Hotel in zona Geldinganes Shipwreck, Reykjavik

Molto ben situato, manca un po' di spazio per parcheggiare. Ma con un po' di pazienza ci arriva. Solo un bemol sull'insonorizzazione delle camere, le porte che si scalpiano tutta la notte.

Il personale dell'albergo è molto responsabile per gli ospiti per risolvere i problemi. Ci sono lavastoviglie e lavastoviglie, le tasse sono relativamente ragionevoli. ISK2000 Confronto a alcuni ostelli sono piatti, ma il posto è un po' lontano dalla zona di periferia, e le persone senza auto possono portare un po'di scomodo.C'è una zona comune molto comoda. C'è un vento in zona comune, e non ho paura di andare in altri ospiti di notte.

Me and my two lads stayed for 3 nights and arrived very early due to travelling overnight. Tanya made us feel welcomed and managed to get us our 1 room to stay in until the other 2 rooms were available. This was extremely needed and we are greatly thankful. Each room was clean and comfortable with 2 of the rooms having kitchenettes which came in handy for drinks and snacks. We used a restaurant just over the road from the hotel which had an added bonus of 10% off if you showed your room key. Breakfast was small and basic but there was something there for us to eat. Overall a great hotel with a good bus service and staff. Anna was very prompt in answering emails and any questions.

Kex… Ugh such a frustrating review to write. I really wanted to like the Kex hostel it has its good points, but overall was the worst hostel stay I have had in Iceland. I’ll give you my very detailed opinion. The Bad… -Lacking in the toilet paper department!!! We were on floor 4 there were several private bathrooms with showers and also separate locker room style bathrooms. At 7:30 AM I ran to the bathroom after finishing my business realized there was no TP! Ugh. Anyway afterwards I looked through the different open stalls with toilets. Only 3 toilets on the whole 4th floor had TP! To me having adequate TP is an essential thing. The bathrooms weren’t restocked until 10AM ish. And we aren’t even in peak tourist season. We mentioned the issue to the staff and they said “just call next time you need something” kinda hard to “just call” when you have already done your business in the bathroom and you need something to wipe with! They need to have staff check the bathrooms more frequently. -The kitchen is sad in the “equipment” department. One of the reasons we stay at hostels is to cook our own food. Maybe they are trying to push buying food from their restaurant. I get that they get a lot of traffic. But the cooking pan selection is -Terrible- nasty old pans that the thrift shop would discard. Janky handles, and interior coating mega gouged out. Don’t come here expecting to cook at least on level 4. -No way to make coffee!!! Again they probably want you to pay for their breakfast. But there is no option to make coffee. No coffee pot, machine, or way to make a filter pour over etc. Don’t bring coffee grounds expecting to make your morning brew. There was an electric kettle, but again no way to make coffee unless you brought instant. -The showers need a good bleach and scrub. The walls had black mold growing on them. Considering the fact that Kex was our most expensive hostel in Iceland (we paid 20,906 for a private double, with linens, and shared bathrooms…or $153 US) compare Kex to the Svjarborg in Stykkisholmer $90 US or Halfdan HI Hostel $63 US ( in both we had a private double & shared bath) but both were awesome and had a fully equipped kitchen with decent quality pots, options to make coffee, and plenty of toilet paper. I understand that being in the city we can expect to pay more. BUT I expect that price to include: -enough toilet paper -a means to make coffee -decent cookware. The good… -The location is great. Easy walking distance to the main shops/streets. And the ocean right across the highway. -Awesome “vibe” cool decor, lots of couches/lounge areas. -Entertaining/Social. In the evening there was group song trivia in the main area, and in another a live band. -Our room a private double with shared bathroom was large, and we slept well. (Note: I have never stayed in a “quiet” hostel so I always travel with a sleep soundtrack on my phone and a melatonin) -The staff was all polite In conclusion, I have traveled on 4 contine

Abbiamo avuto un piacevole soggiorno all'hotel Alda. La posizione è perfetta, tutti i negozi e ristoranti sono vicini. Il personale della reception è amichevole. Jorge era sorprendente e estremamente utile nel aiutarci a prenotare il nostro trasporto all'aeroporto. In futuro rimarrà certamente. Molto consigliato!

L'unico motivo per restare qui è per il conveniente pick-up e smettere di fermarsi per le tour e l'aeroporto. La stanza era una 4 letti e era forte. Situato al contrario della cucina e sopra l'ingresso principale significava che era anche molto rumoroso. I bunker sono molto, molto fondamentali. Ci sono punti di carico a ogni letto in questo particolare dormitorio (3) e il giacca fornito è una lancia decorativa. La pulizia lasciava molto da desiderare. In linea di massima doveva chiedere la ricezione di sapone a mano nel bagno, asciugamani di carta e carta da bagno. Il Wi-Fi non esiste e il personale di ricezione è assolutamente ambivalente; sono piacevoli, ma assolutamente non desiderano aiutare. Si ricorda una negabilità plausibile: restate qui solo per la posizione che vi permette di accedere a tutto ciò che l'Islanda deve offrire.

這是一家位於冰島🇮🇸首都外圍的小酒店，唯一優點酒店旁邊有一家平價小豬超市，購物方便，房間小，不值得推薦。床單也不換的。雷克雅末克應該住市中心，用餐方便，越南🇻🇳餐廳好多。

We had 2 nights here as our base near Reykjavik and got a pretty generous size room although no double bed, we were travelling as a couple but my fiancee was very happy for the space due to my snoring! Hotel is modern and staff friendly enough, only issue we had was our room had a fire escape outside which made a lot of noise in the wind at night. This is a great location, only 15 mins or so drive from Reykjavik centre and a nice location closer to airport and blue lagoon. Plenty of nearby restaurants and parking for the hotel. On the Sunday (and weekdays I think) they lock the main door so you need to use room key to open a side door - restaurant for breakfast only opens at 7AM. Continental breakfast available with a cool waffle / pancake maker.
