Hotel a 3 stelle a Quilpie

We was told there would be parking space for us. When we return after dinner we found the specific parking space were full and actually there were very limited parking lot(7-8 cars) for so many rooms. The reception told us it was first come first serve and suggested us to park at the neighbourhood but not at other free spaces inside the hotel area. Thats quite not friendly to be honest.

Personale amichevole e comunicativo. Dopo ore di check-in nessun prob. Parcheggio stradale limitato (forse meglio non su un Frieve / quando la costruzione stradale è stata fatta). Centralmente situato a bar/restauranti. Il luogo stesso si sente un po' innamorato e senza amore, mentre le lane erano pulite, i mattoni/baseboard non erano. Cucine e bagni sono buoni. Vibe un po' fratt/party, il ragionevolmente tranquillo e nessun malcontento. In generale, perfettamente ben e adeguato, l'albero di esecuzione della mill.

The location was the best part for us. It was very central in Queenstown and surrounded with many good restaurants, bars and shops. If you are planning on skiing or doing an excursion there are many pick up spots and tour operators near the hostel as well. The room was a good spot to sleep. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and they provided a nice small space heater to keep the room warm if needed. We didn't have any body wash on our first night in the shower, we reported to the front desk and they gave us a couple of bars and we were told that they would replace in the morning but when we came back it was unfortunately not replaced but we did get another small bar of soap. The remote in the room was disgusting and covered in what I imagine was at one point part of some good fried chicken or possibly pizza but everything else seemed to be fine. Check in was a little tricky because there is self check in/check out tablets at the entrance. We couldn't figure out the right combination of booking reference number and name because we had received Jucy's confirmation code in a separate email. The attendant did offer to help us out but we got the right combo at that very moment. You can pick your cards to activate them and we had no issues with this part but later that evening my card deactivated and I went to the front desk a second time to get it working on our first night. The hotel has some very good signage and arrows to tell you where your rooms are and the amenities (rooftop bar/restaurant, laundry room and kitchen area). The hotel seems to be more of a party hotel and when we arrived there was lots of drinking and people having a good time. This went well into the night and the noise seemed to travel well down the hallway from the rooms that were hosting. We could also hear our neighbour coming and going throughout the first night but it was relatively quiet between 12-6. We picked this hostel for the location and to save a little bit of money for excursions. It did get very busy in our area the first night we were there but after that we had no issues with the traffic. It was a 15 minute ride to the airport in the Uber and the bus stops at the nearby Stanley St bus hub and only takes about 25 minutes to go to/from the airport with limited traffic.

Rimasi qui per una settimana. Era un po' preoccupante per le strutture di condivisione, perché non sapete mai come gli altri ospiti sarebbero stati, ma mi sono piaciuto di essere sorpresa. La cucina era immacolata e così era la camera da bagno/ducheria. Un cubico di bagno aveva una chiusura rotta e le porte di cubico di vetro erano un po'scivolate. Tuttavia, le docce sono in un cubico di chiusura. I puliziari sono venuti quotidianamente e raffreddati i tovaglioli in cucina/bagno. Le camere sono grandi. Abbiamo un letto doppio e un letto con un sacco di letti, anche se era solo un letto con entrambi, ma era bello avere qualcuno che metteva le nostre cose che non erano solo sul pavimento. Ci sono stati due frigoriferi/congelatori nella zona comunale e ciascuna stanza ha una propria copertina etichettata, nonché un tappeto numerato per la conservazione dei loro cibi, e un forno, un forno, una microonde, un tostapane e due caldaie. Nota che se si ottiene le camere standard, le tue asciugamani personali non sono cambiate ($3 per ottenere una nuova) e le tue camere non sono pulite durante il soggiorno. Inoltre, vi è parcheggio fuori dall'alloggio se si dispone di una macchina/di una piccola auto. La posizione è a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla città e si trova vicino a qualche bella passeggiata.

Il posto è collocato, buon esercito. 16 minuti a piedi al centro della città e gondola. Colazione gratuita e mi piace 7-9am. Il personale della signora, era amichevole. Pieno di parcheggio, vista sorprendente. Non aspettare molto che si ottiene quello che ha pagato. La stanza è semplicemente in ordine, abbiamo avuto TV, microonde, caldaia elettrica e frigorifero.Il bagno è piccolo ma che’’aspettato , la pressione della doccia è grande!

Questi bagagli hanno fatto davvero molto memorabile il nostro soggiorno invernale a Queenstown. Ci siamo trasferiti in una delle camere familiari di secondo piano con fantastiche viste sulle Remarkables. La stanza era sempre calda con letti confortevoli, un sacco di spazio di magazzinaggio e un frigo. Ci sono state alcune cose che ci hanno detto: personale molto utile e amichevole (nessun problema era mai stato), bagni molto puliti, cucina pulita con molte cucina e cucina, cibo gratuito mercoledì sera, noleggio di biciclette gratuite (biciclette di qualità!), La zona spa e a pochi passi da tutte le principali attrazioni della città.

The rooms were very average condition, but our kids enjoyed the big deck to play on. Staff werent very helpful and seemed noone knew what was going on, slack communication it seemed. I had also requested our family rooms to be close (twice) yet when we arrived we were on different floors! The man at the desk had no explantion or idea how to fix this issue. Eventually I called for the manager and she changed the rooms for the following night. The restaurant was unimpressive for the high prices also. Had much better meals in town.

Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here two separete nights. We booked in advance and we were nervous to book the same hostel in case we didn't like it, but fortunately we did and it didn't dissapoint at all. The recepcionist was nice and welcoming to us, everything is clean, it has several kitchens and the common room is like a huge family room with sofa, covers, TV and board games all super cozy which is the perfect enviroment to NOT have a heart attack when you find out that the borders where you are connecting home are all closed and probably you'll have to stay in NZ forever (not a bad thing tho, but I was pretty poor at that point, lol). Anyway, the people is nice, the dorm room has its own bathroom inside which is a massive YES! The lockers are huge plus there are tiny lockers with outlets inside to put your devices (genious). The bunks are hardly bunks because they are pretty solid wood-made so even if your bunkmate moves a lot you won't notice. It has a courtine which is awesome for privacy, its own night light and outlets by your bed. Maybe the only downside is that the parking lot is really (really) tiny, which makes it very difficult to maneuver, specially when you have never driven in the left before, jaja. Other than that, awesome stay, if I ever go back to Queenstown, definetely would stay here again! :)

La stanza non è molto grande Ci sono frigo, vasca e microonde nella stanza, quindi posso fare molte cose senza dover condividere la cucina. Anche il tempo di condivisione è pulito Quando il parcheggio davanti alla stanza è pieno Sento un po' di affaticamento.
