There is a wow moment as soon as you enter the Villas. The panoramic view of the lake is breathtaking. The Villa itself was warm and inviting, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need. The beds were so comfortable and the entire unit was impeccably clean. The grounds outside are well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Le proprietà di Staysouth sono un ottimo fornitore. Abbiamo soggiornato in Villa 10. La proprietà è in ottima condizione con tutte le attrazioni disponibili. È un cammino da città 5-minute, che lo rende molto conveniente senza l'inconveniente di dover guidare in città e trovare parcheggio. Comunicazione da Staysouth era tempestiva e dettagliata. Non esitarei a raccomandare Esplanade Queenstown

LyLo Queenstown locates at good location! There are many famous restaurants nearby there. You just take around 5 mins to go to Ferg family by walking. I think the kitchen is quite small because have users a lot but everything is clean, also bathroom.

I stayed here two nights on a Riviera Tour of New Zealand. The hotel consists of different linked buildings. However it is very easy to get lost despite them giving you a map. Our rooms overlooked the gardens unfortunately and not the lake. The rooms were ok. A bit tired and in need of refurbishment. However the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. The location of the Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill that leads into Queenstown. The walk up is taxing for older people so be aware. The hotel has the usual facilities of bar, restaurant gym and pool. I can't comment on the gym or pool as we did not have time to use it. The outlook from the hotel is over the lake towards the Remarkable Mountains one of the locations used in Lord of the Rings. It is an absolutely stunning place. Queenstown has lots to do. We took advantage of this. The breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet. Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries as well. A group of us ate in the bar on evening after a tour. Everyone enjoyed their food. Drinks were not to expensive either. The place is a pain to find your way round, so allow time for getting lost when meeting people.

Stai qui per un paio di notti e mangiare in un ristorante dell'Osservatorio, entrambe le notti. Il servizio non era troppo cattivo con personale amichevole e attento, il cibo era anche buono (pawn curry e pollo bao’s). Ero al quinto piano e aveva una bella grande stanza che era un po 'divisa dalla vista che ha visto più camere dell'hotel. Solo che la questione che avevo era che tutte le mie tovaglie erano state rimosse quando la mia stanza era pulita, quindi al mattino di checkout dovevo asciugarmi con una tovagliola a mano che ovviamente non era ideale. Il personale della reception era a posto, ma non li ho trovati troppo personali rispetto a molti dei loro hotel che sono rimasto a. È solo una breve passeggiata in città, anche se si deve essere consapevoli che quando torna la collina è un po' di forte - vale la pena ricordare se avete figli o famiglia anziana.

Il colazione è davvero molto bello. Si può dire che ha sollevato il nostro senso di esperienza.Molto pulito e pulito, non lontano dal centro della città.Il personale è particolarmente amichevole, ci sono lavastoviglie e asciugamani davvero un punto aggiuntivo.
Un po'sufficiente è che il WiFi e l'isolamento sonoro devono essere rafforzati

Molto vicino al centro della città, a piedi con parcheggio gratuito. Il 23 dicembre c'era un sacco di costruzione stradale per poter fare meglio l'esperienza. Ma il personale dell'hotel era amichevole e estremamente utile. Il letto era confortevole e aveva un balcone (livello del terreno) per cenare con una bella linea di cielo.

Esperienza la vista più attraente delle montagne dalla posizione di questo hotel. Sul lago fino alle montagne neve. Il balcone spazioso è invitando in un giorno soleggiato. I letti sono molto confortevoli e le mutandine splendide. La struttura generale dell'appartamento era spaziale e dotato di bagno e tutte le esigenze di cucina sono disponibili. Quando ci fermiamo, sono state effettuate riparazioni e, sebbene il rumore non fosse un problema (lungo fine settimana), la riduzione degli spazi di parcheggio è stata terribile. L' unico negativo che potevo menzionare è che il bar era piuttosto ordinario e il personale un po ' inesperto ma altrimenti vale completamente il denaro .

The restaurant was nice and food was good, that’s the only nice thing I can say. Our room with a view was right on top of the car park. No privacy whatsoever and the view had a big tree in front of it. Not quite what we expected for $330 a night and it gets worse, please read on. On arrival and needing to use the bathroom I quickly found out the toilet brush has not been cleaned in months, it stank the whole unit out. It was filthy!! I complained immediately to a staff member outside the unit doing cleaning rounds. They sent a cleaner up to re clean the bathroom and get rid of the smell plus they replaced the brush. We were not offered a clean room, I was almost sick 🤢 at the time and I really thought that was the least they could do, that brush was disgusting and it will be forever imprinted into my memory. 😩 There was also Mould growing in the corner of the bath/shower, the place is not cleaned properly. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, they charge $20 a night for you to park your car and they take $200 bond at the beginning of your stay, charge you the $10 exchange rate and when you go to get your money back they charge you another $10 to give it back. A $330 room turn into a $360 room. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. No photos as it is a memory I hope to forget.

Location is good if your need to transit to or from Queenstown Airport. The good is pretty new but I found the toilet was very smelly, may be it was empty for a long time....(no sure why). The staff at the reception is good and helpful.

EEveGHoliday Inn Express and Suites is a lovely place to stay in. Booked a room facing the mountains and lake. Beautiful views every morning. Convenient as it is close to Queenstown Centre where there are many eating places and restaurants, including the famous Fergburger.
Although I read about it being on a steep slope, I went ahead to book the place as Queenstown Botanic Gardens is just opposite a few streets away. Decided to take a longer but gentler walk back to the hotel from Queenstown Centre so that the walk is not that tiring.
Highly recommend this place as the staff is so friendly and hospitable. Close to Skyline & meeting place for Milford Sound Tour.Would definitely stay here again if I visit Queenstown.

TTrail52119469210Good location, comfy room with balcony with partial sea view. Had everything you needed but was a bit of a strange layout in the whole complex. To get to our room from reception we could get part of the way by a lift but then had to go outside twice to get to the right block. However, there was parking in the basement which had a direct lift up to the floor we were on. Like most places in Queenstown, there was a lot of building work going on & roadworks which made things a bit awkward but not impossible. Staff were friendly & helpful. There was a restaurant on site but we indulged in room service which was excellent.

La parte inferiore: un sentiero di colore molto datato e impersonale per arrivare nella nostra stanza. Tappeti a filo. Carpette in camera nostra molto sottile e ruggete in aree. Bagno molto datato - intorno a legno tra bagno e pareti. Porta bagno chiusa e bagno ruscato/chiusa e bagno. Doccia calda riscaldante con tappo temperamentale/temperatura gauge. Spruzzando l'acqua di acqua che spruzzava fuori dal ”duo” come un grande tappo/idrante, piuttosto che una doccia. Molto sgradevole e si sentiva molto pericoloso. Il bagno era molto basso e sono appena oltre 5 ft e dovevo sopportare. Il bagno non stava spruzzando molto bene. Volevo preparare una tazza di tè prima di lasciare, ma il cartone lattiero-caseario nel frigorifero era mezzo pieno e era stato tagliato aperto e usato. Pertanto non ho fatto una bevanda! Ho emailato il direttore generale della proprietà ma non ho avuto risposta. Non lo consiglio come un luogo di soggiorno. Ho soggiornato diverse volte in una parte di questa proprietà senza alcuna colpa. Vivo a casa per più di dieci anni, ma non rimarrei qui. Questo è un trattamento per mia figlia e io e io mi sento molto deluso, perché i soldi spesi nella stanza non influiscono sulla qualità e sul valore ricevuto. Molto prezioso per quello che è disponibile.

UUtente ospite Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I mattoni avevano numerosi tinture nere su di esso. Il punto di accesso alla carta di swap di parcheggio di base è molto confuso. Devo dire dove lasciare le carte di swap di stanza quando si vaca. Molto comodo letto, buona lenzuola e molto pulito bagno.

UUtente ospiteIl ristorante è buono, la pizza è deliziosa, è il vecchio tipo di patate italiana, il bordo è un po'fuoco, ma è molto profumo. Tuttavia, come hotel, non sceglieremo mai questa casa. Le strutture sono vecchie, il tubo d'acqua è instabile, non c'è lavastoviglie, non c'è nemmeno un microonde, ci sono elettrici e macchine da pane. La lavatrice ha bisogno di venti coltelli una volta, e l'intero hotel ha due lavatrice, lavatrice di lavatrice, non so quanto tempo non è stata lavata, ma la luce è buona. Il cameriere non può vedere nessuno. Non c'è nessun telefono nella stanza. C'è un problema che può correre per trovare la reception. La linea di autobus può essere sbagliata con la navigazione, nessuno può rispondere.C'è chiaramente una stazione molto vicina, e l'ultima stazione ha suggerito di uscire dall'autobus. C'è una certa distanza dalla città, dove prendere l'autobus richiede sei stazioni, ma il tempo di autobus non è completamente preciso.Quindi, se arrivate in fretta, potete arrivare in città per mezz'ora, ma potrebbe richiedere un'ora per aspettare l'auto.

CCarlieMSWe stayed here two separete nights. We booked in advance and we were nervous to book the same hostel in case we didn't like it, but fortunately we did and it didn't dissapoint at all. The recepcionist was nice and welcoming to us, everything is clean, it has several kitchens and the common room is like a huge family room with sofa, covers, TV and board games all super cozy which is the perfect enviroment to NOT have a heart attack when you find out that the borders where you are connecting home are all closed and probably you'll have to stay in NZ forever (not a bad thing tho, but I was pretty poor at that point, lol). Anyway, the people is nice, the dorm room has its own bathroom inside which is a massive YES! The lockers are huge plus there are tiny lockers with outlets inside to put your devices (genious). The bunks are hardly bunks because they are pretty solid wood-made so even if your bunkmate moves a lot you won't notice. It has a courtine which is awesome for privacy, its own night light and outlets by your bed. Maybe the only downside is that the parking lot is really (really) tiny, which makes it very difficult to maneuver, specially when you have never driven in the left before, jaja. Other than that, awesome stay, if I ever go back to Queenstown, definetely would stay here again! :)

UUtente ospite1. Location: It's convenient and great if you don't have a car as it's only 10 mins away from the city centre. There is a bus stop to go to the airport and city just next to the hotel. There's the Queenstown Trail track just down the road if you wish to have a pleasant walk along the lake. 2. Service: The guy who did our check-in did it like he was repeating a song that he was fed up with singing. Good for those in a hurry who like express check-in with 0 personalization or care but that was NOT a 5* check-in. 3. Room: Booked a standard room on Luxury Escapes, but I don't think the hotel should be on this ”high standard” booking platform. Our room was on the ground floor, so everybody could see us and our belongings. The room was old and small. We had very little room left being 2 people with 2 big luggages. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was still dirty from the previous guests. The blinds didn't work properly and we had to find tricks to close them so people wouldn't see us get changed or sleep! Your sleep might get disturbed if passersby are loud and drunk lol. The washing machine was literally just in front of our room door (a thin door) and woke us up super early one morning. The TV didn't work. Big lack of plugs outlets. Overall, if you're planning on spending the entire day outside and getting back to the room just for sleep then you're fine but don't expect anything fancy.

UUtente ospiteIeri sera il nostro volo fuori Queenstown è stato cancellato! Air NZ non poteva/non prenotare nessuno alcun alloggio. La nostra famiglia di 5 passeggeri in taxi per noi. Quasi 2 ore dopo siamo arrivati in questo hotel a 1:00. Il bellissimo manager della notte non solo ci ha curati, ha anche trovato dei bambini qualcosa di cibo. Le camere erano pulite, calde e moderne. Se solo il servizio clienti era questo buono ovunque. Grazie 🙏

If you don’t want a welcome, electricity, heating then this is the place to be! We arrived at about 17:15 and the reception was closed and opened up the next day at 09:30. Everything fine, we took the keys from the post box. The room was ice cold and we put the heating on. The heating just made noises all night and didn’t give any heat. There was a phone number available, but only for emergencies, if it wasn’t an emergency then the owner would charge you 50$. As we didn’t know if having no heating (which you would expect at a motel) was an emergency or not, we decided to sleep in the cold. The next day we told him about it and he gave us an electric heater. I also asked if he could change the full bins from their previous guests. The next evening the electricity was out. It took about an hour for it to be back… The room itself is outdated as the heating doesn’t work and there are scratches and stains on the walls and carpets. The cleanliness is ok. For the ‘show’ it seems clean, but whatever you do, do not look under the beds or behind cabinets! The location is good, it’s a 7 minute walk to the centre, but in all honesty you could probably find a better motel with a warm welcome and stuff that works.
