molto ragionevolmente prezzi islandesi, soprattutto perché si trovano nelle periferie della capitale. In generale, molto felice del nostro soggiorno e rimarrebbe.

Me and my two lads stayed for 3 nights and arrived very early due to travelling overnight. Tanya made us feel welcomed and managed to get us our 1 room to stay in until the other 2 rooms were available. This was extremely needed and we are greatly thankful. Each room was clean and comfortable with 2 of the rooms having kitchenettes which came in handy for drinks and snacks. We used a restaurant just over the road from the hotel which had an added bonus of 10% off if you showed your room key. Breakfast was small and basic but there was something there for us to eat. Overall a great hotel with a good bus service and staff. Anna was very prompt in answering emails and any questions.
