Great location. Staff were very nice. The 5-6pm drinks a nice touch. Tea, coffee and soft drinks available in the lounge all day. Don't pay for the breakfast if you are a late riser, as often found not much left until they came around to check on it every 5-10 minutes. It was probably one of the most sp**** continental breakfasts I have ever seen. So I have lowered my value score as breakfast was a let down if you went down after 9am. So have a tea or coffer in lounge and then go to a bakery.

Io e mia moglie siamo rimasti a The Spire per un fine settimana di festa in una delle suite Deluxe (livello 2, davanti al lago). Per noi era notabile, ma certamente non disturbante, e noi amavamo la vista della montagna così felice di essere da quel lato; il personale di The Spire era meraviglioso, e ci sentivamo come creavano un'atmosfera molto accogliente e amichevole. La suite stessa era fantastica, e tutto ciò che ci auguravamo. Il bar e il ristorante sul sito erano molto buoni (definitamente fare il più dei colazione inclusi) e il nostro unico rammarico non era avere un pasto di sera li (anche se abbiamo provato uno dei loro toast crayfish con i nostri complimentari cocktail - entrambi il toast e i cocktail erano bellissimi). Abbiamo chiesto al personale di organizzare alcune cose per il nostro soggiorno, e tutto era sorprendente: dal trasferimento aeroportuale, alla tour privata di vista, e gli incredibili terapisti di massaggio che hanno messo in nostra suite per il massaggio di un paio di persone. E' stato fantastico. Grazie per averci aiutato a creare qualche meraviglioso ricordo. Spero che potremo tornare a casa qualche volta (ci siamo promessi di venire a cena al numero 5!)

Paradise in the Southern Alps with incredible views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the Remarkables mountain range. The hotel has a rustic feel yet at the same time very elegant and everything beautifully appointed. Loved our room overlooking the lake and the comfortable seating to enjoy the view. Everything was spotless and comfortable. I would so definitely stay here again.

No staff on site overnight but manager available by telephone. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable/well equipped. Free laundry and sauna on lower ground floor. Very adequate breakfast in the bar starting at 8am. Limited paid parking onsite but we were lucky to get a space on the road just outside. Staff advised us to leave car there if possible so we didnt lose the space. Would have given 5 stars if parking was better -didnt bother us but could some people.

Purtroppo la nostra stanza non sembrava nulla delle foto. Abbiamo una stanza 101, una stanza a soli metri dalla strada occupata. La stanza era così buia e disgustosa, e le finestre si aprirono alla strada. Non c'erano giardini o giardini netti, quindi non potevamo nemmeno aprire la giardinaggio, perché la gente poteva vedere direttamente dalla strada. Non potevo stare accanto al mio marito sul divano, perché non c’era più la metà del divano, quindi doveva avere un cuscino contro la finestra, ma era ancora un po’ dietro di me. La più grande influenza è stata che c'era un segno di reclamo in frontiera per $150/night, abbiamo pagato quasi $450/night - 3 volte quanto valeva quella stanza. Dice che alcune camere hanno una vista – La mia prenotazione ha indicato una vista sulla montagna e la vista sulla città, nemmeno io. Anche se potrebbero avere una foto dell'interno della nostra camera molte foto nella collezione, non mostra il tetto di legno scuro, quindi non riflette la camera di disma che avevamo, soprattutto quando non potevamo aprire le tende. Ho e-mailato la società via booking.com e il loro sito web, ma non ho sentito nulla di nuovo.

Siamo una famiglia di tre e abbiamo trascorso nove notti alla Crowne Plaza di Queenstown. Il personale dell'hotel è molto amichevole e utile e l'hotel è in una posizione fantastica, ma questi sono gli unici positivi. Abbiamo avuto colazione complimentare per nove giorni, ma non l'abbiamo mangiata una volta durante il nostro soggiorno.Abbiamo provato colazione, ma era molto inferiore alla media.Posso raccomandare il succo d'arancia, ma preferiremmo andare da qualche parte per il nostro caffè mattina e un po' per mangiare. Il ristorante è stato anche mangiato la prima notte, ma è stato sufficiente per noi. Questo era anche inferiore alla media e non siamo mai tornati durante le otto notti rimanenti. L'hotel è molto un standard a tre stelle. È una proprietà invecchiata con piccole camere e molto limitate strutture alberghiere. L'hotel non è economico e direi che non rappresenta un buon valore per i soldi. Questo è uno dei peggiori hotel IHG che abbiamo visitato. In realtà, ci aspettavamo di andarcene, che è stato una vergogna, perché Queenstown è sorprendente.Stiamo passando alcune notti all'Hilton Hotel di Auckland prima di tornare in Australia. In tutta onestà, abbiamo tutti avuto un sorriso enorme quando ci siamo reclutati a Hilton e ci siamo sentiti così felici di tornare nel tipo di hotel che ci abituiamo a fare.

Ho prenotato questo hotel per essere vicini a LUMA. Ho letto alcune recensioni davvero miste e ero un po' nervoso. Ma abbiamo avuto il miglior soggiorno! Dritto da chiamare quando ho fatto un errore di prenotazione online, l'uomo con cui ho parlato era così utile, ospitando il mio grande gruppo familiare in tre camere . Era un fine settimana molto occupato all'hotel con Luma e il compleanno dei re, ma il personale era così bello e amichevole nonostante fosse scappato dai piedi, i punti di vista erano i piu' confortevoli letti mai, La piscina Fab Spa che è stata colpita con noi adulti e bambini (prenota una slot al reception), e l'incredibile vista del lago davanti dalle camere frontali del lago. Ci era anche un angolo dei bambini vicino alla reception con gioco Xbox, libri e alcuni giocattoli. Le recensioni online erano state medie per il colazione. Anche se non era disastroso, era più che bello e le pasticce danesi sono deliziose! In generale, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno fab e sicuramente prenoteremmo di nuovo.

The things that I liked about this accommodation was its proximity to the city centre (walkable to everywhere), the well equipped kitchen which we used to cook several meals, the 2 bathrooms included in the 2 bedroom apartment and the fact there was a washer and dryer. The apartment building itself is quite 'higgle-piggle'. Lots of stairs and we felt quite overlooked wherever we were. The balconies are all right next to one and other and if others are out there it feels quite awkward as you are about 3 meters from the neighbours conversations. Both bedrooms backed onto a walkway to other peoples apartments which resulted in loud voices straight past where we were all sleeping early in the morning and late at night when others were coming and going. If the blinds were open at all everyone could see straight into the bedroom. The apartment was also extremely hot in the afternoons with no fans or air con supplied (on day 2 we did request a fan and it was promptly brought to us). But one small pedestal fan really didn't help for 5 people. There was also A LOT of partying going on while we were there... it was the week after Christmas so i get people are celebrating but with 3 young kids it was VERY noisy. There is no onsite reception and the offsite reception is only in the day so we really just had to suffer through screaming and swearing etc for hours of the night. Overall, our stay was mostly fine and if i didnt have small kids I probably would have rated it better but for a family stay I would personally choose somewhere else in the future.

Amazing place to stay, we had the 2 bdrm, 2 bathroom suite on the top floor (stair access) Views to die for, it was sparkling clean with awesome heating, super comfy beds, top of the range linen, coffee machine, microwave, great wifi, sky TV, huge balcony and we couldn't have asked for more. The staff were attentive and responsive and friendly. Love love love the place....

The location was the best part for us. It was very central in Queenstown and surrounded with many good restaurants, bars and shops. If you are planning on skiing or doing an excursion there are many pick up spots and tour operators near the hostel as well. The room was a good spot to sleep. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and they provided a nice small space heater to keep the room warm if needed. We didn't have any body wash on our first night in the shower, we reported to the front desk and they gave us a couple of bars and we were told that they would replace in the morning but when we came back it was unfortunately not replaced but we did get another small bar of soap. The remote in the room was disgusting and covered in what I imagine was at one point part of some good fried chicken or possibly pizza but everything else seemed to be fine. Check in was a little tricky because there is self check in/check out tablets at the entrance. We couldn't figure out the right combination of booking reference number and name because we had received Jucy's confirmation code in a separate email. The attendant did offer to help us out but we got the right combo at that very moment. You can pick your cards to activate them and we had no issues with this part but later that evening my card deactivated and I went to the front desk a second time to get it working on our first night. The hotel has some very good signage and arrows to tell you where your rooms are and the amenities (rooftop bar/restaurant, laundry room and kitchen area). The hotel seems to be more of a party hotel and when we arrived there was lots of drinking and people having a good time. This went well into the night and the noise seemed to travel well down the hallway from the rooms that were hosting. We could also hear our neighbour coming and going throughout the first night but it was relatively quiet between 12-6. We picked this hostel for the location and to save a little bit of money for excursions. It did get very busy in our area the first night we were there but after that we had no issues with the traffic. It was a 15 minute ride to the airport in the Uber and the bus stops at the nearby Stanley St bus hub and only takes about 25 minutes to go to/from the airport with limited traffic.

Questa è la mia seconda visita qui che parla per se stesso, immagino. Ho trascorso cinque giorni qui durante le vacanze di Natale quando il posto era molto tranquillo, che mi ha adattato ...ma probabilmente non è ideale per una valutazione standard. È perfettamente situato, centrale senza rumore e a pochi minuti per gli acquisti alimentari. L'unico piccolo ritratto per me è che i dormitori sono un po' ”cosi”, e la cucina non è il migliore ammasso al mondo. Oltre a che sia un buon posto per essere ... e Steph e la squadra fanno un buon lavoro per mantenere il posto in forma di nave.

La nostra camera (camera 8) è di base ma ha tutto quello che ti serve. Calore, asciugamani, spazio, finestra.La nostra camera era calda e confortevole.Bagni e toletta condivisi erano puliti. Cucina e salotto erano tedi e molto spaziosi posti da sedere. Posizione è sorprendente !! 5 minuti a piedi per qualsiasi cosa.Anche il personale era carino.Due cose sono che potevamo sentire tutto accadendo le scale, le pareti sono un po' sottili ma fortunatamente siamo dormitori profondi e poi finalmente abbiamo trovato alcuni oggetti di soggiornanti precedenti sotto il nostro letto. Oltre a queste due cose molto felici con il nostro soggiorno.

I met up with my daughter for a final day in Queenstown after a couple of weeks separate travelling. We wanted some luxury and a place to do our laundry. The Glebe met both of these requirements. We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a view over the lake. It was super comfortable and had a lovely veranda to enjoy the sun and view. It had an excellent set of cooking appliances and equipment. Laundry facilities were perfect and supplied laundry soap too. The apartments are very central so handy to get to activities, shops and restaurants. It is on a very steep hill. There are two car parks and you have to reserve your parking space. There is a hotel porter trolley which is very useful if you have many bags to unload/load a car.
